Located just off the main road around the Island, easy to access for outings anywhere on the west side of the island. The unit came stocked with everything we needed and it was especially helpful to have the beach gear available (a beach umbrella and a couple tennis racquets to use at the on-site tennis court would be thoughtful additions as we didn’t travel with these).

Parking was a small problem due to construction that kept us from parking in our parking slot I had two disabled Seniors that had to walk a distance.

The condo is up higher in the hills and so it’s a bit cooler which actually is nice. The view from the lanai of the ocean is beautiful. It’s generally very peaceful and quiet although we were serenaded by the coqui frogs every night ;) We would say that the condo is fairly dated, but it did not take away from our comfort. We never felt like we were lacking anything within the condo. The extras of boogie boards and snorkel equipment and shampoos and soap and toilet papers, etc.. Very much appreciated. The beds are very comfortable. The pool is very nice. We are a family of four with adult children and we had really a very lovely time on the island with this condo as a well placed homebase. Mahalo.

The apartment is located in a safety area and about 15 minutes drive from Kailua-Kona. Check-in was smooth and easy. One star deduction: the couch was a bit smelly and there was foreign hair in the kitchen and bathroom from time to time. It was very noisy at night due to the birds, which took some getting used to. Nevertheless, we would book the apartment again!

I used to clean houses/condos and apartments even large companies buildings so i know how things should be cleaned when a guest is gonna be staying in a condo. The shower was the first thing i checked when i arrived and it had hair literally all over the place like someone had just showered and shaved in there 5 minutes before i walked in. The shower had water dropplets all over the doors and walls of shower as well as hair. The floor was dirty and not swept or at least not swept well at all. The floor was definelty not mopped and it was very clear the only cleaning done was the bed sheets and barely spot cleaning things with whatever cleaning products were under the sink and paper towels. The toilets were filthy and under our beds had trash and had obviously never been swept or wiped.THE BIGGEST FRUSTRATION OF IT ALL!!!! ( was that who ever “cleaned” our condo before arrival also took the oven cleaner from under the sink and cleaned the whole stove top with this. I dont know who needs to be told this hut your f****** stupid and you cant put oven cleaner on a stove top. The coil burners for the stove would smoke as soon as we turned them on and would prodice the worst smell and vapor. Since we couldnt use the stove top we used the oven that was also cleaned with paper towels. I know it was cleaned with paper towels because i found over 6 little torn pieces of paper towel in the oven which possibkly could have caused a fire if i didnt find them. Over all the condo just needs to actually be cleaned i felt like i was staying in someones house with them living there. I love the complex and the potential for the unit but it has holes in the wall and on the door of bathroom and needs to be cleaned very badly. Also why have a dvd player and no movies

This was a very lovely place to stay at. The kitchen is well equipped, and organized well. The beds, and pillows are comfortable. The property manager texted us when we checked in, and made sure we knew he'd help us with anything. It's also a few minutes walk to Teshima's, which has an amazing Japanese breakfast. It was so good we went back 3 times during our 10 day stay. I am giving a full star off for cleanliness. It was definitely just surface cleaned. There were used towels, and empty drink bottles under one of the beds. Also, some very dry pancake batter on the counter top. After finding the stuff under the bed I was a little less comfortable for the rest of our stay wondering what else hadn't been tended to.

This place was wonderful to stay at during our 2 week vacation to Hawaii. Loved that they had the boogie birds and snorkel equipment for us to use. Also two beach chairs!!
