We had a lovely visit for >2 weeks. The condo is very spacious and has a large lanai with nearly 180 degrees of ocean view and a front seat to the 9th tee of the Kona County club course. I love to cook, and we never ate out as the kitchen is well provisioned with utensils, appliances and many non-perishables. Bed was comfortable - nice to have a King - as was living room furniture. Great WiFi. Relaxing pool. Close to shopping and easy drive to many beaches. Kailua is 10-15 minutes away. Condo is on the third floor, so I can understand some might have trouble with the stairs. We would highly recommend and look forward to staying here again!
This is a very well equipped condo - even provides beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umbrella, and coolers. The unit was very stuffy upon entering and without AC, so we purchased and left there, two box fans which helped keep the condo cooler. The shower in the second bathroom, when water turned on, made a very loud whistling sound which increased over the week, becoming beyond annoying. Please attend to that. Other than that, it has a fabulous view from the lanai, is a good location for day trips, and set up well for cooking in. We would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay. Location was convenient to Alii commercial activities and nice beaches, while tucked away quietly. Wished there was info on the building not having an elevator. Logging luggage up and daily climb (2 or 3 times a day) to 6 sets of stairs up to 3rd floor with bad knees was not fun. I would have not chosen the condo had there been info that us was not accessible by elevator.
