True Oceanfront One Bedroom Condo with Amazing View and Great Location

This condo was just as advertised. Quiet, comfortable, and spectacular views. We had everything we needed and our stay was great. Thank you.

We have always enjoyed staying at Kona Reef and have stayed in this unit in the past and many others... love the view and condo the location is prime. This trip however we experienced some roaches, a few the day we got there and a few more during our stay. I understand that it’s a tropical environment however I highly recommend a pest treatment as there is clearly an issue.Again, we love Kona Reef and will be back! Thank you

This is a very clean and tidy condo. It has just enough of everything we needed. The view is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching surfers and the evening sunsets. It's an easy walk into town. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location right on beach. Great place for 2 people. Nice kitchen and comfortable bed.

A great location in walking distance of lots of restaurants and shops. The bedroom is quite bright at night due to lights outside, so we needed sleep masks to sleep. The view from the lanai is beautiful and you can watch the sunset from it.

The condo was well kept. The lanai was amazing. A/C doesn’t reach bedroom well and that room was hot.

Ocean front condo! Enjoyed the lanai. Great views! Kitchen was sparse with dishes and silverware. Could have used a bit more. Everything was clean and worked well.

The condo was nice, but the view of the ocean from the lanai off the living room made it truly special. Having a drink while watching the sunset over the water was absolutely wonderful. Easy walk to everything. Very nice place. Would rent again.

Great location right at the waters edge. We spent late afternoon watching the surfers from the patio. Easy walk to the restaurants and bars in Kona. We enjoyed eating dinner on the patio which is good sized.

The condo was great with the best view you could imagine. Especially liked the very close proximity... walking distance to restaurants, bars and entertainment in Kona. We will be back!!

Beautiful view. Saw whales, dolphins, turtles. Explored the tide pools at low tide. Enjoyed watching the surfers. Great location and everything within a mile of easy walking to shops and restaurants in Kona. Farmers market had lots of fresh ripe fruit. Quiet except for the ocean waves (they were loud). Unit was nice and we had everything we needed.

Property is just as advertised. Right on the water. Beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to many amenities in Kona. Unit is stocked with all you need.

This place is so amazing! The view was spectacular including the gorgeous sunsets AND moonsets. The sound of the ocean lulled us to sleep every night. It’s very centrally located so we were able to see many sites on the island. It had all the amenities we needed and the pool area has several BBQs. My fiancé proposed to me on the lanai just after a beautiful sunset so this with always have a special place in my heart! Can’t wait to come back!!

The condo was perfect for our week visit to the Big Island- convenient to walk to local restaurants and shops but also easy drive to gorgeous beaches, snorkeling and cool hiking. But we found it hard to leave the large, private balcony overlooking the ocean - absolutely the best view we've ever had, just a few feet away! We absolutely loved our stay and can't wait to come back!

mattress is terrible-soft and mushy, needs to be replaced. bedding sheets non cotton material not great. Incredibly cheap to have only 2 SMALL rolls of toilet paper. Check in at 4 PM is kind of late, a bit earlier would be nice.

We walked downtown for lunch, shopping and dinner. Hon'l beach next door is a delight. We took the beach chairs and umbrella to the beach a few times. The kitchen facilities all work great. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the morning and the evening.

The view and the sounds of the ocean can not be beat. The pool area is very nice but could do with more umbrellas. Easy 5 minute walk to town. Mattress is comfortable. The unit could do with some updating and more dishes and cookware. Also the patio furniture is functional but needs new cushions. We did experience a couple of roaches while we were there. I’m assuming this comes with the island experience and there was bug spray available. Overall a relaxing and view filled stay.

The condo is in a great location with beautiful ocean view frontage! But it is not super clean. Look on the ceiling by the air conditioner…you’ll see a ton of dust adhered to the ceiling. The ceiling are a gray colour…that means it’s dirty. The large picture in the bedroom has splatter over it, so does the picture in the dining area. Cupboards are greasy, The condo needs updating! Everything is too old! No ice cube trays in the freezer. The sofa stinks of old. Please take away the old metal hangers in the closet. This condo should not be listed as super clean…thanks. There’s a swifter but no pads so that we can clean up the floors which are dirty.

The condo was marvelous. The view was outstanding. We greatly enjoyed the place. Definitely recommend this property. But, we paid $180 cleaning fee. When we arrived we were told we would be charged a cleaning fee if we did not wash all the towels and put away all washed dishes. There were only four sets of dishes and flatware. We only had four forks. We could not fill the dishwasher because there were not enough dishes to fill it. The books were extremely dusty when we arrived. I was surprised they threated a second cleaning fee. We had to be at the airport at 5:30 and having to put dishes away to avoid further cleaning fees was a bit over the top.

The neighbors are fun at the pool. The parking is great and the spots are huge for any size vehicle. Location is perfect. Ocean view is almost in your living room. The little beach next door is beautiful. The owner is very nice. We will be back. This is the best island.

Absolutely loved the view right on the water from the front deck. Enjoyed the location: such a short walk to Kona town Went to a luau at Royal Kona, which is a short walk from there Enjoyed the unit except the floor was very very dirty.

Everything you can imagine was provided and even some things you couldn’t imagine. I would definitely recommend to all friends and relatives.

Everything was fine except for the lanai furniture and living room furniture are very uncomfortable.

Beautiful location to sit and watch waves come in. Watch whales. Watch surfers.
