Rental Details
Rental Overview
Summary:
Kona is best when you can leave the car alone, and this sixth-floor condo puts the waterfront part of town right outside your plans. The remodeled one-bedroom, one-bath home sleeps up to four with two beds, central air conditioning, a full kitchen with dishwasher, and a private lanai with ocean views. The complex has a shared pool and laundry facilities. Walk to Aliʻi Drive for breakfast, shops, restaurants, and an evening along the water, or head to Kailua Pier for the harbor scene. Kamakahonu Beach is close when a quick ocean stop sounds right, and snorkel and surf spots are within easy reach. It is a smart, central choice for a couple or small family who wants to spend their Kona time walking, eating well, and looking out at the bay.
The Space:
A remodeled sixth-floor interior opens to a private lanai with a broad water view. The one-bedroom, one-bath layout has two beds for up to four guests, plus central air conditioning and a full kitchen with dishwasher. The complex provides laundry facilities and a shared pool, giving you useful options between a downtown walk and a beach outing.
Guest Access:
This Kailua Village Resort condo includes access to the shared pool, elevator, outdoor seating area, and on-site laundry facilities. It also has a private entrance with a lit path and a central Kailua-Kona location near the ocean.
The Neighborhood:
Downtown Kailua-Kona has the convenience many Big Island visitors want: Aliʻi Drive's restaurants and shops, waterfront sunsets, and Kailua Pier all within walking distance. Kamakahonu Beach is close for a quick dip, while a longer beach day can take you south to Magic Sands or Kahaluʻu Beach Park. The harbor area is fun for watching boats come and go, and the central setting keeps dinner plans flexible. Choose this neighborhood if you want Kona's energy close by without making every meal or ocean stop a drive.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Well run.
Unit was close to all amenities in town and easily walkable to restaurants and the ocean (parking is an issue in Kona). Views from the 6th floor were awesome. Had an issue with the coffee maker and they were very quick to remedy the issue. Concrete building so never heard any neighbors. Traffic from Kuakini highway loud at times but tolerable with the windows closed.
We enjoyed our two weeks. Very clean and close to lots of places downtown. Everything was great.
Great location and free parking is especially great with recent changes to downtown parking (all paid parking). Gorgeous sunsets, terrific ocean breeze by day and mountain breeze at night. Well stocked for dining at home or storing and reheating leftovers. I would do this one again
Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the ocean. Well stocked with toiletries. I highly recommend this place.
Our kids had to have a place to stay due to an unexpected illness. Worked out well,
Close to everything and great view of the ocean.
Well appointed, clean and nice view of the ocean. Convenient location. Slight problem getting into the unit, but property management company and owner were very responsive and resolved the problem quickly. I would definitely recommend this property.

Location. Views from the 6th floor.
Perfect location-close to the airport, grocery shopping, and walking distance to downtown Kona. Kitchen was fully equipped, bed was very comfortable. The 10 digit entrance access code rarely opened on the first try, frequently took several attempts.
