Quiet building, conveniently located. Worked out very well for us having been displaced for a week from our residence. Would recommend to island visitors.

Cute place, very continently located. Had everything that you needed for a great trip! Absolutely no complaints. Host was very responsive to any questions regarding instructions or check in. Beautiful view of the beach by the pool! And would recommend Huggos resturant, a hop, skip, and jump from this place. Food here was amazing!

AC was a godsend as it was very hot the few days we stayed. Towels were clean but smelled musty, as did the comforter. There was no soap or shampoo available; not a big deal but the material in the binder indicated they were included. (I don’t want the host to think I took what was there.) I was hoping for a walkable beachfront, but the description wasn’t misleading. I just didn’t think it would be a beach of large rocks. Glad we made it to Kona and had a place, even if the neighborhood wasn’t walkable (no sidewalks, heavy traffic, not near shops).

Great location for 2 nights. Quiet complex with a reserved parking space. Lots of beach gear available to use on a pretty decent sized patio balcony. AC and fan worked well. Hosts were proactively communicative. We were hoping for basic bathroom amenities (shampoo and body soap) but couldn't find any even after asking host. Information in binder may need some updating. Otherwise, a location close to the airport, restaurants, coffee farms, and snorkeling!

We were on the go constantly but the place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but the view from the pool was amazing.

We loved our time here. Complex was peaceful and a perfect place to retreat to after our island explorations. Especially enjoyed early mornings on the lanai drinking coffee before the sun rose over the volcano. Would absolutely recommend. And definitely would stay again.

Amazing location nice and quiet / pool area along the coast was amazing for morning coffee and only a short walk to town where you can burn off some calories from amazing food Kona offers. We enjoyed the studio. Was a graat location for us. Had everything we needed.It was nice and quiet. A little hard to find in the dark, but lived having a saved parking spot.Would definitely stay again if on the island.

Kim and Lake's Kona Condo is a conveniently located in Kona and has all the amenities one can ask for in a trip. They also have great suggestions about local places and restaurants to visit. The condo is fantastically maintained and extremely cute.

Great close proximity to kailua kona. Only downer is the curtains, in my lowly opinion they should be darker, but overall worth every penny for coziness, close proximity to downtown and night life, & checkin/checkout

When searching for a place to stay this studio condo was located close to restaurants and shopping, and was comparatively a good value. It is an older property, but well stocked with beach/snorkeling gear. Unless you like to hangout by the pool, it's not an ocean view. Close to Ali'i Drive, so it can be noisy at times. The owner's are very good at communicating during the booking process and answering any questions that we had.

We had a lovely stay. Convenient location, short walk to the pool with a gorgeous view. Kitchen had everything we needed. We couldn’t see any place that seemed safe to snorkel as the waves were high and it’s rocky in front, but there are a couple of great places nearby. Our visit to the Big Island was filled with adventure and relaxation. The condo was the perfect place to relax after a busy day. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was spacious. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the fresh island breezes flowing through the condo at night. Having a designated parking spot was an added plus. We would definitely sty here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The unit had everything we needed. It was super clean! Kudos to the cleaners. The parking was spacious and conveniently next to the unit. Laundry was easy and noted on the check-in map. Bring your own quarters. Check out the sunsets by the pool area. Location is great and close in town. Condo was as advertised— simple and clean.Sleeping was a problem for three nights because a neighboring air conditioner was annoyingly loud, possibly due to defective bearings in its fan. We really enjoyed the pool by the ocean, as surf was high for snorkeling during our stay.

The property had everything we needed. It was quiet and was in a convenient location. Kim and Lake were timely in their communication with us and were very gracious enough to mail me an item i accidentally left in the unit.

Stayed at Kim & Lake's place for three days in October 2024. They provided us with all the information and were responsive to all our questions. One bonus: the property is across the street from a bike share station which made for easy transport into town. Would definitely stay again!

Loved the space, walkable, and had amazing sunsets

I flew to Kona to do some diving for a few days, this was a great place to stay, near shopping and easy to get to. Everything was as described and the owners were very responsive.

Very clean complex. Close enough to shopping, restaurants, and activities but far enough to be away from the rest of the tourists and resorts. Sunsets at the pool and shore are fantastic.

We would definitely stay here again. It’s was clean, well stocked, great location, and easy access. We are on the go people and it was perfect for this. Quiet complex as well. Price was fair and hosts were great!

Excellent stay, would definitely return

This rental was perfectly located to explore Kona - a very short drive to the touristy area and other amenities, short walk to a beach park, short drive to a much larger beach park, and not much further to the road heading to the south end of the island.

The place was as advertised and had lots of extra amenities. We loved the beach chairs and boogie boards for our beach days. The location is great and walkable to most shops. The host was very quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay here again no problem!

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Location was perfect, totally felt safe as a woman alone (husband wasn't able to make it). Condo was clean and had everything I needed. AC and fan kept it perfectly cool while I was there. It was nice and quiet. 100% happy with my stay there! Highly recommended!

Clean and relaxing with the private lanai. Close enough to everything without being busy or noisy, and convenient to get in and out of. Having assigned parking is great.

We really appreciated how quiet and comfortable the unit was. We slept very well on the bed and enjoyed having a private lanai for morning coffee. We also enjoy cooking breakfast in and loved how stocked the kitchen was with cooking supplies. The location is great!

The property was beautiful. A great central location for my wife and I. We lived on Island for many years and it was so nice to stay so close to so many of our loved ones and yet still close to necessities and play. We enjoyed how quiet the condo is and how much is offered in it. It was very nice to have a full kitchen and all things necessary to cook many of our meals. Such a great trip, and so thankful for this little slice of Heaven. Will definitely be back. Many Mahalos.

Overall it was good to very good. There were a couple of housekeeping/cleanup things that were overlooked but it was still nice. The common areas and parking area was ok, was very nice to have assigned parking! Never had contact nor a phone number for anyone on location so cannot provide comment about check-in or about management, had no issues, so I guess it was good.

Our stay in Kona was great!! Super cozy condo with everything we needed. Loved the view at the pool, and it’s close enough to walk to town. Kim and Lake were very helpful.

We had a lovely, relaxing time staying at the condo in Kona Shores. Waking up in the morning and having our breakfast on the lanai with the adorable geeko’s was great. The bed was comfy, and the condo had all the amenities we needed. The laundry was close by and easy to figure out. It was close enough to downtown to walk but far enough away from the action so it made for a relaxing stay.

Noisy, road is very close, unit downstairs was cutting tile outside most days, dark in daylight, few windows, unit refitted but condo facility is old and a touch rundown..

Condo was nice, updated and clean. Had everything you need for cooking and air conditioning. Pool area off ocean was quiet and relaxing. Easy to trolley, look for signs on side of road. Wish we thought of asking if we could park car in visitor spot when arriving early instead of driving around for 2 hours

Overall I give this condo an 8.5. Pros: close to town, beautiful pool & ocean view when you walk to the water, lots of beach stuff to borrow, some condiments supplied, updated kitchen & bath. Cons: a bit noisy: construction going on all week downstairs, no grab bar in/out of shower which is dangerous since it’s a deep tub. I had to use soap dish to grab on to -bad knee, no bar soap provided & no instructions on how to work TV remotes/cable service.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed all the amenities this condo had to offer. It was conveniently located to many of the attractions we wanted to see and do. Lake and Kim's place had some essential things on the ready that made our trip so fun such as boogie boards, beach chairs, noodles, an umbrella and most importantly a cooler. The bathroom included great shelf space along with hangars for our wet bathing suits to dry. One thing that I know they couldn't have predicted was the remodeling going on in the unit next door pretty much the full week we were there. But all in all it was a nice place to stay and get our R & R after a full day of beach fun. We will definitely come back!

The condo felt more like an apartment compared to all of our time share stays that we’ve had on the islands. With that said, the pool and bbq area was post card worthy at sunset. It’s on the water, and like a lot of the Big Island water is not accessible without risk. Room was clean and had a lot of amenities to cook your own meals. The best part was the location on Ilihi’i Dr. with attractions to your right or left, both with walking distance if you want your steps or a short, but busy drive. I would stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our time at this property. The unit was clean and quiet. The AC worked well and the kitchen was stocked with cooking equipment. We loved the pool. It was clean and beautiful, right along the ocean front. If you are comfortable walking a mile+ to shops and restaurants, the location is excellent. The parking in Kona is a bit crazy, so we chose to walk. We found the trolly system to be unreliable.

Great condo for two people. Very clean, fully stocked, home away from home. Great location for Kona area. We saw humpback whales breach while sitting at the pool. Easy check in. Perfect spot.
