We had a great time. The location is very central and we loved being able to walk to the beach for sunrise.The host was very responsive and proactively reached out to make sure we were doing well.The house was clean and comfortable to stay in and we had marked parking so we didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot.

Yes. Host was welcoming. Good location and mostly comfortable. A few things for the owner to consider:1/4 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom for a week was under rated. Same for paper towels. I would have preferred a new sponge as well as I have no idea what the one left there had been through. Bathroom floor had lots of extra hair and the toilet had several attached. Shower curtain is too short and needed constant adjustment. It also has mold on it. Kitchen stove burners need adjustment. On another note, we appreciated the use of the cooler, chairs and extra beach towels. The location was nice for morning walks and access to shopping and the main road.Oh yes. We found a live roach in the fridge on the top shelf of the door. No idea how it got there. We had little food and we ate out most meals. Mahalo

Amazing location! This is probably one of the best places to stay on the island & you’re literally just steps from the Kapaa bike bath & a 2 minute walk to a great beach!

Kitchen mostly stocked well. Limited views from balcony. No air condition, limited fans. Very noisy chickens thru the night. Bed was ok, pillows very firm and could use better sheets. Shower broke, was fixed the next day. Shower head needs replaced. Dark stairwell to the unit. Location was perfect, fantastic bike path.

Comfortable accommodations. Clean, but relatively small and not luxurious. Got a little warm in the bedrooms, but got by with fans and the AC unit in the sitting room. Good location - Walking distance to "downtown" Kapaa. Host (Donna) was extremely responsive and helpful to address a minor hiccup during check-in. I recommend.

Amenities and cleanliness were lacking (4 bath towels and only 2 washcloths for several people for the entire stay) soap container was empty in master bath. Bath rug was visually dirty and didn’t appear washed between visitors. No kitchen hand towel. Moldy shower curtain (my husband had to cut off the bottom of the plastic shower curtain or I wouldn’t shower. Fans are available but they were filled with dust so I’d rather not use. Nice central location.

Very welcoming and helpful. Safe and central location that works well for two friends or small family on a budget. Everything was just as described. Could use some updated beach accessories but notified host and felt like host went above and beyond to address my minor concern. Would recommend as this was also recommended to me by another friend who had used it before. I would say that Kapa’a can have some traffic but I still would stay in this great location with free parking if you have a rental car.Everything was very easy to get to

Overall, it’s a great stay. The host is kind and responsive. The location of this listing is also great since it’s close to everything. The beach stuff that the host left on the balcony is useful. I would recommend this place to my friends if they ever come to Kauai. There is also a very friendly cat that hangs around here. We had a great time :)

The location is awesome, just a few minute walk to the beach and located next to a grocery store! Great location if you want to check out the North and South shores because it is right in the middle of everything! Close to Lydgate Beach which was my daughter’s favorite beach! Would highly recommend!

It was the perfect setting. Close to shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to a beach where we watch the sunset and sunrise a couple times. We drove and down the island and it was all easy. The host was super responsive and we were comfortable. We hope this place is available when we return to Kauai.

It was our first time in Kauai and this condo was in the perfect location! We took sunrise walks and ran along the path way right outside the condo! Also took a night stroll to star gaze at night it was amazing! The condo is located in the middle of everything. A short drive south to Poipu Beach and also not too far to drive north to Hanalei. Having 2 bedrooms and 1 & 1/2 bath for our family of 4 was just right. The living room was spacious & comfy for relaxing and watching TV. We sat outside on the lanai enjoying breakfast and coffee a few mornings too. The only improvement I would recommend is to update the beach chairs they were rusted and out dated. Also the shower curtain was moldy. The dresser drawers were flimsy, but the closet had enough space to accommodate our clothes. For the most part we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the small touches like coffee, spices, salt and pepper already in the kitchen to use for cooking. Beach towels were also provided and useful since we went to the beach everyday. We love Kauai and would definitely stay here again!

Had a good time checking out Kapaa and surrounding area. Easy access to town and shops/restaurants. Condo was as described.

Great location. Instead of walking down the path to the beach take a right when leaving the area and go one street over. Less steep and swimmable. It’s Hawaii so we were really only there to eat breakfast and sleep. And speaking of sleeping, the prohibition against air conditioning IS an issue especially if you have any respiratory issues. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

The location of this condo was good.

Perfect location and comfortable amenities. The shore is 5 min away and we loved early morning walks. This property has everything for a perfect stay.

Great location for shopping and drive to anywhere on the island. Wonderful sunrises in a few minutes away.Be aware of no AC and annoying roasters since windows can’t be closed tight.

Came to celebrate BIL marriage. Place matched the description! Was super close to the beach and places to shop and eat! Location is great to go to the north and south side of the island easily!!

Doesn’t get much better for the price. No AC but the fans worked well. As good as it gets for the price, highly recommend!!!

Place was exactly what we were looking for. In the middle point of the island so we could either go north or south for the day. Check in process was smooth. Only hiccup was the listed WiFi info was outdated. Communication was smooth to help resolve. Would look to stay here again when we come back to this wonderful island.

Great price, great location, sufficient for 4 persons. Roosters were a little annoying, but you get used to them. Our Luau was only a block to the south. Great biking or hiking trail along the coast.

There was a bit of confusion about in app check in directions, but was figured out quickly. The apartment is in a perfect location, close to the beach, and close to stores and restaurants. Being from Ohio, and it was winter, I usually have problems without AC in warmer temps. The breezes thru the windows was perfect to keep the place cool and comfortable. The provided fans did the trick without needing the "ice" features. Clean, well equipped. Very homey. The only down side was the tub in the bathroom drains very slowly leaving you ankle deep in water. I would recommend this stay for anyone, and would happily stay there again.

Great location. Clean and quiet. Great communication with Donna. Appreciate the late checkout for a 9 pm flight! Would definitely recommend unless you are looking for a pool on site but you can see, hear, and walk to the ocean so… Good value and the use of beach chairs and coolers was appreciated!

We had a great stay in the apartment. Everything was clean and well furnished. We had everything we needed. You even have some ocean views from the balcony. The location is good for exploring Kauai. There are shopping facilities nearby. We even saw a large seal on the beach nearby on our first night. Mahalo and see you next time!

The location was fantastic, close to many shops/restaurants/downtown Kapa’a. Donna was able to accommodate our changed arrival time and communication went smoothly. My only critique was that the arctic cooling unit in our room was broken so the nights were very warm but there were plenty of fans otherwise. Overall, for the price I would say this stay was well worth it!

For our first time in Kauai, this was an excellent central location. Lots of fun things to try out around Kapa’a. Be aware it is humid!

Great location, perfect vacation space! Easy check-in, beds were super comfortable, the space was clean with a really nice back lanai. The air flows through the space nicely with the doors open and the fans in the bedroom were great for sleeping. We will be returning!

Overall the place is nice with a good location and of course on the beautiful island of Kauai. The house is a good size and really has all you need except AC which sure would be a big help but its manageable without. The owner has plenty of fans to help and the breeze was decent. The rooms are nice and the bathroom has a great shower. The kitchen is perfect for the unit and a breakfast on the balcony bar is a good way to start the day. Parking was ok but the stalls aren't marked anymore so just park in front...no one complained where I parked. The location is great about 40 minutes to the very top or very bottom so its really centrally located and a TON of places to eat and shop just steps from the door (Bull Shed is awesome) A couple negatives...the front porch is extremely cluttered with chairs and a table...hard to get by carrying stuff. The listing says Hot Tub and there is NO hot tub so there's that....the beach is just sand no swimming because its all reef and when I was there a dead whales head washed up, so the rotting whale head was a real treat...Best to visit another beach which the owner provides beach chairs umbrellas and other stuff so that's a plus. Overall its a great little place to stay...definitely would stay again

We had a wonderful stay. 2 bedrooms worked perfectly with our infant. Location was great for exploring the whole island easily. Clean and incredible value for price!

The location of this unit is centralized to everything that you could possibly need and was extremely convenient. It was nice to be able to take a stroll along the coast in the evening. The unit also provided many essentials. The beds were extremely comfortable, I slept like a baby. Donna responded to all of our questions quickly.

Loved our time at this property. I stayed with my husband and sister. We had plenty of room and privacy. Literally steps away from the beach. Waves and current we're pretty wild, but I could just sit on that beach and stare at the beautiful ocean all day. Location was great, 10-15 minutes from the airport and a very central spot on the island. You could drive to the north or south end within 35 minutes. A couple of delicious restaurants and a Safeway within walking distance. Beach chairs and towels were provided, which was very convenient. Loved opening the windows and screen doors at night to get the natural cooling effect of the trade winds. 10/10 would recommend a stay at this property.

The unit was very spacious for being an older, smaller unit. Parking was never an issue. We were concerned we might find fault with the hot water during a shower as the tankless unit was so small, but it was never an issue. The condo was close to the Wailua Drive In (which has the best Chicken Long Rice), a Safeway market and other shopping and dining options. From the front of the unit were beautiful views of the mountains and from the rear balcony we had ocean views, although not ocean front which we already knew. There is no a/c but it was never needed/wanted during our stay. There was a constant trade wind blowing to cool the unit. We also had and used the ceiling fans. The beds were comfortable, the pillows were too hard for our preference, however, Costco isn't far away and we bought a package of 2 to use while staying there and brought them home to exchange with our older pillows. We would definitely stay here again in the Village Manor.

Property was ok. There are some things that need fixing. Front screen door doesn't open properly. Use your foot to free it up. Handle in shower isn't attached and falls off. Toilet in 1/2 bath takes quite a long time to fill after use.

Centrally located. Nice pavedparh along the beach easy access. Enjoyed catching up with frienda.

We enjoyed our stay despite the rain and roosters. We were able to walk to restaurants and a few shops, and the beach. The beach closest to this property did not seem swimable as it was a rocky surf (sandy shores tho.) We utilized the path that runs right in front of the property and accessed beaches further down the shoreline. The roosters crowed all day and even throughout the night, which made for difficult sleeping. The place was well stocked inside and there are plenty of beach equipment options on the deck. Overall we would stay here again.

This was a great central location to access both the north and south shores of kauai. It was close to the ocean and many stores and restaurants.

We (2 couples) had a great 2 week stay in this condo. The location is amazing with shopping, restaurants and the coast all in short walking distance. The condo has what you need for a long stay, including laundry onsite (quarters required) and some beach gear. We wish it had some more sitting space in the living room for 4, and another full size bathroom but we knew that when we booked so no real complaints. The hot water tank had an issue during our stay and the host had it repaired for us within 24 hours, which is tough to do in a small place like Kauai. Would stay again!

This was a great location. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Very comfortable beds.

We loved our stay. There were a few issues on check in that were immediately rectified by the owner. The apartment is well stocked with bathroom soaps, linen , beach towels and beach equipment.

The place is nice it can sleep up to 6 people. It is also located in a nice location. A lot of good store and restaurants close by. The unit was advertised as a 2 bed / 2 bath. But I n reality it’s only a 2 bed / 1.5 bath. The other bathroom was not a full bath with shower. Only one bathroom has a shower. Also some of the appliances doesn’t work. One of the burner in stove doesn’t work. The bread/bagel toaster doesn’t work. If you’re staying for a whole week like we did, make sure you buy or bring your own toiletries. The one they provide is not enough to last you the whole week. There’s a washer and dryer in the complex for $1.75 wash and $1.75 dry, but it’s a hit or missed. Sometimes it work sometimes it doesn’t. I lost more money than getting my clothes washed and dry. Calling the number posted in the laundry room doesn’t help either. They never return your call. Lastly, I guess this is by personal preference. We were there August and it does get hot in there. The house does not have AC. It does have ceiling fan in each rooms, but it’s not enough. You’ll see neighbors also leaving their doors open just to have air come in their house. There is a portable AC in the house but the exhaust hose is missing to have the hot air out of the house. So, pretty much the hot air just circulate back to the house making the house much hotter than it already is.

Clean, spacious, and very well thought out. The shampoo and conditioner were high quality, beach mats and boogie boards provided, and there was even ice made in the freezer. Highly recommend.

This condo was close to several restaurants, shops and a grocery store. Great if you don’t want to drive everywhere! We loved that the condo had beach essentials- like an umbrella and chairs. Very nice overall!
