Condo was absolutely beautiful and immaculately clean. It was equipped with everything you could possibly want - from every type of kitchen appliance and amenity, beach chairs and boogie boards, books, game, etc. etc. And the finale was the breathtaking views of the ocean from the condo and lanai. The owner was so accommodating - from the time we made our initial booking almost a year before our arrival until the day we checked out. We 100% recommend this unit and will definately try to book it again in the future.

Awesome location, just steps from the ocean, and at a reasonable (for Kauai!) price. We had our morning coffee on the lanai watching lovely sun rises every morning. This condo was extremely well equipped, very comfortably appointed, cute, and quiet. We plan to stay here again the next time we visit Kauai. The owner, Kathleen, was very responsive to our requests for information, and had assembled a binder for the condo that contained all the information that you need to get the most out of your visit to this lovely island. We especially liked the central location in Kapa’a, which allowed easy day visits to all the island attractions. It was a perfect place to have one of the most relaxing and comfortable vacations we have ever had!

We loved our stay in this condo on the beach. Everything was top notch. It was immaculately clean and probably the best equiped VRBO we've stayed at. The bed was comfy and all accommodations were top notch. I must say it has the best freezer for making ice!! It was always full and with the humidity we had during our stay we used it a lot. The A/C was very nice and cold. We fell in love with the chickens and roosters at our lanai. My husband and I agreed, we would definitely stay in this condo again. It's close to everything and rents snorkeling gear in the lobby. Everyone was very friendly. There is beach front and you can get to the water. We did not snorkel there but several beaches are very close. We picniked almost every day at a different beach. I would highly recommend this Condo.

This Villa is well situated on the beach. Walk right out to the beach and a rolling surf. The villa is clean, roomy and comfortable. Good bed, eating area, kitchen is well stocked. I would stay here again.

We have stayed at Pono Kai many times. Our stay in C102 was nothing short of excellent. This was the most well stocked unit. Every single thing you could ask for in the kitchen! Such a lovely place to just listen to the waves.

Very nice condo. Location was beautiful. Condo was clean and as-advertized. Excellent amenities. Liked the grab bars in the bathroom. The bed was a bit too soft for us but not a big deal. We enjoyed staying there very much

We were impressed with the thoughtfulness of the host, as evidenced by the amenities provided for our comfort. And the kitchen! I love to cook and the kitchen had small appliances, cookware, tableware and gadgets galore. Very nice!

Stayed 10 days in this beautiful condo, great location with tons to do within 15 minutes. Everything you could want was provided. Lots to do on the property and the beach across the street is very peaceful. Great communication and very clean.

Bed needs to be replaced 5 years ago. Needs more toilet paper for 8 days and more than one small motel soap. other than that, the place well stocked and in good shape and beach front. The housekeeper was very good if you had a problem.

Kathleen was so easy to work with. If your looking for a great view, comfortable bed, easy walk to shops and many food choices, this is it. Also met Grace and Eric the caretakers of the unit. They are beautiful people. Great place to stay!

We are returning guests and enjoy this superb property immensely. The location is perfectly situated adjacent to a five mile oceanside pathway and it is a short stroll to the quaint town of Kapaa. The resort grounds are very well maintained with a pool, hot tub, games area and koi ponds to enjoy. The oceanfront unit is always immaculate and kept in pristine condition. The unit has everything we have needed including a well stocked kitchen, good air conditioning and a comfy bed. Additionally, beach chairs, coolers and umbrellas are also available. Kathleen is the most helpful owner. She has went above and beyond for us on many occasions and we thank her for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.

We have stayed here for the last few years. It is always clean and by far the best supplied kitchen one could ask for. The bed is comfortable and the unit as a whole wonderful. The local contact is easy to deal with and very nice. The owner is very easy to work with and helpful. You can't go wrong here.

To use 1 word- WOW! Grounds were well kept, amenities surpassed everywhere I've been! ...and now for what matters, the condo... This was the most comfortable condo we have EVER stayed in! The bed was utterly amazing!!! We've been to all the islands, multiple times and several other trips. This cond blew out every big name resort you can think of! AND you literally walk out your slider 50 feet to a soft sand beach with a putting green 70 feet out your slider looking at the ocean which is 40 feet from a BBQ that is always immaculate! My 10 year old grandson literally went from Aulani to Marriott then flew to Kauai for Pono Kai and all he talks about is the condo! I have 1 final word, if you want to stay here book in advance, it is so worth the wait, any time I ever come to Hawaiian islands, it will be Kauai, Pono Kai C102
