Central location, Steps to the Beach, & Convenience Shops, restaurants.

We loved the clean, well equipped space and ease of contacless check-in and check-out. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Parking was ample and well illuminated. Plentiful shopping and restaurant choices within walking distance. The pool area isn't always ready by opening time and the key code to get in is ridiculously long. But that didn't keep us from enjoying a quiet, relaxing hot tub to start end our days. The short walk to the beach is perfect for viewing the sunrise.

The AC for the bedroom had mold so we notified the host and they had someone come to clean it the next day. The rice cooker, slow cooker and iron skillets in the kitchen were so scratched and burned we couldn’t use them, cups were dirty, chopsticks were broken, kitchen gloves were by the roach killer and had melted, kitchen sponge was next to roach killer and had looked used, bathroom sink was cracked and water was leaking, carpet on the balcony floor that looked molded in spots due to the water residue from the AC… we would not stay again because of the condition of the condo.

Perfect centrally located condo. Easy to get to either North Shore or the South Shore. Right next to the Coconut Market place, Lava Lava Beach Club and walking distance to many of the shops in Kapa'a. While a bit close to the main road, so you get some traffic noise, it was close to the beach, just a short walk across the way and you were there. The Polynesian style architecture was fun, Host was very nice and sent some info before we arrived.

The space was noticeably clean. Friendly and very responsive host. Location was close to lots of fun stores and restaurants. AC worked well. Close walk to the beach. We loved it.

Balcony was nice but carpet got wet from rain and humidity. Host was very responsive and helpful! Great location!

The kitchen had all the conveniences we needed for our stay . Communication was great. The Coconut Marketplace was in walking distance and so convenient. Beaches are close by too. Thanks again.

Great condo, beautiful view, nice pool. The location is perfect to explore the north and south of the island. I will return! The condo is on a corner so loved the side windows. Enjoyed the kitchen island. Big living room area. Living room sofa bed comfortable. Ice packs in the freezer, very convenient.

We recently stayed here during our trip to Kauai and overall had a lovely experience. The location was perfect—centrally located, making it easy to explore all sides of the island. The property was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. While the beach gear (umbrella and chairs) was a bit rusty and worn, it still worked well enough for our beach days. The beds were Tempur-Pedic, which some might love, but we found them a bit uncomfortable. We let our kids take the bedroom while we slept on the pullout couch ourselves. Despite these small things, the place suited our needs and made a great home base for our trip.

Place was nice and centrally located; not very long to get anywhere. A couple minor issues nut not a big deal. Host was great and very communicative. Combos for door and pool are a bit too long, but no big deal. Super close to coconut market place and a few dining options. Sleeping giant had tasty food and lava lava for their view and mai tais. Only downside is there are no sunsets here, wrong side of the island. Not the resorts fault obviously.

Unit was exactly as described, lots of nice extras were provided like coolers and beach items. Great location for exploring the island and a/c worked well.

This was one of the rare stays where the description does not do justice and and the review rating is totally justified.They have everything you need and the location is perfect to explore the island. I would stay here again without hesitation!

The condo was very nice and very clean. The central location in Kapaa was good to visit all the island. The two separate AC units were great to keep us cool during the night. Loved the very close proximity to the beach and Coconut Market. We rented bikes at the Market and enjoyed the nice bike path along the coast. We loved Kauai and would return! Thank you Jennie

This was a great place to stay. Close to beach & Coconut Marketplace.Very clean. Has everything you need.The property is clean and quiet. Crazy enough Never saw a chicken on property. The property manager Jenni is very responsive an so friendly!

The condo was great. Clean and easy to get to. There is a main road near by that can be noisy at times, but it is worth it for the great location.

We will be back! Loved our stay! Will return in the future! Jennie the host was extremely responsive and very helpful, both before we got there & while we were there. She was very helpful & fast to respond.The boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkel equipment provided was awesome & very helpful. We enjoyed that our unit was extremely close to 1 of the pools & hot tub.Very central locstion, having Coconut Marketplace right there & a bunch of restaurants close by was great as well. Thorouggly enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

The location of the property was nice. A short walk to beach. Also centrally located, so was easy to explore whole of the island. Property was spacious for our family of four (2 adults 2 kids). Also appreciate the prompt responses from Jennie. Will rent it again if we visit Kauai again.

I want to talk about how awesome this property was for our stay on Kauai.First, what an absolutely REASONABLE price for a fantastic property. Second, LOCATION was perfect--it was central on the island so we went south and then west one day, and the next day we went north, and then the last day, we stayed in the area. We were in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go, do and see. It was also just steps from the beach. They don't recommend using this beach as a day spot to actually go in the water, and I totally agree, it's not that, but it's perfect for watching the sunset, listening to the waves and just hanging out. It's also literally minutes from stores, restaurants, whatever you need/want. The communication with the property manager was top notch, the check-in/check-out process couldn't possibly have been easier, the apartment was clean, neat and quiet. Perfect for 2 people but could easily have slept several more. The pool area, while we didn't use it since we packed in 12 hours of sightseeing a day, was right beyond our balcony and was lovely and looked clean and like a good place to spend a few hours. The apartment also came with towels and other things that you might want to use again. All in all, I would happily recommend this to my friends and family as a stay, and would also happily stay again on a return visit.

This apartment is nicely appointed with comfortable beds and furniture. The decor is welcoming; overall it was very clean. The bathroom has a long counter, single sink, nice walk-in shower. There were plenty of towels but few face cloths. The kitchen had pretty much everything you would expect and is as described. Checking in was easy, but I received conflicting information to go to the main office of the complex to check in vs. going straight to the apartment, so I made an unnecessary stop at the main office. Jennie was very prompt in answering all questions. The information she sent prior to our arrival was all very helpful. The location was good, with easy access to a walkway along the local beach and to Coconut Marketplace, which has a few restaurants. I was only there for a few nights, so it was good for my purposes to visit both the south and west side of Kauai, as well as up to the North end of the island. Please be aware that there is no elevator in the building and the unit is on the 2nd floor, plus there is no dish washer in the apartment. These were not an issue for me. We did not use the pools or laundry facilities at the resort, so I can't comment on them. Overall it was a good stay.

We like Plantation Hale because it is centrally located. We have family on the North Shore and in Kapaa and we love to visit the beaches and trails on the South and West sides of the island. The condo is right next to the Coconut Market Place and a great big ABC store which sells food and gifts and necessities. There is a trail by the beach that goes both directions, turn right you can walk to Lydgate and turn left and you can walk to Kapaa and further. The only downside to the location is the the noise of sirens. There are lots of sirens due to car accidents and ambulances, everyday. You will hear sirens anywhere you are close to the main road not just at Plantation Hale. This is our third year staying at Plantation Hale, and the second year in this condo. We spand 5 weeks on the island and have found that this condo is afordable for long stays. We will return.

Centrally located; easy walk to beach, shopping, and dining. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, communication with management company was flawless.

This property was very clean and well maintained. Access to amenities like pool and laundry were also provided. Central location close to airport and many stores and fast food restaurants. All necessary supplies were fully provided.

This was a lovely suite minutes from the most gorgeous sunrises. It came with all the comforts of home & then some. Comes with everything you will need for a day on the beach. If you choose to stay in for the night - kitchen is equipped w everything you need to make your meals. Hosts is prompt to answer any questions you might have. We loved the central location to all the great shops, food joints, & multiple beaches to enjoy. 4.5 stars ⭐️ Would stay here again

Good location. close to shopping, entertainment on the east coast. Quick access to a beach (non-swimmable). The unit is clean with plenty of necessary supplies. everything is as advertised. Great for couples and small families.

Worked from home for a couple of days here and it was comfortable, wifi worked well. + well stocked kitchen + great view + easy check in + large space + easy parking - some bugs/cockroaches but that's expected in Hawaii. Near the end of our stay some people offered to spray the place with pesticides but we preferred to not live with pesticides so we denied the offer. Just keep the place clean and keep food secure and you'll be fine.

Had minor issue with the checkin but quickly resolved. Owner is very responsive. Condo is fully renovated and clean; the bottle of wine was a nice surprise! Nice location, steps from the beach and shops. We truly enjoyed our stay.

We have stayed at the Hale, year after year, for the last 6 or 7 years, and this unit definitely is the nicest. The double a/c's and fans were great for us, since we really love sleeping with cool air. There is an excellent view of the Sleeping Giant right from the Lanai. The floors, bathroom, and kitchen have multiple upgrades. And the owner, Jennie, was very attentive. Any issues we had were immediately taken care of.

We had a wonderful 7 nights here. The coconut marketplace next door was great to have and Safeway up the street was very handy as well. Being on a corner unit was great so we could still see the ocean. Another plus was the full kitchen. We were able to cook some great meals with local farmers market ingredients. Would definitely recommend and we would stay here again!

This place has everything you need. Great access to the north and south of the island. Quiet beach is a walk away. The kitchen amenities are excellent. The Owner is very responsive. I will be recommending this place to everyone going to Kauai.

The property was great. The host was attentive and responsive to questions, super friendly. There was a guidebook of things to do in the area and suggestions, referrals for areas to go to and for dining. If I were to return to Kauai I would stay there again. I definitely recommend

Very centrally located, quiet and comfortable

Thank you to our host - we had a fantastic experience here! We landed on the island and had our car rental and grocery shopping done before our check-in time. We had lots of time to drive around the area and were excited to find our condo so we decided to contact Jennie, our host to see about checking a bit earlier and got the “ Ok” - which was very accommodating. This hidden gem is very close to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golf, laundry and the airport ! Everything that makes for a great, stress free holiday - in the middle of Kapa’a which makes driving to visit other parts of the island very easy. We liked that we had our own kitchen for making meals, as we aren’t big breakfast eaters as well had many lunch and dinner options close to us. We will definitely be telling our family and friends about our wonderful stay here and the most beautiful island and condo that is waiting for them to visit !

This was our second time staying here. We love this condo so much. It feels like you’re walking in your own home when you open the door. Has a view of the pool, Mountain View’s & you can see the beach from her back porch that’s right across the street. It also has a market that you can walk to. Great restaurants there, a grocery store, gift shops, shaved ice etc. If we come back to Kauai.. we will be staying here again. Hope everyone enjoys her place as much as we did. Mahalo

Right in the middle of north and south side! Perfect location

We liked having a second floor unit in the complex. We love Kapaa because it is centrally located and we enjoy the west side, south side and North Shore without having to spend lots of time in the car. We also love the little town of Kapaa. Safeway, Longs Drugs and the ABC stores are in walking distance. You have a little view of the ocean from the deck and kitchen. It is an end unit in a quiet building. There are sirens because the fire department is close by but not a deal breaker. We are already booked for next year.

Really nice condo. We appreciated the beach umbrella, coolers, and beach towels made available to us. Comfy beds! The couch pullout mattress was even comfy too! Very close walk to marketplace with many shops. And the beach is super close too. I recommend staying here!

This was our first time in Kauai and this was a great location for exploring the island.

Nice enough. Good location. Sketchy beach area, lots of trash, however it appears they working to make it better. Not a deal breaker.

A great place to relax and explore Wimea Canyon, Sleeping Giant & Secret waterfall. The hosts provide recommendations for a nearby beach which was wonderful. The beach onsite is a little rough for swimming. We loved having the coconut shopping center so close (less than 5 min walk). Great for coffee & food. 3 pools on site. Quiet property. Good restaurants nearby.

Aside from lack of bed size options, property was very clean and very well managed, and was VERY CENTRALLY located.

My partner and I stayed here for 5 days and it was a nice landing spot. The place came with beach chairs, boogie boards, and a beach umbrella. The listing said it came with snorkeling sets, but we didn't find any. We also didn't have time to snorkel. When we first got there, the place had a musty smell that seemed like no one had been in there for awhile. The smell subsided after opening up the sliding doors and getting the fans going. We didn't end up cooking as much as we wanted, but the place was well-equipped for that. We had a beautiful time in Kauai and we would definitely consider staying here again for another trip!

We loved our stay at the condo. It is close to Kapaa downtown and there are many options for dining. The place is very clean and has everything we need. It is our home away from home. I definitely recommend to others.
