This was a great place to stay! A well stocked kitchen, everything you need for the water (boogie boards, snorkels, flippers, cooler, chairs, and towels). And to top it off the views were amazing ! Great VRBO!

The views from this condo were fantastic! The kitchen was very user friendly. The location was wonderful for getting to the beautiful north shore beaches and Hanalei easily. Great running trail close by. We’d definitely like to stay there again!

We just concluded a fantastic stay at Ali’i Kai 14G. You get what you pay for here, and I mean that in the most complimentary of ways. The top five features for me at this unit were 1) the ability to have both mountain and sea views (sea and swaying palm tree views are on the lanai);2) the well-written, thoughtful and extensive instructions and recommendations that were provided to us beforehand— Very Much Appreciated; 3) the sense of peace and quiet throughout the complex, no matter the hour;4) the pool area! Nice clean water and not-too-hot hot tub; 5) access to the unbelievably beautiful Hideaways Beach and turtle cove.(Bonus #6: having two beds in the second bedroom. This is surprisingly difficult to find) The outstanding reviews this condo has earned are well-deserved! We definitely hope to be back within a couple of years! Our family had an amazing experience at this beautiful condo. It is well-equipped for a family. Incredible views and ambiance. Clean, well-organized, and so cute! The three of us, me, my spouse, and my 23 year old daughter stayed in this condo for roughly a week while on vacation in Kauai. Kauai was beautiful and our lodging allowed us to maximize the enjoyment of our stay. The place was the perfect size, it was cozy and home-y, every thing was very comfortable. At first we didn't know that there was no a/c, but we don't have any at home in Michigan either (which is common for older, non-updated houses) so we knew to open the windows to get fresh air. We got there very late at night, and we were exhaustedfrom travel, so we figured we'd figure out the a/c in the morning. Well, we finally realized the next day that there was no a/c, or HVAC of any kind, I was really surprised because the complex and neighborhood look to be built in the time frame that, in the Mid-West, would have had central air in every unit. Well, since we were seasoned no central air people, we were able to accept the lack of a/c as part of life. The breeze from the open windows and ceiling fans was more than sufficient to keep us cool when we were in the unit, even at night sleeping. Slept great! Probably better than if there was a/c.The host has guidebooks and other types of material on the coffee table and let me tell you, I took full advantage of the reading material. I actually lost my phone the second day we were there--not in the unit, but on a public beach. I never recovered it while we were there, so I READ BOOKS. A last word--the water pressure is AWESOME.

Some friends and I stayed here with a plan to be outside exploring the island during the days. We basically just wanted somewhere to sleep peacefully, shower, and eat. This place more than exceeded that. They provided many towels, boogie boards, and some other outdoor stuff. The resort is super quiet. Some reviews complained about noisy roosters. You can definitely hear them pretty much 24/7 but it's not that bad. Get yourself tired on the beach and sleep will not be an issue. Overall, great experience. Host communicated when necessary, and wasn't pushy or annoying like hosts I've had in the past. Easy check-in and check-out process. Would recommend

Amazing view of the mountains from the bed was my favorite thing about this unit! Everything was very clean and it was nice to have a fan when the sun got intense in the afternoon. We enjoyed staying here and would highly recommend this rental.

Every space is full of something - a knickknack or household items leaving NO PLACE to put the things you want to unpack. Eg.The closet is 2/3 full of bedding leaving little space to hang clothing, the dresser top is cluttered with pretty ocean-themed knickknacks. Every cupboard is full. The unit needs a deep clean - cupboard doors are sticky. Lightbulbs were burned out - we had one of four bulbs above the dining table not burnt out. The main area heats up (we were there in December) because the large window in the dining room has no blinds to keep out the heat and it faces the sun. It looks like there were blinds at one time, but are not there now. Location is great & view is lovely otherwise.

The condo has good facilities and is quite spacious. It was great to see the turtles in the cave so close to the condo. We celebrated Christmas there and found plenty of kitchenware for cooking and serving needed. The main bed was comfortable but the second bedroom and sofa bed mattresses could do with updating.

The stay was ok, the bedding (mattresses) need to be replaced as they are all old and very uncomfortable. Furniture in the living room is also wore done. Window sills in 2nd bedroom has mold on the frames. The shower's were good, and there is plenty of towels. the place was clean overall though. We had plenty of hot water, the dish washer did not clean the dishes as it needs to be replaced. The roosters/chickens outside the complex were so loud, had to sleep with ear plugs every night. For the amount of money it costs to rent the place, we won't go back. They host was accommodating and let us check out later, we appreciated that very much and the host provided good information about the island also.

Loved our stay here with family. The condo was centrally located to all we wished to see and visit. We were happy to have access to beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boards and more. Loved the pool to swim in at the end of the day. I highly recommend this condo.

We really enjoyed the stay here. Easy process and excellent place. The location is beautiful, pool is great, and access to everything is easy. The place is colorful and the kitchen is very handy for company. We had family staying close by during our stay and we liked our place best.

The property was perfect in our estimation. It had all the amenities my family could want or need and was beautifully decorated. The location was ideal with incredible views from both the front and back sides. It was rather hot when we first arrived and there is no AC, but the cross breeze from open windows and the many ceiling fans made it quite comfortable throughout our stay. Our host also provided helpful recommendations for beaches, snorkeling, restaurants, etc, It was a lovely condo and relaxing vacation.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Eric’s beautiful home on Kaui. In the front of the property you have the stunning view of the ocean and in the master bedroom you have a beautiful view of the rainforest and mountain. Very peaceful and prefect place to get a way on a quiet vacation with your loved ones.Eric is a very gracious and generous host, answering every question and fulfilling every need. We will definitely love to come back again.

As a fellow Vrbo Owner, I would like to be able to recommend this property, but for us the bad outweighed the good. Ok communication up to the point of second payment (welcome guide), then nothing. No response to my emails on recommendations, no response to my emails when power went out. I’ll stop here. It was a crash pad for our family each night in between day trips to different parts of the island. This place has one thing going for it: location.

We had a wonderful time at the condo in Princeville. This location provides views of Kauai that are incredible. The mountains on one side if you prefer breakfast at the dining room table or the ocean if you prefer the lanai. The combined pool, hot tub, kids pool and grilling area are awesome. Cook while the family enjoys these amenities along with many seats and umbrellas to sit under. A nice, covered space with tables, chairs and a counter for preparing and eating meals outside in this area as well. Princeville is like its own little town with a plaza out front for shopping of all kinds. Many areas to walk and ride bikes. Close to the beautiful Hanalei Bay and so many other beaches as well. Our 11-day stay was made just glorious at Eric's place. Pictures don't do justice to just how beautiful it is at the condo and surrounding area. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We loved this lovely 2BR/2Bath! Extraordinary view from master bedroom and kitchen/dining area. Very clean! Easy drive to Hanalei, Kilauea, and Kapaa. Excellent communication by Eric and lots of recommendations for activities, etc. Lots of games, books, and beach / snorkel needs. Loved Scrabble, Monopoly, and soft beach towels. Excellent washer machine and dryer. All the needs within a full equipped kitchen. We loved our time there. Turtle Cove was a bit more challenging as we went closer to high tide, and definitely needed either water shoes or TEVAs vs. just hiking boots to get down trail. The cave is lined with harsh sand and broken shells. Need footwear. Still loved everything about our stay! Would recommend highly!

Beautiful, just as depicted on-line. Comfortable for four adults. The Area was beautiful, location great, and pool and hot tub fantastic and very uncrowded, but this was May. I would return over and over, should I come back to Hawaii.

We stayed at four different locations during our island hopping and this location was tops. Awesome views, clean and had everything we needed! Especially appreciated the owner’s recommendations he has prepared and the turtle cove adventure right outside the condo! Highly recommend!

The location is great, it feels private, but you’re only 10-15 mins from both Anini and Hanalei. The condo was super clean with a great open floor plan and updated fully-stocked kitchen. We loved that it came with beach equipment (ice chest, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, boogie boards), which we used on a daily basis. The view of the jungle and mountains from the dining room is breathtakingly beautiful, which made me feel like I didn’t need to constantly rush out of the condo to experience the island, I could experience it even as I drank my morning coffee. The hosts gave us some great recommendations, and even checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. Their communication was unmatched, and I’ve stayed in many private vacation rentals over the last 30 years.

This property was in a great location for our family. Princeville is a beautiful area, the grounds, walk paths, pool area are all great amenities to this property. Turtle Cove was a great bonus! As for the condo... it was ok. It was dirty with dead bugs, window screens were busted or rotted out which lead to the little lizards in the condo every morning. Lizard poo on window sills, walls, wood work. Dirty dishes, dirty dishwasher, no ice maker, the blinds were broken in the master bedroom (used a bungee cord to open them, we were inform of this before arrival), so much bulky furniture in master suite it was hard to move around. Closets were so full of stuff there was no room to tuck your luggage in them. So much knick knacky stuff it was so cluttered. It was just ok.

This is a spotless condo In beautiful surroundings. The views from the dining room are breathtaking. The condo has been nicely renovated by the owners and you can tell that they regularly take care of the property and spend time there. It also has many amenities like beach chairs, boards and much more. Don't look any further. This is the place to spend wonderful days around Princeville.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was beautiful, clean and it was furnished with many nice and beachy themed items. Princeville area offers a lot to see and we aways found something different to do during our stay. I would definitely rent again.

This is our 4th visit to Kauai and each time we've stayed in an Ali'i Kai condo. Of the four we've had, this was the best. Very well appointed, very comfortable, and very homey. The neighborhood is quiet, as are the neighbors. Parking is convenient. And the condo is only a short drive to Hanalei and its gorgeous beach. We did have a slight glitch with the wi-fi upon arrival, but after messaging the owner and getting a very prompt response, things got resolved. (It was unplugged!) We'd definitely stay here again in a heartbeat.
