Host is friendly and available for questions. Great location to explore the north and east sides of the island. Host provided a nice guide to favorite spots and snorkeling supplies. We felt the relaxed Hawaiian vibe with nature all around. A nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu.

I don’t know where to begin! This slice of heaven is lovely in itself, but Jansen and Sam make it even better. They came by to introduce themselves and showed my husband how to husk the coconuts while also giving us a little history! It’s a private tiny home in the quiet countryside with everything you need. we were here for 8 nights and wish we could stay longer! We will stay here everytime we return to the island. Thanks so much again!

Jelly is welcoming and responsive. She takes pride in maintaining the home. The location is ideal for activities on the north and east sides of the island. It was secluded enough to be away from traffic noise yet close enough to be convenient to get to the main road. It was a home away from home providing comfort after a fun filled day of hiking, beach going, eating and touring. We appreciated the welcome binder listing activities and food to try. We would stay again.

House was clean. It was cool to stay in a farm setting. Location is a bit out of the way though, fair warning. Host was very responsive. They even had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow which I appreciated.

The tiny house was perfect for my short stay. It was cool and comfortable. I slept better than I have in a long time. All the things I needed were readily available. The owners were so kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend this as a landing spot!!!

A lovely, clean, well designed Tiny home just right for a night after traveling. Especially enjoyed the fruit trees surrounding the home in the morning and view of taro and mountain. The story of how the home came to be, the history of the property and the owners’ “love story” was great to read about. Made me appreciate the land even more!

A nice little oasis for a low key stay on Oahu. The space was perfect for the two of us. We could enjoy the living space and the bedroom offered comfortable accommodations. We appreciated the air conditioning that worked great. The property has had modern updates and was as clean as expected. I appreciated the clear directions to the property as it is tucked away and secluded in a beautiful country setting. It was perfect access to Laie and Kahuku and easy to drive to and from the other bigger cities on the island when we wanted to. I am certain I will return to this quiet country retreat. Other travelers should know this is a perfect Hawaii country home. If you're not a country person, you might not fully appreciate this gem of a property.

This place was perfect for my family of 4 (parents and 2 kids). It was close to all we wanted to do on North Shore and kept us from having to be in the big city (Waikiki area). The hosts were so friendly and responsive. One of my kids even had an accident in one of the beds and they were kind enough to bring us some new sheets. This place has everything you need and the hosts are so generous to provide beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, a small cooler. They even had snorkel gear, sand toys, and surf boards. My kids loved husking coconuts and eating them fresh too (one of the hosts was on site performing some maintenance when we arrived and showed my boys how to do it). If you are wanting to live like a local and be in the country instead of the city, this is the place for you. We would definitely stay there again.

Our experience here was incredible. The hosts are incredibly gracious and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond and helping with some special requests. The house itself is a little slice of paradise. Tucked away and very private, the sounds of nature are everywhere, chickens grazing in the front yard, and every tropical fruit you can imagine is growing all around the property and is ripe for the picking. The inside of the house is quaint, simple, and had everything that we needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and everything was spotless. The location is minutes away from some of the most incredible beaches in the world and is a great central location for exploring northern Oahu.Highly recommend staying here. We will be back!

Great property and location in Laie, very affordable. The property manager was quick to respond and provided us with great details and information regarding check in/check out. Once we arrived, we found a book with plenty of suggestions of things to do and places to eat. The accommodations were very nice, great clean beds and a nice bathroom. Open living area with a small kitchen and refrigerator if you felt like staying in. Wifi worked, A/C, and tv if you desired too. All in all a very pleasant place to stay and I would recommend this to any and all!

The property is pretty secluded down a private road with a rock wall around it. The mini home is actually pretty spacious with accommodations for 4. The bathroom is beautiful, the rooms were cozy, the bedding was clean, everything was really wonderful. I’m kind of a weird girl and we got to see some snails on the exterior of the house! (I thought it was cool. I like seeing things like that.) I wish that I had reason to stay longer because I would! If I’m ever in need for a place to stay and im in the area. I hope this place is available! The property owner was curious and communicative. They sent me easy to follow notes of tips and rules and they were quick to respond when I reach out about leaving my charging cord there! This stay made my trip that much more special and I’m endlessly grateful for the experience!

We stayed here for a wedding. It was the perfect place for what we needed.… Clean, cozy, and comfortable. Great AC. We love the authentic vibe of Hawaii with mangoes dropping on the roof and the chickens all around. One suggestion is to maybe mark the entranceway a little bit more visibly as it was difficult to find the first time even with detailed instructions. Thank you for letting us stay at your tiny home, Jelly!

Hosts are wonderful. Country experience (which means all sorts of fruit trees and wildlife. If you’re sensitive to mosquitoes, come prepared. Hosts were kind enough to allow us a firepit and Imu which help keep the mosquitoes down. We came in mango season and unlimited mangoes was a nice bonus. We’d stay here again.

We used this tiny home as a base for exploring the island - basically a place to have breakfast, sleep and shower. It's centrally located for exploring the upper coast and an easy drive back to Honolulu. It's tucked away so very peaceful and quiet. Having access to beach chairs and an umbrella was an added nice touch as we visited from NM and couldn't bring our own! The owners were very communicative and there were no unpleasant surprises.

Appreciate the opportunity to book just one night. Directions were good. Communication was good. Good price. Never saw the host. Three young women we did feel a bit uncomfortable with the directions telling us no need to lock the deadbolt and also the open windows in the shower without the ability to close it. Otherwise stay was nice.

If you are looking to get off the beaten path and have a fantastic place to explore Laie, I full-heartedly recommend this place. Everything you need is provided (i.e. beach towels, snorkels, boogie boards, beach chairs, all house amenities) and it has lots of local character and charm. The directions are easy to follow, and the location is perfect for navigating the North Shore. Do yourself a favor and book this day!

This property ended up being perfect and very comfortable for our family of four. The AC worked amazingly. The host was very communicative and even wanted to meet us, however, it was our fault we didn’t make that happen as we really only used the house as a base camp and were not there much other than to sleep and shower. The neighborhood is unique, but we had no problem finding the house. We had zero problems during our stay. It was great! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful stay at the Tiny Home! Sam and Jansen were communicative and kind hosts. Even while expecting a new baby, they took the time to meet us and make sure we had everything we needed. When we mentioned that the Wi-Fi was slow, they called the internet provider immediately and we had very speedy Wi-Fi within minutes. The space itself was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the two quiet and powerful AC units, the great water pressure in the shower, and the gear provided (beach towels, beach blanket, snorkels, fins, boogie boards, cooler, and more). The Tiny Home is very accessible to all things North Shore. We had a wonderful time snorkelling at Shark's Cove, watching the performances at the Polynesian Cultural Center, relaxing at the quiet beaches, and enjoying the various food trucks. The home is surrounded by lush greenery and is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu. We absolutely adored our stay at the Tiny Home and it was a great way to experience Hawaii for the first time. Highly recommend!

This was a lovely rustic little house. We loved that it was so close to everything in Laie, so we didn’t need to spend hours in the car. The host gave excellent directions for finding the house, which is helpful, since it is on a country road. Bed was comfortable. Great shower. Wake to the birds singing every morning. Host was friendly and helpful. We would stay there again.

We felt so lucky to have found this place! Its secluded, peaceful, and in the country side of Laie. We had everything we needed for the 6 nights we stayed. Warm showers, mini split cooling, pots and pans to cook with, and very comfortable beds. I booked it and suprised my husband with the ultimate visit. No crowds just stars at night and a ukelele to play on the porch. The owners are special people who went out of their way to help us enjoy Laie and the north shore. Aloha ❤️

Just our style. Country sounds and gorgeous landscape. Even the uncle’s place looked like American Pickers (Hawaiian style) and sneaking through was as exciting as it was as a kid without the neighbor yelling to get off his lawn. Just a short beautiful walk to a gorgeous empty beach and a short drive to the north shore. Not for those looking for a resort experience but perfect if you enjoy a glamping experience. We loved it!

We stayed 4 nights with our 2 grade school-aged kids and they loved all the animals around the property - any bird lover will be astonished by the variety & beauty of their sights and sounds. The house was freshly clean, 2 AC units cooled it quickly and the beds were comfortable. The owner came by and taught the kids how to shuck a coconut and it was a highlight learning experience (it’s hard work :). I loved that we were an easy driving distance to North Shore, Waimea and Sharks Cove. Having Hukilau beach a couple minute drive for the end of the day for sunsets was also ideal. It was the kids 1st trip here and we had a wonderful time.

We stayed here after going to the PCC so we didn't have to drive back to Honolulu with our internal clocks on East Coast time. It was a great place to stay the night, definitely small (around 24'x20' overall in 3 rooms?), but waking up and hearing the birds was great, and it had everything we needed. Great place to go and get away without being too far out of the way (we continued across the North Shore and went on to visit Pearl Harbor). We found had a couple of minor maintenance issues with the bathroom, but they didn't impede our using them and I am told they are being fixed. Great communication from our host and we enjoyed our stay!

We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this “Tiny Home”. The unit was very clean which is a must for me. The location was quiet and away from the noise and bustle from the city, just a short 5 minute walk to beautiful Hukilau Beach. Some points to note when staying here would be that all cooking must be done via electricity. The kitchen appliances include a two burner hotplate, toaster, rice cooker, single cup coffee maker (you can bring your own grounds to use in the reusable filter), and microwave. The fridge was apartment size with plenty of room and no issues with the fridge part freezing food or the freezer melting as we have experienced in other rental units. AC works well but only needed occasionally as we could often get a nice breeze through the screened windows. What really made this stay awesome though was our hosts. We really felt like we had come home to family upon our arrival. Sam and Jansen were easy and quick to communicate with and we loved the lesson on coconuts and some of the local Hawaiian history.

All recommendations had a personal story or touch that made it a unique experience. Even when at a busy stage of their lives Jansen and Sam took the time to explain with details how to move around the area and learn about coconuts and fruit trees. Loved the access to great beaches and native culture
