Property Overview
Kiahuna Plantation #24 has the best that Poipu Beach offers. Kiahuna Plantation condos have a unique beachfront location in Poipu Beach, making it a favorite for vacationers for decades. The resort is set on 35 lush tropical acres, featuring orchid and cactus gardens as well as luxurious lawns. Unit 24 is located in building 6, with lanai on the great lawn and just steps from the beach. It is a partial ocean view, ground floor, end unit with a level entry. It is well-situated, encouraging the trade winds to flow through the unit. The condo was completely remodeled with an open concept floor plan, tile flooring throughout, and four extra wide louvers on the side walls. The fully-equipped kitchen features granite counter tops. The bathroom has a custom shower with rich tile detail and contains a washer/dryer. There is a King bed in the master bedroom (replaced in late February 2025) and a Queen sofa bed in the living room (replaced in mid-January 2025). There is a built-in entertainment center with a smart TV. BBQ grills are available on the great lawn off the lanai of our unit.
We have an outdoor closet, full of snorkel gear, beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards, lawn games, kids beach toys, and a first aid kit.
Our guests have full access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, which features a pool with water slide and kiddie pool, a spa, tennis and pickle ball courts, a ping pong table, and an open-air restaurant.
Our unit is managed by Castle Resorts & Hotels, with an office adjacent to our building. The office will give you the combination to the unit and a parking sticker. For guests who booked before March 1, 2026 and all guests who stay 7 nights or longer, Castle will collect your check-out cleaning fee of $277 plus taxes. As of March 1, 2026 Castle will collect a daily resort fee of $49 plus taxes for stays less than 7 nights. There is a Castle Reservation Fee (an Administrative Fee on VRBO) of $30 plus taxes that VRBO will collect. You can arrange for a towel change; ask the office for the current fee schedule. In 2025 the Hawaii tourist tax rate was 17.962%. In January 2026, this will increase to 18.712%. For all reservations made this year for 2026 we will have to charge an additional fee of 0.75% for the increased taxes. You can check with the office for other services that might be available. Pack N' Plays are available From Castle for $12/day subject to availability. Let us know of your need when you make your reservation so we can inform Castle. You can also report any problems you might encounter to the Castle office and they will do their best to take care of things. Please let us know about problems as well.

Wonderful location! Corner unit with plenty of windows so you can enjoy the breeze day and night. Large lanai with direct access to the great lawn and beach. Both the king bed in the bedroom and the hideaway bed in the living room were comfortable. Unit was clean, spacious, and nicely updated. Extra bonuses - having a washer/dryer in the unit was awesome and the storage closet outside has SO many beach supplies we didn’t need to rent anything!
The location on the property and in town are perfect for relaxing and getting out and about. This corner unit was airy and private, with just periodic noise from the parking lot.
First time staying in Kiahuna Plantation and it was amazing. Our flight arrived early am and management allowed a very early check-in which was appreciated. The unit itself shows a little wear and tear but everything worked fine and the unit was clean upon arrival. The pullout sofa sleeper seemed new and our 2 kids slept great with no complaints. The master bed was comfortable too. With the ground floor location you may need to put up with some footsteps above, but there is nothing better than having the slider doors open with a beautiful level stretch of grass and a short walk between you and the beach. The location of this unit is great! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!
The grounds of Kiahuna Plantation have never looked better. The buildings in this property are looking tired, but they are so well-located, and very comfortable.

The location is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! So wonderful to not only look out while preparing meals but to walk out and have all the lawn to wander straight to the beach. The utility closet was very handy with many useful items to make our stay easier! Having the W&D in unit is great for quick swimsuit washes!! I feel I need to mention that the pullout bed is in pretty bad shape- more than I feel we were told. Many springs are broken and a lot of the mattress is exposed on the sides due to material damage exposing sharp wires. Also, the oven controls are broken but oven still works fine. Lastly, there were several roaches in the unit - not sure if that’s typical for that location this time of year. However, none of those things made the trip unpleasant as Marie makes so much effort to provide so much in the unit to make it feel like home! Thanks so ki ch for another amazing stay at our favorite Kiahuna Plantation!!! We will be back shortly!

All amenities were covered! Kitchen was well stocked and the recreational closet had everything you could need. Definitely will stay again.

Calm, peaceful, beautiful view, great location, a terrific place to stay.
This property is in a great location but poor condition. The sofa was so dirty I had to put a blanket over it. Kitchen accessories marginal..knife sharpener didn’t work. Stove controls unreadable and dirty. Front of fake drawers fell off, tiles came off edge of wall, bed uncomfortable and giggly, thin sheets. Overall condo needs updated so it isn’t so beat up and dirty looking..
Our stay at this unit was great. The view is spectacular the access to the lawn was so enjoyable. We have stayed in other kiahuna units and this one seemed a bit dated. The bed could use a a pad on it as you could feel the springs. But other then that the location and amenities are great!
