Kolea 6D ~ Ocean View Garden Home

We loved the space and location of this condo with convenience to walk to the pool and beach and even the shops and restaurants. Unfortunately there is a new home being constructed and there is no longer this beautiful view of the water. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need and the property manager was very responsive. Great stay in Kona.

We had six adults, and the condo was the perfect size for our group. It’s in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance to the market, shops, and restaurants. The pool facility was just steps away and offered a stunning view, with the beach located just beyond it.The property was well stocked, and we especially appreciated having beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, and a couple of snorkel sets available. For those traveling with children, there was also a wagon and sand toys. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the lanai and made good use of the BBQ. Located on the bottom floor with direct access to a beautiful lawn was also a bonus.Wendee was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay. While the view of the water is currently partially obstructed by a fence and nearby construction, it didn’t impact our experience. The gym on-site is small and limited to cardio equipment, with no weights available.Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return!

Wonderful condo with great proximity to the pool and beach access

My wife and I have been coming to the Big Island for many years. We have stayed in the Kolea enclave many times before. We really like this locations proximity to the beach, shopping and dining. The condos are super nice and have always been very comfortable for us. 6D was no exception. Thank you for another’s terrific visit.

Lovely resort area. Lots of shopping and restaurants in yhe area. Unit was very nice, but tons of noise from the unit above.

Loved the property and the location. Wendee is super flexible with check in and very responsive and helpful with any questions I had or any issues that came up while at the property. The grounds are well kept and the pool is spectacular! You are steps away from the beach and can watch sunset every night. The condo is fully stocked with everything you need. We will definitely be back!

We had an incredible stay at this VRBO—our own Christmas paradise! The home was spotless, exceptionally comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed for a perfect holiday getaway. The location was ideal, offering stunning ocean views, easy beach access, and a beautiful pool to swim in and relax by. Wendee, the property manager, was fantastic! Always available and quick to respond to our questions. This was truly a magical Hawaiian escape, and we can’t wait to return!

My husband, two children (ages 3 years old and 9 months) really enjoyed our stay at Kolea 6D earlier this month. The condo was beautifully decorated and looked even nicer in person. We loved the indoor/outdoor living space. It is about a 3-minute walk to the pool and a 7-minute walk to closest point in A-Bay. Wendee graciously provided us with a pack-n-play for my son based on my request before arriving. It didn't have a sheet unfortunately, but we found a sheet in one of the cabinets in the laundry room on our last day, of course. The only issue we had was (1) the internet wasn't working (it turned out to be unplugged, but that was an easy fix once I identified the problem), and (2) my daughter caught a bug and vomited was she was taking a nap; we had difficulty finding extra sheets. Although there was a linen closet with extra sheets, the extra sheets for her room was actually in one of the drawers in her room and not in the linen closet. Anyway, overall, we had a wonderful time here. We recommend staying here!

This condo is in a beautiful location with fantastic views and easy access to the beach, pool, and local amenities. The condo itself is spacious, well stocked, and has a great tropical vibe! The host, Wendee, was responsive and even went above and beyond to return an item we left behind.

We absolutely LOVED this rental. It’s huge, comfortable and clean. The views on the porch are better than pictured, and the location can’t be beat. The pool area is stunning and access to A-Bay is so Can’t wait to return one day.

Beautiful place, outstanding location, indoor/outdoor space was ideal for enjoying the ocean breeze. Beautiful sunsets over the bay. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed, anywhere.

What an amazing home! Our family enjoyed the location, views and spaciousness of this rental. It was beyond our expectations. The beach, pool and shopping were all within walking distance. I took early morning walks on the trail along the shore and enjoyed seeing many turtles. Your home had everything we needed including beach and snorkel gear. It was an amazing vacation and our twin HS graduates loved their 8 days on the Big Island. Thank you for a fabulous stay and a vacation we will never forget. We will be returning!

Wendy’s Kolea property is perfection. Everything we wanted or needed was easy to find; the location could not be better; the unit was spotless; and, Wendy was attentive and prompt in answering all queries. Highly recommended unit!

Five of us, all senior citizens, had a lovely week staying at the Kolea Garden View condo. Since the purpose of our trip was for a multi generation, multi continent get-together, we mostly spent our visit eating and talking and this quiet comfortable home was perfect for us. We appreciated the beach club facilities, the well-kept grounds and the convenient shopping plazas and dining options. Wendee was quick to respond to our request to get a malfunctioning microwave oven replaced, and we were only mildly inconvenienced by not being able to get a superfluous nonfunctioning bathroom sink repaired during our stay.

Great venue to informally entertain family and friends during daughter's wedding week.

We were three generations from 2 years old and up. The condo met our needs. The kids had no problems walking to the beach or pool from Kolea 6D. The unit was exactly as advertised. Wendee was a gem, and a pleasure to work with. She was extremely responsive to all our needs. We would come back to this unit.
