Prince Kuhio’s Surf Break: Grab a blanket and get ready for a show right in your backyard! Prince Kuhio’s surf break, between Prince Kuhio and Lawai beaches, is a popular spot for surfers to show off their skills in the crashing waves.
Watch Sea Turtles from the Lanai: There’s nothing better than watching sea turtles playfully navigate the waves in the Pacific, except maybe watching with a cold drink from the comfort of your private lanai. During the winter months, you might even catch glimpses of whales and dolphins swimming in the blue waters.
Central Location: In one direction, you’ll find the popular Beach House Restaurant. On the other, the Spouting Horn blowhole delights visitors. If you’re looking for shopping options, the Kukui’ula Shopping Village has numerous shops, galleries, and a gourmet farmers market.
Just 30 minutes from the airport, this condo puts you at Kukui’ula Shopping Center’s upscale grocery store, restaurants, shops, galleries, and a weekly farmers market (11-minute walk). Drive to the National Tropical Botanical Gardens and Spouting Horn Park (four minutes) for hiking through native plants and to a stunning waterspout.

Kuhio Shores building has an upcoming Exterior Painting Project that will effect Bookings Reserved during August 2025 - September 2025. The project will start on the Bayside and progress to the ocean front. Scaffolding will be up one section at a time which may impact the view.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice view of ocean
great place exactly as shown good provisions for guests
Lovely condo. We loved watching turtles in the bay from the porch and sunset from the beach access. Highly recommend getting a dinner reservation next door as well. Easy walk to the shopping center about 0.5 mile away.
The condo was comfortable for just the two of us. The location was excellent! It is close to many activities, ocean front with stunning views. The king sized bed was a treat at the end of a busy day. There were a few annoying things, some of which could not be helped. The in unit AC was broken. We were told ahead of time and there were two portable AC units placed inside. They worked well but were quite noisy. The wifi internet repeatedly disconnected. It must be an ongoing problem, as it was mentioned in the things to know notebook. It was a pain! Sure wish the was a washer and dryer in the unit. It cost 12 for two loads of laundry. It would have been greatly appreciated to have a few more things in the kitchen, such as baggies, foil, and maybe a few spices.Even with the annoyances we would stay here again.Aloha!
Great place to stay
Great central location. We enjoyed watching the young surfers who took advantage of a swell. We could hear chairs moving in condo above us. But it was on rare occasions and didn’t bother us. The beach next door is not the best for swimming as there are many rocks. There are lots of beaches nearby. Our favorites, though, were on the north shore. We really enjoyed our stay! Mahalo!
This oceanfront property had everything we needed, and as a bonus we saw turtles right from our balcony.

We love Kuhio Shores and found this unit just perfect. Incredible ocean and cove views from the patio, Sparkling clean theoughout with well stocked kitchen, towels, linens and beach items. The bed was very comfortable. Vacasa was responsive with a minor TV issue.
The property was more than adequate for our 4 day stay. Loved the location!

Our stay at this property was incredible. If you’re looking for a not as commercial/ resort vibe on Kauai, this is your place! We came for the last leg of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The sunrise and sunsets are beautiful, had an amazing snorkeling spot, turtles coming up right outside of our porch, watching surfers every night on the lawn, and the best restaurants in walking distance or just a short drive away. Bed was very comfortable and we slept great, shower wasn’t amazing but it did the job.
My husband and I spent 7 nights. Great location, room was what we expected and clean. Easy walking for shopping and exploring. One of the best!

Nicely furnished, great view and location.
Wish we stayed longer. Well stocked kitchen. Nice bed, kitchen, and shower. Plenty of towels, little cooler, beach chairs, and Tupperware were an huge help! Early morning breakfast watching the waves. It was wonderful.
Beautiful view, nice property, close to Beach House and shopping nearby. We would suggest leaving more basic cooking supplies and spices for guests. (i.e.: foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bags, oil, etc) Comes in handy and guests don't have to go out and purchase whole boxes or bottles) for minimal use. Unit was very clean and comfortable bed, nice to have fans in every room and A/C.
The location was wonderful, the view from the lanai absolutely beautiful.
