Oceanfront on Kauai starting at $140/night!

Luke was great host. He kept us informed along the whole process. Guving tip on the area which was very much appreciated. The condo was clean and as described.

Good location, close to the main road but just far enough away to avoid most of the noise. Onsite community has great amenities - pool, grills and rinse station. Easily walkable to restaurants and shops. Killer view with the lanai. The unit came with activity gear that covers most of what you will want to do on the island. Host was very responsive and provided detailed instructions. Now the downsides, the unit especially the bathroom needs quite a bit of TLC. There was also a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen area. Mattress was on the hard side and bouncy, and the AC made loud screeching noises every so often when you run it. So in terms of what you pay for it, it might be what you could expect.

It’s a condo by the ocean, that’s what you’re paying for. Needs to be seriously updated. All the floors in the kitchen are warping. The bed feels like a prison mattress. My wife and I had to take turns sleeping on the couch. The towels need to be updated. The pillows need to be updated. Cooking utensils, pans, etc. minimal and old at best. This review is in comparison to an identical unit, in the same condo, in conjunction with the same stay. It was above and beyond with amenities, comfortable bed, cookware, etc. compared with this unit. It was also closer to the street which we were concerned about, but actually provided a better view. The headlights did not come directly at us every time we looked at the ocean due to how this unit is positioned.

Great location, loved being close to Coconut Marketplace, loved seeing the ocean so close every day. Unit was clean and comfortable. Everything as advertised, except price…definitely worth it.

Spotlessly clean, beautiful view, super responsive hosts, and a short walk from the baby beach by lava lava beach club! Could not have asked for a better way to start our vacation!

We enjoyed our stay. We loved being right on the ocean with the pool right out the back door. We saw spinner dolphins one morning from our lanai. The condo was clean and we loved the location. If your looking for view and location and cleanliness this is the place to stay. If your looking for lavish and top of the line you would be disappointed but luckily that's not us so this was perfect. I definitely can see us staying here again if someday we make it back to Kauai.

Walked into a beautiful view of the ocean. Listened to the waves all night. Location was great. Was nearby many activities, shopping and eating. Room was clean, and very comfortable. Pool was nice too. Loved it!

The view was awesome and the place was exactly as described. Great communication before the trip made check in so simple. Great location for ready access to north and south areas. Good restaurants within walking distance. Pool was very refreshing after s long day at the beach. Would highly recommend. We had a great time.

The location was excellent but the unit needs to be updated. The linoleum was torn in the kitchen and the cabinets (particularly the doors) were in disrepair.

This was exactly as described and not updated which was nice for the value to save on basic instead of esthetic. Amenities are excellent. Very close to Lydgate beach which has a inclosed area for beginner snorkerlers. My 7 and 9 year old learned how to snorkel and see all the fish. It was safe and extremely wonderful. The missionary church in Kapaa is very friendly and great sermon on Sundays at 9am. They live aloha.

The place is a bit dated (but that’s ok, I already knew that by reading reviews. The area rug in living room is a tripping hazard

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was in a great location with a fantastic view of the bay. There was a breakfast cafe, and a couple of good places to eat a few minutes walk away and Kapaa with shops and restaurants a short drive away. Luke & Kristi were great hosts - very responsive when we had questions. The condo was clean, the bed was very comfortable, the aircon in the bedroom worked well (although we barely used it in Feb) the washer and dryer were brand new, and the kitchen appliances all worked well. Beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, boogie boards and so on were provided by the hosts. We were very happy with our choice and would happily stay here again.

Yeah it may be a little 70’s style, but that’s why we loved it :) For the price you cannot beat the view. Host Luke was awesome and responded to questions and such. Good location with a lot of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Thanks for having us!

This place was exactly as advertised! The host has thought of everything. Kitchen was well equipped. And extras like binoculars provided. Also beach chairs, etc!! The best part is the lanai! We watched whales one morning and surfers the rest. The location is great too. Central on Kauai to go north or south. We enjoyed our stay very much!!

Concerns: the rug in the living has severe buckles (a trip hazard as we found out!); one kitchen cabinet above range broken nearly hitting me on head; safe in bedroom locked-sent two messages to owner and never received reply; no stopper in bath tub; light on oven range did not work; dried mildewed pillow cases found in washer-had to rewash, dry, and put away; the apartment needs a deep cleaning especially under bed, nightstand, and lamps; middle closet door bedroom inoperable.messages to

Well really enjoyed our 1st visit to Kauai. The condo was in the perfect spot on the island. Also the condo was very nice and absolutely met our needs. We'll be renting from Luke again and hopefully this specific unit. Mahalo

The condo was perfect. Location was easy to get to everything we wanted to see. The balcony view was beautiful. We would stay here again. The owners were very responsive to all our questions and their suggestions on what to see, recommendations for where to eat!

Everything was great except I had to spend over an hour trying to get the TV to work.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful place. We loved waking up early drinking coffee and watching the sunrise over the ocean. Luke was a great host, my wife left her debit card and Luke mailed it home! We will definitely be back. Thank you Luke looking forward to our future adventures in your place!

The condo was dated, but overall we enjoyed our stay. Luke did tell me the condo is scheduled for renovation next spring. The air conditioning was great in the bedroom but the rest of the condo was very hot. The windows on the front door didn’t open so we couldn’t get a cross breeze to cool things off. I appreciate having beach towels and an umbrella provided. This condo works well if you plan to spend your days exploring the island rather than staying inside.

The property is tired, needs some updating. The area rug on the worn out carpet is a tripping hazard for older people. The bedroom is nice, very comfy bed. I cleaned the coffee pot so I could use it. A replacement is needed. I also cleaned the filter in the dishwasher so it could actually clean the dishes. The location close to the Coconut shopping center was great. The condo is in a very good location for traveling around the island. It was so great to see the beautiful sunrises every morning while having coffee on the lanai.

We absolutely loved out stay! The location can't be beat! We were centrally located on the island and right across the street from some wonderful food options. The view was outstanding! We loved just sitting on the lanai and watching the ocean waves. The pool was very convenient and parking was easy. Plenty of room for us and we were able to easily prepare meals with ingredients from some of the many farmers' markets on the island. Absolutely loved having a full size washer and dryer! The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner kept us cool while we slept. This was definitely a great deal and we're glad we booked this property!

The property was more than we expected. Great middle ground for anything you want to do in Kauai. It was private and quiet, just what we needed. The unit is a great location. The deck view is amazing. Watched the ocean as we ate our meals. Pool was fabulous. We will be returning !

Perfect east shore location to easily get around the whole island. The view and sound of the waves from the lanai was incredible. Loved having my coffee out there every morning. The condo was comfortable and exactly as described. Comfy king size bed in the bedroom and everything we needed in the kitchen. Our 14 year old slept on the sofa bed in the living room and said it was comfortable. Luke was a wonderful host. Great recommendations for what to do on the island and a good communicator. Greatly appreciated the chest full of beach items in the lanai chest: snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. The washer/dryer in the unit was also super handy. I talked to my Hawai'i-based friends, and they could not believe the price we got on this unit. It almost made me not want to write this review, so we won't have to compete with oth ers for a future reservation! Ha! But, I couldn't do it. This is too good of a deal not to share. There are several wonderful dining options within walking distance too: Lotus Ramen and Hibachi, Passion Bakery, Russel's Vegan Restaurant, and Napali Brewery. Short drive to Kapa'a Town with tons of shopping and dining options. So many great snorkel spots, hikes, and waterfalls nearby. You can’t beat the location of this property. Sitting on our lanai in the morning and evening and watching the waves roll in was so relaxing! The grounds are amazing, as is the pool. The landscaping was beautiful and very well maintained. We had the gorgeous pool to ourselves every evening. The actual unit is a little dated, but it was clean and had everything you could need, including beach towels and snorkel equipment. Lots of little extras that made it very comfortable. The air conditioner died during the night the first night we were there. The owner had a brand new one installed next day - on a Sunday! Communication with the owner was great, very responsive. We would stay here again - and probably will when we bring our next grandchild!

We stayed here for 6 days. Nice condo with a lanai that overlooks the ocean. Beach is with walking distance, but it didn’t seem to be a popular beach. You can drive all over the island from there. 9 minutes from airport. The condo is nice, not brand new, but clean!! New washer and dryer. Enough cookware and dishes. We sat on the lanai a lot. AC is only in bedroom. Ceiling fan and stand fan in LR.

Perfect view and perfect location! Great communication with the property owner. I hope return stays get special rates lol. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay, in this lovely apartment with beautiful beachfront views. A great location for exploring the island and plenty of space to relax. We would stay again. :)

My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at this vacation rental. The location is wonderful. Full ocean view of the bay from the living room and the lanai. We very much enjoyed just watching the water and listening to the ocean every day. It is also very close (walking distance) to several great eateries. Passion Bakery is literally across the street and is so good for breakfast. The brewpub across the highway has excellent Ono fish and chips, and the Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk. The unit itself while perfectly adequate is showing its age. Nothing some fresh paint and TLC wouldn’t fix. The mattress could really use a nice mattress topper, would make a world of difference for comfort. The AC unit in the bedroom worked great but is a bit loud at times. All in all it was a great stay.

Our stay was in April 2024. View from lanai absolutely beautiful. Condition of unit horrible. Carpet very dirty. Had a throw rug over portion of carpet that had a permanent ripple that was a tripping accident waiting to happen. Damaged front door, chunks of wood scratched out. Louvers on screen area of door did not open so could not get cross wind. Old dirty couch so did not use pull out bed. Key to front door did not work so only used keypad. Toilet flushing very slow in refilling & weak. Had to wait 5-7 minutes before next flush could happen. Inside the unit was in very poor condition. Would stay in the complex again, just never unit 111 unless some serious updating/repairs r done.

The view from the lanai was beautiful. Check-in and communication were great. The unit was well-equipped and clean although it's probably time for some upgrades with the living room carpet and the kitchen area. Would definitely stay there again.

Great spot. East coast right on the beach. Found we were central to all the stuff we wanted to do. Didn’t have to say a word to the host, in and out no problem. Would come again!

I tried communicating with owner about scent allergies. The awful scent of laundry product used would not wash out of sheets and towels after two hot washings with All Free and Clear. The unit location is wonderful with being so close to sound of ocean waves, and nicely furnished and decorated. Except for coffee maker and kettle too dirty to use. I wonder, if I bring all my own sheets, bedspread, towels if I could return???

We loved listening to the waves at night and spotting whales during the day. We only needed the A/C for a couple of nights and it worked well. We loved the central location and also having a washer/dryer/dishwasher in the unit. There are many stores, bakeries, coffee shops, etc. within walking distance. The waves sounded great but there is also some traffic noise during the day mostly. The kitchen/bathroom/living room are about ready for a refresh but we didn't mind. The pillows were kind of wimpy. Everything was clean and we felt safe. The neighbors were friendly and the pool area was nice with two gas grills to use. There was one night when someone was having a fire on the beach and the smoke was blowing directly into our unit all night long so we eventually had to close all the windows and turn on the A/C. Thankfully that only happened once during our 10 night stay. The shower was nice with good water pressure. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity comes up.

This is a helluva deal for the view alone, well worth the money. Centrally located to everything, easy stay with attentative hosts, thanks again!

We had a wonderful week long stay. The property is nicely maintained. The owners provided clear directions regarding access to the property. We never heard from the property manager about a car tag, but never had any issues with parking there. Overall, we would go back in a minute! It is in a nice location that is central to the entire island and allowed us to visit all over and come back to the "middle" area so that each day didn't end on an extended drive back. Plus there is a beach there for your own use or if you drive a mile, there is a park with an entire area for swimming for kids and adults which is protected from the ocean waves. Overall, amazing.

Nice location

My family enjoyed our stay. It had what we needed...bed, kitchen, shower. The view from the lanai was incredible. The pool right outside our front door was very convenient. The grounds were immaculate. Mark, the resident host was very attentive, friendly, and kept people in line if needed...quiet hours at pool, no glass around pool, etc. Overall we were pleased.

The room was clean and had the items we needed. It was in a good location for touring the island.

Great location - easy parking - very friendly people that own or stay at the condo complex. Balcony looks right out over the ocean - beautiful. Owners were very communicative and send some great tips prior to us arriving. The price is competitive, but the condo is showing its age and wear. Carpet in living room needs serious cleaning or replacing, and couch definitely has a layer (or two) of suntan lotion embedded in fabric. Overall, we could take the bad with the good, since the price was great and the location was where we wanted to be.
