Beach Front Ocean View Penthouse Kealia Resort Condo - Sugar Beach

Everything in the unit was as advertised, the patio with partial view of ocean, sunsets and palms made it special. Smaller facility made it convenient for accessing beach and parking. Communication with owner good. Note that you do hear ocean even with doors closed. Very pleased we selected this unit.

While the cinder block exterior did not evoke a feeling of luxury, the interior was clean, had all the needed amenities, and was wholly sufficient. Host was attentive and responsive.

This is a beautiful condo in a convenient location. The king bed was comfortable, kitchen was well-supplied, and it was so helpful to have a stackable washer/dryer in the unit. I enjoyed reading on the 'couch' on the balcony while watching and listening to the ocean. We would stay here again.

Beautiful views and excellent location. The condo was also very well supplied with beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.

Awesome!Everything about this place was great! Lydia has thoughtfully created a space with all that we needed for our visit to include items/amenities in the unit & grounds. Beach chairs, towels and even an ice chest to borrow! Parking is very convenient. Location great. Place is very clean and is well represented by the pictures - especially the view! Lydia was responsive and when i contacted her about a hair dryer not working - she made sure i had one within the next 24 hrs even though i told her i could do without. I would stay here again with out question!! Thank you lydia

Excellent view from top floor compact condo that has clothes washer-dryer, very comfortable bed, small kitchen, and new appliances. Relatively secluded and well-maintained quiet grounds. Enjoyed the use of good quality lounge chairs for laying out in sun next to beach. Lovely sandy beach good for swimming but not much to see snorkeling. Spectacular sunsets from lanai, morning coffee and meals on lanai also wonderful.

The ocean view from the balcony and the bedroom was spectacular. The unit has an AC in the living room and bedroom which made it nice to run only one when needed. Very clean and comfortable. The host was very responsive with great communication. We travel to Maui frequently and this is one of our favorite stays and we will be back!

Cannot say enough good things about this property. Perfectly location to everything on the island. Excellent amenities that we used and really appreciated! The direct access to the beach was so nice and perfect for beach walks! The view was stunning. Would definitely stay here again.

Got up early each morning and sat on the balcony watching and listening to the waves. It was so relaxing.

A perfect fit for my husband and I. The condo itself offers stunning views and direct access to the beach and pool. The check in and general communication was always responsive and hospitable. It was a comfy little home away from home - would highly recommend!

It has a wall on one side of the beach. Had a great ocean view from the balcony. Kitchen was well stocked and owner was very friendly and communicated very well. Would recommend to someone looking to be on the beach.

The ocean was visible from our balcony; the air conditioning was lovely, helping with the humidity from outside - the beach was beautiful along with the sunsets; ghost crabs scattered at dusk

Very well stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, kitchen supplies, beach umbrella, etc.Very clean. Small but pleasant porch. Next door is an outrigger canoe group. We are kayakers and enjoyed trying an authentic Maui activity where we learned, not only to paddle, but some chants and local history. An unexpected highlight of our visit to Maui!

If you need a centrally located place to stay on Maui without paying resort prices, this is a great option. After a few nights in Wailea, my wife and I stayed here for two nights so that we were near the harbor that our Molokini Crater boat tour departed from (7min away) and so we had quicker access to the west side of the island. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and had great views. It even had with several little things that were a big help mid-trip: beach chairs, laundry pods, and kitchen utensils/plates/cups.The host Lydia was very communicative from booking to check out, providing extensive directions and quick responses that made the stay seamless. Thank you!

This was our second stay at this condo. We had a wonderful experience again! It was the perfect home base for our stay. Centrally located with dining and shops within easy driving distance. The views were incredible! We highly recommend!

Beautiful property that met our needs well. Amazing view. The host was awesome and responsive and made the stay particularly nice. Only criticism - there is sometimes a mild fishy odor from adjacent property. Not offensive to us, but definitely noticed it on occasion depending on wind conditions.

Exactly as advertised! Very convenient & host was really easy to communicate with. Space was well equipped & very comfortable. Views were just gorgeous!

We’re very happy with this condo. The location is convenient and makes it easy to explore Maui in all directions. The sound of the ocean and view from the deck were excellent. The condo was very clean and exactly as described. We would definitely stay here again. Outrigger canoeing and paddle boarding are within a short walk down the beach.

We came to Maui for our daughter’s wedding and after a wonderful weekend In Kaanapali we thought staying in a different location on island would be nice. The condo was perfect, loved the view and we were right on the ocean. Lydia was a great host and I would recommend this place to any couple

This is a sweet space that offers a clean, quiet and welcoming home away from home. Our favorites…the kitchen, lanai, beach front, walking to the bake shop, central to everything, clean linens and the incredible communication with the owner. We will return!

It is right on the beach, the views from the balcony and windows are priceless. The Kelia property is a little older but kept up nicely. This condo is nicely decorated, clean, cute, and comfy. Lydia is very responsive and accommodating. We rented a jeep (which we highly recommend if exploring the island) and she gives you a dedicated parking spot! My husband & I had the most amazing vacation in Maui celebrating our anniversary and birthdays. Mahalo

We were totally pleased with the entire process of booking, checking in, staying, and departure of Lydia's property. The ocean view is spectacular and her condo has a warm, homey feel to it. Our light arrived early and she was even able to get us checked in before the normal time. The full kitchen and washer/dryer were a huge benefit after 10 days on other Hawaiian islands. We definitely can recommend this condo to others looking for Maui accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay at this apt. We especially appreciated the really nice and helpful gear provided. The snorkeling gear was awesome, the beach chairs and cooler and towels and shopping bags were also super helpful. The travel guide books were super helpful and appreciated. The apt was easy to access and a perfect home base for exploring. It is in a quiet spot, so you have to drive to most restaurants etc.

Overall the condo was fantastic and Lydia was very communicative and responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

This property is in a great location central to everything in Maui. So close to the airport, south Maui and West Maui and the primary harbor for taking whale watching and other cruises is 10 minutes away. The beach right outside the condo will take you for miles with very few people as there are no hotels, etcsince you are in north Kehei away from all the big hotels and resorts. Your view from the balcony is wonderful and you will have the best seat in the house for beautiful sunsets. There was only one negative for me and that was there is a lot of road noise as a major road is nearby. The waves from the ocean drowns out most of the noise but I am sensitive to road noise. However I would stay here again as Lydia is s wonderful host and very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kealia, especially relaxing on the balcony and watching whales, seals, outriggers, foil surfers etc. We loved walking on the long sandy beach every day too. And the location is perfect to easily get to other parts of Maui

Our first two nights in Maui prior to a week with six other adults. Great owner communication, beautiful property, but not walking distance to much except the ABC store.

Exactly the spot we needed. Perfect locstion, sunsets were beautiful. Condo clean, updated and quiet. Host was reaponsive. Will def ataybhere again

Lydia’s place was wonderful. We loved the view, the vacation vibes and lovely apartment, terrific communication with host. Hearing and seeing the crashing waves from the balcony was magical and the location perfect for staying put or venturing out. Mahalo!

This property is so convenient for everything. Feels like a private beach. Everything the host has listed is spot on! We love the coziness, listening to the waves crash at night, the wildlife and roosters from the nearby wildlife refuge… We found this time that we could walk the beach to a farmer’s market, ABC store, and a little further for more things. Short drive to Maui Aquarium and Tante’s restaurant…and to the heart of Kihei, Kihei Caffe (must have coconut/pineapple/banana/macadamia nut pancakes), and Coconut's for the best island fish tacos. Thank you, Lydia, for being flexible with check in and so helpful. Until we stay again…

We LOVED this spot! The pictures are spot on, we practically lived out on this balcony and on this beach. The location is great and around tons of other beaches and great food spots and shave ice as well. We traveled around to the other beaches but there was kind of no point because this beach was so quiet and private and even shaded in spots do you dont need an umbrella. I swam multiple times here because the waters were so warm and inviting. I've already recommended this condo to multiple friends and family.

My mom and I stayed here as a much needed respite from my father’s passing. The condo was everything we needed, well appointed and very clean. The property is perfectly situated not far from the heart of Kihei, which is very cute with lots of good restaurants and food trucks. The best part here though was the stunning views of the ocean from the lanai, sound of the waves lulling you to sleep and direct sugar beach access. There’s also a lovely pool on-site as well. Lydia was very helpful in calling to warn us of a minor flying insect issue caused by the weather and offered to have cleaners come, we appreciated her attentiveness.

This was a relaxing getaway. It felt very private. Beautiful view and came with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. 💕

Exactly as pictured. Lydia was amazingly responsive when we had a small issue with the beach umbrella. They thought of everything. Can't say enough about the sound of waves throughout the day and beautiful sunsets. Would stay here again!

Condo was super clean and comfy. Felt just like home. Had laundry which was helpful to have as well as many amenities. Property manager was very quick to answer questions and help out as needed. We really liked the location as it was close to many popular area beaches and the beach in front of condo was good for beach walks & whale watching. We didn't swim or sit on this beach much as it was quite narrow. The outdoor balcony was awesome for sunsets and for morning breakfast. Close to airport ~15 minutes and very central to both south and west Maui. Lot of great spots. We would definitely stay here again.

This property has an amazing view of the ocean and beach. Very clean, comfortable sleeping area and nice kitchen to cook a meal in. I would highly recommend this ocean front unit for your upcoming visit to Maui. Great customer experience with booking and property manager. What an amazing, relaxing getaway. Just what we wanted. Perfect location, centrally located, everything close by! No crowds on this part of the beach…views from the lanai were perfect, including NYE fireworks! The best part was opening the windows at night and being lulled to sleep by the waves crashing and hearing roosters crowing in the morning. The property had everything we needed and then some… bed was so comfortable. Having the outdoor gear was a bonus… we loved boogie boarding in the evening just steps away from the property. Our host was responsive, attended to our questions immediately. All we could ask for. Thank you!!! We will be back!
