In this beautiful spot at the oceanfront Kona Shores, you'll be minutes from Honl's Beach and the very heart of Kailua-Kona. Enjoy a wealth of nearby shops and restaurants up Ali'i Drive, as well as a community pool and sundeck where you can watch incredible sunsets at the water's edge.
This condo is a simple, comfortable space where you'll enter through a bright living area with a TV. The kitchen is equipped for all your cooking needs, offering white appliances (including a gas stove) and an eat-in dining table. Through the sliding doors, you'll find the sunny bedroom and access to the lanai - a lovely spot to bring your morning coffee, read the newspaper in the island breeze, or play cards after sunset with a cocktail in hand.
Kona Shores offers breathtaking views from the swimming pool and a private ocean gate to our renowned 'One Step,' a naturally occurring ocean access point for snorkelers and scuba divers. You'll be a short walk from the beach and across the street from bike rentals, perfect for visits to Kona Village. The Kona trolley is also available to guests.

Great location!
Overall, we were happy with our stay. The biggest issue was upon arrival...the door was open and ajar. It was quite scary having to go in and look around and make sure there was no intruder hiding anywhere. Towards the end of the stay, we realized that the door would open, even if we typed in slightly different numbers on the code pad...
We enjoyed the convenience of the location near downtown Kailua Kona, and beaches he could walk to. The cooking facilities in the unit were also very nice would allow us to prepare meals for ourselves rather than dining out.
Location was amazing - condo was a bit dated.
The condo was very clean upon my arrival. The location was pretty good, although it faces a street that is very busy during the day and evening but fairly quiet during the night. The AC unit is run on a timer that was not explained very well and blows right in your face when laying in bed. Also, I found the carbon monoxide detector on a shelf in the closet, which is certainly a safety code violation.
We liked the location to the rest of our family We did not like the shower that did not drain so there was always about two inches of standing water in it.
Entry code provided was wrong. Was on hold with Vacasa for an hour before they got us the emergency code for a physical key in the lockbox. It was late at night. We enter and the bathroom is completely Flooded because the toilet tank is broken. Nobody in Vacasa is getting back to us via chat, calls, or emails in a timely manner. We cannot stay here if we cannot use the bathroom. Full refund NOW. Do not rent this place thru Expedia or Vacasa or VRBO or wherever it shows up.
Overall our stay was great. The property manager was prompt to respond to any questions we had. Bring your own coffee and filters.
The place was clean, the location was absolutely perfect! It was a very enjoyable experience. Will absolutely choose again.
