This property puts you near the Wed/Sat Farmers Market in Waimea, as well as Pau Pizza and other local restaurants and grocery stores. A twenty minute ride gets you to beaches. Another hour or so puts you in Volcanoes Nst’l Park. This property is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The Hists are always great to work with as well
Unit was comfortable enough, but could use a deep cleaning in areas of less use....thick dust.Ants, ants, ants in the kitchen even after using the insect spray that's under the sink. I may have got most of them.Check out the burners on the stove: front left may need cleaning...My recommendation is to put numbers or letters of the unit folks are renting....too many doors and directions are quite vague.Newer appliances and newer shower are lovely. Great washer/dryer.Been to the Big Island over a dozen times but first STAY in Waimea....but never again: too much rain! LOLMaholaBob and Deb Jozwowski
Property was well located for exploring the upper parts of the island. In Waimea, good proximity to stores and dining. The unit was a comfortable size for 4 adults. Plenty of kitchen staples available.I can’t give an excellent rating because of the sewer gas smell. Immediately noticeable when the entry door is opened.I didn’t contact the host about it while we were there, because suspecting plumbing issues that aren’t an easy fix to be the cause. Other reviews also stated similar issues with the smell. If it was an easy fix I’m sure the owners would have already done it. No amount of air fresheners, ventilation or dehumidifiers can fix this.
Nice place, very quiet and private, great host. Forgot to return keys to the Lockbox. We left them in the unit.
We arrived very late at night and were so grateful to find a clean and well appointed home. Complete with all the items needed for a beautiful stay.
We enjoyed a week visiting with grandchildren! The property is very clean and well-kept. Checking in/out was very easy. I appreciated the WiFi, and my husband appreciated the DirecTV.
Very nice place. Clean and cozy! A lot of amenities that some places don’t have such as snorkeling gear, boards, towels, and beach chairs. The house itself is adorable! We probably would have stayed closer to Kona if we knew the area better but we did love this place.
We were visiting family that lives around the corner and this apartment was perfect for us to spread out and have our own space. It is a very well maintained property. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
This property is located in a quiet neighborhood and not far from beaches. Food stores are also nearby. Property hosts great to deal with and always quick to respond
This property is a good location for getting around the area. We enjoyed the Wed. Farmers Market, Hapuna Beach, coastal drives, and Akaka Falls was beautiful! Mahalo
