Islander on the Beach 352 Ocean Front *Penthouse* AC

Great condo - right on the beach. A/C works well which is a must for sleeping. Will hopefully visit again!

This property is a gem! Breathtaking views of the ocean and you can hear the waves at night. Excellent location next to coconut marketplace with shops, markets and tons of food options. Kapa’a is also conveniently located on the island if you’re exploring both south and north shore on your trip!

So beautiful! That's what my husband and I kept saying during our stay here at Islander Beach. The room was clean and very comfortably set up for our 10 day stay! Uncompromised view of the ocean was so amazing. Why did i think we needed our sound machine for sleep? All we needed was the lullaby of the sound of the ocean by opening the patio door!!

My first impression was not great, the place smelled very musty and I didn’t even want to open my suitcase. We turned up the AC went to dinner and came back to a room that no longer smelled musty.The view from the lanai is amazing, especially those sunrises. We were here during a full moon and it was like daylight and so beautiful.The condo itself has just about everything you need. We had 6 sets of nice big bath towel sets, 2 beach towels, 2 chairs, 2 small coolers, coffee filters, cutting boards and much more in all the drawers & cabinets.The location is perfect! We were here for 7 days and only had a small amount of rain one morning. There are 7 restaurants, a mall and small grocery store within walking distance to the condo. The beach is right there. We never had to take our chairs down, there were always open lounge chairs when we wanted to go to the beach. The beach was never crowded, you have your own space! The maintenance around the condo is fantastic, I just wish they would maintain the beach front by raking up the pinecones from the trees occasionally.Parking at night was sometimes an issue. 3 nights we had to park outside the complex.We liked having a freezer and refrigerator in the room along with all the places to hang wet clothing and towels. The place was super clean. My suggestions is a luggage rack next to the tv since there are only 2 drawers available and plastic wine/glasses. Would stay here again!!

The beach is beautiful. Restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance, which is a huge plus. Kayaking is close by. It’s also close to the airport.

I had an amazing stay at Islander on the Beach 352 Ocean Front in Kauai! The location is perfect – centrally located on the island, making it easy to explore all the best spots. Waking up to incredible sunrises every morning was a highlight. The condo was clean, and the bed was super comfy, making it a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. It’s also close to great restaurants and shopping, which made things so convenient. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kauai!

We have stayed at this property several times before through the hotel portion. This time we rented a condo through VRBO. We love the property and location. Everything about the individual condo was great. It was an oceanfront condo on the third floor. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. There were plenty of towels. Candace was very responsive to our questions and replied to texts within minutes. We were able to check in early too. I will definitely stay here again next time we are in Kauai.

Only steps from the beach and many great shops and restaurants. Excellent communication with host/owner. Quiet location except for the roosters LOL! Will book again!

Stayed at this complex two years ago; enjoyed it so much we returned for a second time; looking forward to a third visit in a year or two.

Super nice vacation unit right on the beach. Small kitchenette was fully stocked so perfect for morning sunrise coffee and evening drinks and appetizers. Good location halfway between the north and South island highlights. Hanalei Bay and Waimea State Park should not be missed! A car is a must but take time to rent bikes for a gorgeous ride on the path adjacent to Islander on the Beach!

We loved the view from the lanai most of all. We enjoyed incredible sunrises every morning. The location was fantastic with tons of food and shopping options within walking distance. The unit was clean and comfortable, and suited our needs perfectly. We hope to visit again in 2026.

Room was spacious and clean. The view was gorgeous. The ocean was right off our lanai (we were on the 3rd floor) with spectacular sunrises. Only bad thing was that there was no laundry area. We weren’t allowed to use the hotels. We had to use the public laundromat a few minutes down the road and unfortunately someone had washed greasy clothes and we ended up having to buy few new items. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The property was beautiful and quiet (besides the roosters). Located in a great area with shops and restaurants. The unit itself was very clean and had everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

The condo was perfect for our honeymoon! Great location with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. Right across from the beach, waking up to the sunrise every morning. Awesome place!

We stayed here after dropping our family at the airport, the day after getting married! I spoke to Candace about checking in early, the day of check-in, and she was very accommodating. The room is exactly as it appears in the listing, the property is very well maintained, and the pool/tiki bar situation is amazing. The location is great, lots of things to do and places to eat nearby. We would certainly stay again. The roosters are prevalent and vocal on the property, but that's Kauai!

This place met our needs perfectly. Right on the beach. Walking distance to lots of food options. Not long drives to anywhere on the island. Completely happy with everything about it. No surprises and super easy check in/out with great communication. We hope to be back.

This rental was perfect size for two people to settle after days out and about on the island. The balcony view to the ocean and hearing the waves to fall asleep was so relaxing. All of the surrounding amenities were so close and convenient, just down the steps to get either beach or pool access, then a short walk just across the parking lot to the Coconut Marketplace for any souvenir, food, and grocery shopping needed.

We liked the location of the condo, easy to get to other spots on the island and lots of restaurants nearby. The condo is pretty small but we were never there anyway and the beach right outside had plenty of room to hang out. The one issue is that a lot of the storage is being used up with kitchen stuff like blender, electric griddle and utensils. I would have liked some of this to be for clothing storage. The internet wasn’t working but we didn’t really need it so didn’t mention it. Nice pool and pool bar.. would stay again.

Property was clean (a couple of rough spots in microwave and paper towel rack), comfortable, and steps from the beach. Quite a beautiful view from the balcony and the people watching was fun too. Nice homebase to explore both points of the island! Extra towels would be nice. I know a change of towels can be purchased but it would be nice to have it included. Overall the place was as billled, met our expectations, and we would stay here again! Thank you Candace Macjmk and Kauai Calls!

Waking up To the sound of the ocean is amazing. Perfect location and just steps to the beach.

We loved the view, convenient location, and the provided beach supplies. Disappointed in cleanliness. Sheets had a big yellow stain and multiple stains on towels. Called property management and their solution was “theres an extra pair of sheets in the supply cabinet.” When it was time to shower, we unfolded the provided towels and there were dead bugs smushed. Other than those 2 things, we really liked the complex overall and all the surrounding amenities.

As advertised! We have stayed her dozens of times and prefer this oceanfront building. Walking distance to markets restaurants other beachfront properties restaurants and bars(which we prefer to do by beach). Friendly staff. Comfortable new bed. Amazing views and sounds from the ocean.

This was the perfect condo in the perfect location. The oceanfront view cannot be beat. The unit was clean & the bed is huge and comfy. The little balcony was perfect for quiet times with wine or coffee. Hint: open ALL the drawers even if they don't look like drawers. We did so on our last morning and found all sorts of goodies! Boogie Boards, beach chairs & 2 coolers are provided. A large Marketplace is steps away and full of restaurants & shops, & the ABC store deli provides all the prepared food you'd want if, like us, you don't want to cook. If you don't want to explore you don't need to rent a car staying here, but I recommend exploring the island as it is stunning. We got married on Shipwreck Beach in a traditional Hawaiian Lei Ceremony. We'll have great memories of Kauai and this unit. Thanks Candace!

It was an excellent experience and very delightful. Right on the ocean and the fresh air was wonderful. Excellent location by being in the middle of it all. My hope is I can return and spend more time there. It was glorious to enjoy God's creation in this way.

The VRBO was absolutely wonderful! Great location, great view, great amenities… Able to accommodate an early check-in with clear and quick communication. Had everything we needed, down to a knife and cutting board for the fresh papaya we got from The Papaya King!! It was such a great place to spend time that we canceled our last day of tourist stuff and just hung out at the resort!!

Loved our stay at Islander on the beach! To have the ocean right outside our door and a shopping center, ABC store and meal options within a short walking distance from our room was perfect for the first week of our stay on the island. The property the resort is on is absolutely beautiful with all of its tropical trees and flowers. Check in was stress free and I appreciated the app. The only thing I’d suggest for future guests is to provide bedding for the pull out couch

This is a good location and is walking distance to everything you need. The property management was good to work with and were very helpful.
