This beachfront one-bedroom / one-bath condo in North Kihei, Maui offers a serene and beautiful retreat on Sugar Beach. The unit features quality finishes such as granite countertops, tile flooring, and lovely furniture. Central A/C, a spacious bedroom with a king bed, and a large flat-screen TV ensure comfort and relaxation. The full kitchen allows for meal preparation, and the large lanai provides exceptional views of the surroundings.
Guests can enjoy whale watching in the winter and the sight of outriggers launching from the nearby canoe club year-round. Guests can also partake in unique experiences such as watching the Kihei Canoe Club's practices or races. The Kihei Canoe Club is next door to the resort. Watching the canoes during practices or races is a cool diversion most other resorts can’t offer. On Tuesdays & Thursdays, they offer visitors an opportunity to paddle out with them ($40 donation) so worth it!
The resort itself offers a low-key, authentic experience with convenient amenities including coin-operated laundries. Centrally located in North Kihei, it provides easy access to various attractions and adventures on the island.

Loved having the ocean so close! Watched the sunset from our balcony every night. Beautiful, comfy condo! Maintenance came quickly to switch out blinking kitchen fluorescent. Very nice and helpful staff. Amenities were great. One suggestion we have might be to improve the electrical outlet capacity in the master BR. We each had our own phones and tablets, and one CPAP machine, along with the two bedside lamps, but there is only a single outlet and an old extension chord with bent leads that kept popping out. But everything else was great.
The location is wonderful. The beach is right there and the farmer's market, sweet shop, shave ice and ABC store just across the road.
The condo was fantastic! Can’t beat the views, on the beach and having Sugar Beach Bake Shop across the street seals the deal. Great hosts made for a great time!

There was soft hawaiian music playing on the TV and the view of the ocean from the living space and the lanai are amazing. It was equipped beyond our expections as well and neat and clean. It was a lovely beachfront place to stay on the quieter side of town and a wonderful bakery and shave ice right across the street. No complaints, extremely happy with our stay. Will return as soon as we can!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Oven/Stove did not work correctly. Intermittent problems with burners and heat. Not possible to cook a meal. TV cable had intermittent issues as well. We were advised to "jiggle the wires behind the TV to get it to work. This was totally unsatisfactory. But, we were moved to another comparable unit and all was perfect. Would we recommend Unit 208? Emphatically not. It appeared the upkeep was lacking and there was very little attention to detail before renting the unit. Unit 503 (where we were moved to) was outstanding in every way. Wish we had known all this before booking. We very likely will not be back. So the first two days were dreadful. The second 8 days in a different unit were superb.

Had a fabulous time and such a great property to stay at for our first Maui visit. We will definitely be back!
