It is safe to walk or bike downtown and to the nearby beaches. Although, we recommend renting a car so you can explore the entire beautiful and breathtaking Big Island.
We also have 3 other studios available on the same property, find them on our Airbnb profile :) It is safe to take morning walks in the neighborhood. We recommend renting a vehicle to explore the entire Big Island. There is also Uber, Hele-on Bus, and Kona Trolley.
1. ENFORCED QUIET HOURS ARE 9 PM - 8 AM HST: No loud noise outside these hours. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet hours shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with the residential area. Mahalo.
2. PEST CONTROL: Pest control comes once per month. If the Pest Control Service appointment lands during your reservation, we will let you know beforehand because the technician will need to enter your rental to service. Regular Pest Control services are very common on all the islands. Mahalo
3. LATE CHECKOUTS: Any unauthorized late check-out is subject to a late checkout fee of $100.

I like everything about the studio apartment and it had everything you need, beach, chairs, umbrellas, ice, chest snorkel gear, boogie boards, and had it all
We had a wonderful stay. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was in a great location for our visit. The driveway is steep, but we knew that from the listing. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and overall we had a very positive experience! Thank you!
We unfortunately weren’t in town very long so this place was a perfect stay for us. The amount of space we had was just perfect for what we needed and basic needs were met. The hosts were very responsive. The beach chairs, towels, and umbrella were awesome to have for our own use and we were able to enjoy our time on the beach without worrying about getting sunburnt because we could give ourselves some shade.
If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. My wife and I had such a wonderful time in Yoko and Rocco’s property. They provided excellent and quick communication throughout our stay. Their friendliness and hospitality were super welcoming and made our stay so comfortable. The unit and property is as advertised and even more cozy in person. They had everything you could need and things you totally would forget that you needed. I loved how they had beach equipment we could borrow like chairs/cooler/umbrellas/snorkeling equipment. The welcome binder housed a ton of valuable information about what to do on the island and every food recommendation we tried did not disappoint. It totally made our stay in Kona a memorable one. Great location with many beaches and food options close by. We cannot wait to come back! I would highly recommend Yoko and Rocco’s establishment. Thanks for having us! -Franklin and Nicole
