Of course, One Aloha Shave Ice Co. is a must-visit for something sweet, just three miles from the condo. Kona is also famous for the coffee, so consider heading about 11 miles south to tour farms like Sacred Grounds or the Kona Coffee Living History Farm (the only living history coffee farm in the United States), where tour guides teach guests about Kona coffee in character.

The condo was in a great location and very clean when we arrived. The views are incredible from the living room and main bedroom! We enjoyed our time in Kona and were happy with the condo. The only thing I would suggest is having small AC units in each bedroom, as the living room unit doesn't cool the bedrooms very well. We were quite warm at night, even with the fans running.
Lovely location - great home. The only issue is the neighbors above were super rowdy until very later hours and up very early scraping their chairs before 6 am. Otherwise the home itself and location were awesome
The place was very clean! Right on the water, beautiful view of the waves and sunset! Enjoyed watching the surfers each day on lanai!
We rented three different units for our family birthday vacation. Location was nice to walk/run for morning exercise as well as to walk to nearby farmers markets. Lanai was great to watch whales, turtles, and local surfers. Sleeping with the waves was therapeutic. Lovely island - we will be back to visit.
Great location on the shore. Pool is in the center so not much sun but the beach is great! Beds advertised as queens, but are not - they are smaller. Room was very clean and enjoyable.
We had a fabulous stay! 211 is right by the ocean, and we left the sliding door open whenever we were “home,” enjoying the peaceful sound of the waves breaking. It was close enough to town to have easy access to everything, but far enough that we weren’t overwhelmed by crowds. The beach at the property was fun for tide-pooling (not really a swimming beach), and there were always surfers in the waves just to the south of the property. The laundry machines in the unit were extremely helpful, and the provided beach towels and snorkeling gear were great to have on hand. We would definitely stay here again.
The apartment was roomy, and clean for the most part. There were ants in the kitchen that we had to request spray for, the temperatures were fairly high upper eighty’s while we were there however the air conditioning may as well not been there and leaving windows open for trade winds was just not enough! Other than that comfortable!
We ended up booking this beautiful two bedroom apartment last minute and it was totally worth it. I must say i will miss sipping on my morning coffee on the lanai while listening to the ocean. There was EVERYTHING we needed already in the apartment and it was REALLY clean. We would love to book this room every time we take a trip to Hawaii.
Our stay was wonderful, immaculate Hawaiian style home with all the comforts of our own home. Perfectly located to enjoy Kona area and beyond .
Great lanai and view, wish we could have stayed longer. Heads up, parking is right under the unit so closing car doors or loud engines were a bit obnoxious. But the lapping waves were loud enough to drown most of it out. I would recommend.
We very much enjoyed our stay at Kona Bali Kai #211. We did not miss air conditioning and LOVED sleeping to the sound of the waves. We saw turtle every evening right off our balcony, whales breaching and spinner dolphin playing in the surf. Though the unit is a tad dated everything was very clean and comfortable. we will book this unit again.
