On the grounds of Kona SeaSpray, enjoy access to an outdoor swimming pool and sundeck overlooking the ocean. You'll also be less than a quarter-mile from Kahalu’u Beach Park, under a mile from the Keauhou Shopping Center, and a quick drive from the heart of Kona.
This second-floor condo makes the most of its Big Island setting, with two sets of sliding glass doors connecting to a private lanai. Great location, ample snorkeling equipments available. Place was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.
This condo had everything we needed for our stay, and then some! Very well stocked! We did have issues finding it in the dark as it's not very well lit around there and we had to drive by about 4 times and then we pulled into the wrong parking area. Our son walked around and finally found the parking space and our unit. Lighting on the entire property was lacking. No real lights to walk to the pool and the pool only had one light that was on a timer. Had to bring a flashlight for our son to be able to swim after dark. Not much lighting in the parking area either, and my husband fell over piping after exiting the car the second night in the dark. I do want to say that the host and on-island people were very responsive when we accidently left my son's beach towel in with the other towels and sent it to him (which we did pay for). Also, having the diffusers and other scented items there made for difficulty with breathing for our family members with asthma and allergies. I finally put them in the laundry room and closed the door. This is my reasoning for giving this 4 stars and not 5.
Wonderful, paradise!
Perfect location, comfortable condo, very well stocked with plenty of snorkeling equipment, chairs, beach towels, etc. Couldn't have asked for anything more! We really enjoyed this place. The balcony is excellent for watching surfers in the bay and Kahalu'u Beach is a walkable gem for snorkeling.
We loved pretty much everything about our stay here. The location was perfect. We walked to Kahalu’u Beach and snorkeled many times. There are plenty of beach supplies, including snorkeling equipment for 4+ people, chairs, tons of beach towels, boogie board, umbrella and more. The pool was refreshing and we loved grilling fresh fish from Kona Seafood Market out there. We miss it already.
My kids learned how to surf across the street from this condo! Incredible to be able to watch them from the balcony and pool area. The only way to be in a better location is to rent a place across the street. You are completely in the touristy part of town for good reason. Amazing snorkeling and easy surf. That being said the road is busy. I loved hearing the surf but the traffic noises were less desirable. Overall comfortable place to rent with the family. It was really nice to have ice and a washer and dryer to complete our trip. Hosts were accommodating as well.
We enjoyed this beautiful condo and all it has to offer. Walking distance to fantastic snorkeling, easy drive into town for great food, music and stores, and beautiful pool area are all highlights of our time in this condo. Owners have ample supplies of snorkeling gear, beach chairs, towels, coolers and boogie boards for guests. Property is clean and fresh and very comfortable. Sunsets are spectacular! Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our short stay here! Very thoughtfully provided supplies for the kitchen, bath, laundry and especially the beach closet! The location was very convenient...We really enjoyed being able to walk across the street to swim and snorkel and to travel around the island.
Great location and junping off point to see the big island
This was an excellent location just across the street from surfing and excellent snorkeling. We really enjoyed our time here.
Great location. We enjoyed the sunsets each evening from the balcony. We appreciated that the owners had beach chairs and other beach accessories available for use! The condo is off of Ali'i drive so there is traffic noise, but we expected that from reading other reviews. Also, the bedrooms are towards the back of the condo so you can't hear the road when you sleep. We appreciated having parking and the pool and bbq available! Property managers were very responsive with any questions and when we let them know about a squealing/plumbing issue. We would recommend this location and stay here again!
This apartment was in an excellent location, just south of Kona away from the hustle and bustle. The snorkeling across the street was stellar and pool was nice. Would recommend and come again!
Good location. Clean unit. Lots of beach gear. Solid wi-fi. Nice balcony views.
The condo was very nice. They had everything you could need for a beach vacation. Snorkels, fins, towels, beach chairs, even sun hats. The condo is on a busy street although the street is quiet in the evening. The beach is about a half block away. It is quite rocky but the snorkeling was good. We enjoyed our stay at Sea Spray.

The location is perfect - great views of ocean and sunsets and so close to great snorkeling. Everything that we needed for our stay was provided - loved that snorkeling equipment was available as well as beach towels and chairs. Both beds are very comfortable! Definitely would return. Mahalo!
We loved everything about this please. Highly recommend.
Such a great location for a relaxed, locals-style stay. The kitchen is well equiped and living room furniture is updated from what is in the photo and comfortable. The lanai is good sized and overlooks the north edge of Kahalu'u beach park. There's also a heiau across the street and at the other end of the beach within view. Bedrooms were good sized and towards the back where it's quieter as this building backs into a hillside. There's a small amount of noise in the north bedroom from the stairs but otherwise quiet. Decent amount of beach gear including a cooler, several snorkel masks, towels, etc. Boogie boards were a bit floppy so plan to bring/rent one if this is a must. Not any services right there but there's a shopping plaza with restaurants and a KTA grocery store just a couple of miles down the street and the trolley and bike share are both available across the street.
This unit was exactly as advertised. Very clean and at a convenient location. The kitchen has everything you need to make your own meals. Multiple A/C units as well (although we did not need them). The management company was superb, with great communication and instructions. I was very satisfied and would not hesitate to rent this unit again.
This met our needs. Big enough. Comfy. Adequately stocked kitchen. Clean. Easy access. We didn't spend much time here as we were always out an about but the balcony overlooking the ocean was a nice place for a coffee to start the day and a cocktail to end it. A fair amount of traffic on the road in front, but never a problem or concern.
