Pono Kai A-201 Air conditioned, Oceanfront Condo on the Coconut Coast

The unit was very clean. The fully equipped kitchen was great. We loved watching the sunrise over the ocean every morning!

Clean condo with comfortable furniture. The AC and fans helped to regulate the temperature perfectly. The owner provided everything we needed for the beach - that was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful ocean view & location close to shopping & restaurants. Walking distance was nice. Place was clean, organized, & stocked well for what we needed. Plenty of towels etc and loved the natural hygiene products that were here for use. Furniture could be more comfy for those spending more time at the place but would still recommend.

This place is gorgeous! It is just as pictured and described with a couple of bonuses. The condo was spotless, the A/C works great, and the kitchen had everything we needed in it - and we cooked everyday.I really appreciated the ease of communication with Kauai Vacation Rentals. Overall, the condo was wonderful and a great value. We will certainly stay again. Bonus: The main bath closet was stocked with everything we needed for the beach (and more). This saved us time and money from having to rent it elsewhere. When we were there this included beach chairs and mats, sun umbrellas, wagon, bogie boards, and a perfectly-sized small cooler.

Great place, fantastic view. Tons of amenities in the room, including golf clubs. Walking distance to Kapaa for your shopping needs.

Great property. In the middle of the east side of the island the location gives 30-45 minutes drive to the Princeville (north side) of the island or the south side. This unit was very clean. The resort is simple and not grand but relaxing. The view from the balcony and unit is just as it shows in the pictures. The air conditioning worked great. Only downside is while there is laundry it’s not in the unit, there is a shared laundry facility at 1.50 a load and the machines are a little dated. Not a grand resort but the location was great and this unit itself was VERY nice. We will rent again if we have the opportunity to return. Property is on the sunrise side of the island

Check in was easy. Recieved instructions from management company and grabbed pool keys and parking pass from registration desk.

Being on the bike path was a definite plus. For those concerned with too much foot or bike traffic, it's not an issue. This was our 5th time on Kauai but first stay at Pono Kai. Spoiler alert - it won't be our last! This particular unit was very clean, spacious, and has everything you need for your stay. The master bedroom has unforgettable sunrises every morning. Do yourself a favor and don't hesitate to book this unit for your stay!

Amazing location, central to everything on the island. Beautiful place with everything you need for a beach and hiking vacation was supplied.

We enjoyed our stay at Pono Kai A201. This is a recently remodeled two bedroom two bathroom condo. Perfect for our family of four with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The balcony overlooks the ocean as does the master bedroom. And the location of the condo is protected from the high winds in Kapaa. We appreciated the split AC units during the night. Although there aren’t any laundry machines in the unit, they are nearby in the complex.Thank you!

This property was in a good location, on the beach, with a sidewalk along the beach. It was a short walk along the beach walking path to Kapaa restaurants and shops. Safeway was a short drive away, and Kapaa was a central location for exploring the island. The apartment rental was as advertised. Very comfortable. We could see the sun rise every morning from our balcony.

Overall, the condo was very nice and clean. The only exception were the bathroom mats that were dirty. I had to use the towels as floor mats. The condo came with beach chairs, umbrella, towels, and few other items that we didn’t use. The view was nice and right off the boardwalk.

The bike path outside our unit provided a wonderful morning walk. With an ocean front condo we were disappointed with the obscure sliding glass door. We could only enjoy the views when the slider was fully open. Unfortunately we had stromy weather on two of our days and the rains were so strong along with a hole in our porch gutter, our porch flooded and flowed into our living room. Thus we were required to keep our slider close and our beautiful ocean view was completely obscured. What a bummer!
