There are only a select few units at Kiahuna Plantation that offer the location, convenience and a full panoramic ocean view like Kiahuna 17 beach house. We are located in building 4.

Don’t pack up and walk to the beach, experience the beauty of Kauai right from the comfort of your own private lanai. Read a book, sip some wine, or just lay back, relax and enjoy the rhythmic sound of the ocean. It doesn't get any better than this.
Sitting on 35 acres of manicured lawns and tropical gardens, Kiahuna delights the senses with fragrant flowers, beautiful lush plants and canopies of trees. An open ocean side lawn is perfect for outdoor games of catch or Frisbee, or lounging in the sun in one of Kiahuna’s complimentary beach chairs.
Step off the lawn to the white sand beach or into the gentle blue waters for a swim. Pick up snorkel gear at the Beach Hut to spy on the tropical fish. The Beach Hut, located adjacent to the Oceanside lawn, also carries cold beverages, sunscreen, light snacks and other rental equipment. The staff at the Beach Hut can book day cruises, snorkel adventures and many other island activities.
Our unit is managed by Castle Resorts & Hotels, with an office adjacent to our building. The office will give you the combination to the unit and a parking sticker. For guests who booked before March 1, 2026 and all guests who stay 7 nights or longer, Castle will collect your check-out cleaning fee of $277 plus taxes. As of March 1, 2026 Castle will collect a daily resort fee of $49 plus taxes for stays less than 7 nights. There is a Castle Reservation Fee (an Administrative Fee on VRBO) of $30 plus taxes that VRBO will collect. You can arrange for a towel change or cleaning; ask the office for the current fee schedule. The Hawaii tourist tax rate 18.712%. You can check with the office for other services that might be available. Pack N' Plays are available From Castle for $12/day subject to availability. Let us know of your need when you make your reservation so we can inform Castle. You can also report any problems you might encounter to the Castle office and they will do their best to take care of things.

Loved staying in this condo, it is so close to the beach! The ocean view from the lanai is spectacular. The condo was clean and has the best stocked kitchen we’ve ever seen. My husband I can’t wait to return!
Great stay at this condo. This was our second time and we love it there. The ocean view and sunsets are beautiful. Easy check-in and out! Property is very nice. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Great beach and beautiful grounds.
We've stayed at the Kiahuna many, many times and never had any issues at all. This experience was different. Unit is in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. Unfortunately, the unit was not in great working condition when we arrived, which was disappointing given the price and the amount of time we needed to invest to get it functional (carpet cleaning took an entire day, wifi took quite a bit of back and forth, etc). Now it should be in good shape for the next guest but I probably wouldn't risk the hassle next time and would choose a different unit.
This is probably our 15th stay at Kiahuna and this unit was wonderful. Close to the beach. Quiet. Comfortable.
The setting was beautiful. However, the accommodations could’ve used some freshening up. The lanai deck was rotted and patched in places and Not very inviting. Modem and internet were not working when we arrived. These had to be replaced. The TV nook for cable box, modem, DVD etc was unaccommodating and did not provide easy access. The lanai also could’ve greatly benefited from a hightop table and chairs because when you’re sitting at the current table or chez lounge your view of the ocean is completely blocked. (They too needed updating in general). Overall, it was nice, but as I said a little freshening would’ve made the environment more inviting. None of this is really a deal breaker, improvement would have been nice. Now ienvironment much more inviting.
This is one of two units that I had rented for the week for our extended family. My husband, adult daughter and I stayed in this unit. We found it clean and well-maintained, with pleasing modern decor. The location was perfect - views of the sunsets from the balconey, plus easy access to the lawn, beach and athletic club. The club is amazing with all that it offered for all ages! Tennis, pickleball, toddler pool, equipment room, towels, rackets, paddles - such a great amenity! Parking was never an issue in front of our unit. The bed and the pull out couch were very comfortable.The washer/dryer was super convenient for our extended family with a toddler. We appreciated that we could wash our towels mid-week.We did not lack anything in the kitchen and appreciated the supply closet of beach umbrella, chairs, even snorkeling gear.The only minor minor issue was that there were a few items, including a pill and a cracker found under the coffee table and couch that were overlooked in the previous clean up.There was no A/C as described, but that was no issue in the winter, plus there was an overhead fan in each room.The dishwasher was not working for our stay, but since we did not cook any main meals, we easily hand washed anything that we used.We had a wonderful stay and would rebook this unit again!
We loved the view and having the beach a few steps away. Barbeques are close by and the condo is walking distance to very good restaurants.
The property was well stocked, comfortable, close to the beach and everything we expected. We would stay there again. The owner was very responsive to our questions and needs.
Kiahuna Plantation is the perfect spot for a Kauai vacay; the beach is beautiful with good snorkeling and plenty of space on the sand. The condo is well-equipped with everything you need from a fully equipped kitchen to all the beach essentials: chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. Beach towels are available at the Beach Hut on property. The bed is very comfy. We were concerned that the condo would be a little cramped based on the pictures, but it is much more spacious than the pictures show. The bedroom has a spacious closet and there’s plenty of storage space in the kitchen. The lanai is furnished with a table and 4 chairs in addition to two loungers. Beautiful view of the ocean! The only downside to this rental is no a/c. It gets very warm in the afternoon in July; there is a ceiling fan in the living area and bedroom. The bedroom is comfortable at night with the fan over the bed; the kitchen/living space is much warmer since the condo faces west. There is always a lovely breeze so that helps. A beautifully landscaped property has a huge lawn for games, BBQing, or just sunbathing. Kiahuna Plantation is a gem and serves as a good home-base for westward activities (Waimea Canyon, Hanapepe, etc) and northern activities (Hanalei, NaPali coast, Wailua, Kilauea, helicopter tours).
Best ever location/property we have stayed when visiting Kauai. Amazing views, great location, and beautiful condominium! Thank you Jill. We look forward to returning!
We loved this property. We have stayed at multiple units and this by far was the best one yet. It was a plus to have laundry and a he bed was so comfortable. We will for sure rent from Jill again.
