This complex is approximately 10 steps from the water's edge, on the South Shore of Kaua'i in Po'ipu. Po'ipu is well known for its year-round sunny weather, beautiful beaches, and multiple world-class restaurants. Do you scuba or surf? No problem. Both are in the immediate vicinity.
Enjoy the large, open-concept living area of this property. This vacation rental has a complete kitchen featuring stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, vessel sinks in the bathrooms, updated lighting, and high-quality furnishings. From the moment you walk in through the front door, you will be amazed at the stunning ocean view. It is everywhere: kitchen, dining room, living room, and main bedroom. You will not only see the ocean and the breaking surf but as well, during the winter months, you will enjoy whale watching right from your lanai and, year-round, be able to watch our Honu, also known as sea turtles, sunning themselves on the shore or swimming in the bay. At night you will fall asleep to the sound of the ocean lapping on the shore outside your vacation home away from home.

Kuhio Shores building has an upcoming Exterior Painting Project that will effect Bookings Reserved during August 2025 - September 2025. It will start on the Bayside and progress to the ocean front, Scaffolding will be up one section at a time which may impact the view.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Unit was clean and as described. Lovely views, quiet area and perfect for a relaxing trip. Unit is well appointed and relaxing on 4th floor balcony provided amazing sunrise & sunset views. No direct beach access as it is on the rocks. Baby beach is very easy 3-5 minute walk. The location is quiet and ideal, away from people, buildings and businesses of Poipu beach. There is a shopping center very close. Only recommendation would be more comfortable and relaxing balcony furniture.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was comfortable and the view was lovely. The only downside was the small hot water heater meant our family had to stagger our showers out so we would all have hot water, but that isn't difficult to do. None of us were ready to leave, and I hope we have the opportunity to come back again one day.
We had a wonderful time in Kauai. The condo is perfectly located and well appointed. We watched the surfers and turtles right from the balcony! We had to contact staff one time and they responded at 5 am and had the issue resolved quickly. Can say enough good things! Maholo
Could not have asked for a better location. We will miss the view: catching sight of turtles while having dinner, seeing the surfers wipe out, and of course, the gorgeous sunsets. My only minor gripe would be to have an actual human being we could talk to when we have questions. iI sounded like the Vacasa management group was responding with AI, and they gave us incorrect information about the property amenities.

Relaxing, beautiful, beachy decor. Plenty of seating, great beds, palm/pineapple carvings on chairs/beds, every need met in kitchen and bath, beach chairs, sand toys, beach towels all available (some in chest on lanai).Wanted to just be there. Area is beautiful water, waves, volcanic rock, and sand. Great location for Waimea Canyon and Allerton Gardens.

Gorgeous, oceanfront condo.
Loved the location and right on the water. We saw turtles, surfers, whales and beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed the Old town Kaloa and shopping centers.
Pros: located directly overlooking the beach. Comfortable bed. Good quality sheets and towels. Very quiet and clean.Cons: The master bathroom is a niche in the wall of the bedroom. Shower opens directly into the room. Sink/commode combo is tiny. Barely room to turn around. Bed has huge 4 posters and nearly fill the space. Night time potty includes hitting your head.The kitchen island is too close to the sink, and the fridge door opens in the opposite direction. You have to exit the opposite end, walk around the island in order to open the fridge.The place is crying for a new coat of paint and and refresh. Don’t let this stop you. The pros outweigh the cons.
Left macadamia nuts in cabinet above refrigerator. Vcasa would not contact the owner so that the building super could get them. These items cost me over $100. The incompetence of the Vacasa staff is beyond measure. I will never book anything with them again. I think Vrbo should do the same. Once Vacasa has your money they could care less if you have any problems.

Great spot in kawai, clean and confortable, very convenient
Stunning view and top notch unit! Daily turtle & surfer spottings right off the lanai!! Perfect spot for relaxation and adventure. The pictures are an excellent representation of the unit. It is extremely easy to get in and out of the property and is in a great location. We will be back to this unit as quickly as possible.

Wowsa!! Our whole condo overlooked the ocean. Natural white noise to fall asleep to! We saw whales, schools of dolphins, turtles and surfers just sitting on our balcony. Also witnessed beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We will be back!!

Very nice place and location. We really enjoyed our stay. A couple issues, but nothing that would lower our review. Would go back.
