Everything worked out perfectly. The home is beautiful and spacious, very welcoming. Many comfy lounge areas and the kitchen especially is wonderful! Wrap around deck outside upstairs was so inviting, but we were guests in January so the weather was not quite conducive to outdoor relaxation, but it sure looked beautiful!
A lovely house. Would definitely stay again
The location is wonderful and the home exceeded our needs. There were only 2 of us on this trip but the house is perfect for families. It was a great place to come home to after a day out.
The neighborhood was amazing. Very short walk to the beach and Tunnels.
Overall the house was great! Distance to a great beach was just what we were looking for. Only negative is 2 bedrooms are separate from main house so was a little hard to have a baby sleeping downstairs while adults were upstairs. Sat on the deck though that had a view of the door, and a great monitor, which eased our minds. Acacia was very responsive in all communications. Felt like locals in that location!
We had a great time in Haena and I do recommend the area if you like peace and quiet - its a 10-15 min drive to Hanalei. The house is definitely a rental but had a beautiful new kitchen and plenty of room in the master and living area. It is close to a the beach - if you use the trail on the far end of the neighborhood next to the YMCA camp the beach is better than right in front of the house. The management is responsive. The master bedroom walls do not reach the ceiling due to it being an octagonal design. This wasn't that bad but there is no door to the bedroom and you need to walk in front of the opening when going from the shower to the dressing room - kind of strange and not very private. The bedrooms downstairs are sufficient - one is a bit small and you have to walk through that one to get to the other unless you leave the sliders open. Floors upstairs were dirty.I recommend you rent or bring your own snorkel equipment. There are two or three beach chairs and an umbrella. Also, no gas grill. The backyard and back deck are coolest on a hot day.
We had such a wonderful stay here. The location is fantastic, being a block from the beach but also close to Haena/Tunnels. Regarding Tunnels, a tip to get around the parking problem is to drop people and gear off at the (always full) parking alley, then park the car back at the house or in the neighborhood, and walk back (maybe half mile). Reverse the process when leaving the beach. Easy-peasy. And the house itself is fantastic, so comfortable for a whole family to enjoy each other and also have space to themselves. I actually liked the covered patio most of all, so pleasant to eat, read, relax out there.
We all had a fantastic time. Loved the new kitchen and the proximity to lovely beaches. Beautiful property. Restful and a relaxing for all of us. Mahalo!
Thanks for letting us stay in your home, it’s an amazing neighborhood
We had an incredible visit in this beautiful home. You feel like you were sleeping amongst the birds in the trees! The walk to the beach is easy and beautiful. We loved everything about our stay.
Cannot beat 2min walk to the beach. The house has an open floor plan and very airy.We made many meals in the spacious kitchen. Our host was very responsive to our messages.Love to come back again!
This tiny neighborhood is a quiet gem on the island to "try slow." The house has everything you could want and the kitchen is wonderfully equipped to stay at home and cook up large meals. I wish the outdoor lanai seating was more comfortable for six. people
The place was amazing, other than you can’t tell that the master bedroom is basically part of the living room.
Really enjoyed the beautiful area, the weather, the people and the food. The house served us very well until the last 2 days of our visit, and this was only due to a storm that knocked the power out to the north shore area, and it was unable to be restored - west of Hanalei - until after we left. No fault of the owners of the property.
Our family stayed over Thanksgiving break and had a wonderful time. Gorgeous remodeled kitchen with an open floor plan perfect for a family gathering. Unbeatable location. We will be back!
The property is beautiful and the location is fantastic. Just a 3 minute walk to the beach was wonderful. The house was well stocked with kitchen gear. The hosts were very helpful. The only thing that I think is missing I. The description is that there is no privacy for the master bedroom. It is an open floor plan and there is no door and just a partition separating the master bedroom from the living room and kitchen. Lovely place and would definitely stay again.
What a wonderful home! Great location steps from the beach in a quiet neighborhood location. The new kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Beds were super comfy. The home had everything needed for a fun and relaxing vacation.
This was one the best places for my group of girlfriends to celebrate my birthday. We called it “The Nest”. The lanai was amazing, the well-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking daily. And the outdoor shower with hot water was perfect after heading to the local beach. I was worried because it didn’t have AC but after opening the windows and screen doors it was perfect. The space is in a quiet neighborhood and the snorkeling at the local beach was incredible. My friends and I are already trying to figure out when we can go back to the sacred “nest”.
Clean, well appointed, beautiful garden, convenient proximity to Opakapaka Grill and coffee shop as well as beautiful beach.
Excellent property located a short distance to north shore beach. Quiet neighbor head yet relatively close to town for gathering essentials. Clean, well stocked house.
I can’t say enough about this property, if you’re looking for a true tropical getaway this is your place! Everything was clean and the beds were super comfy, and the beautiful beach is just steps away which is a win for me. The staff is very responsive should you need anything, and Acacia was above and beyond nice. My family and I now have more beautiful memories to cherish forever, I would definitely recommend this beautiful home, and we will be returning again soon!
My hard to please husband adored this house as did I ! Situated in the most beautiful part of the garden isle this place is clean, private and comfortable. A delightful stroll to the beach to boot!
The location is so fantastic... 3 houses from the neighborhood beach, convenient walk to Tunnels Beach, and truly felt like in a gorgeous jungle garden at the house. Our teens downstairs said they could hear us walking around upstairs, but otherwise we could not stop complimenting the beauty and "vibe" of the location.
We had a great stay. Property had everything we needed to have a relaxed, enjoyable trip. Thank you!
Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was better than we imagined and Acacia has the true aloha spirit. Mahalo
We had always stayed on Poipu side due to family. This year we wanted to get away and stay on the north side. We didn't expect to love it as much as we did. The house was exceptional. We loved it. It was a little hot upstairs during the day but not terrible. They had everything we needed for our stay. The beach being right there was the absolute BEST!!!! Only regret I have is not staying over there longer.
We enjoyed the location of the house tremendously. The new kitchen and the lanai were wonderful.
We had an amazing stay in this beautiful home! The kitchen had just been completely remodeled, and there were so many wonderful touches. The beds were comfortable, there was copious hot water with high pressure, it was very clean and had a well-stocked library and selection of games. The beach is very close, and the neighborhood is quiet and private. The owner was great about communication - the brand new oven didn't work, and they were extremely respectful of our privacy getting it serviced. Beautiful yard, wonderful covered porch that I spent hours on, an absolutely fabulous stay and I can't wait to go back.
Location is fabulous if you’re looking to get away from crowds and be in a stones throw of the best north shore beaches.10 min to Hanalei for anything you need. Feb was cool enough that the downstairs bedrooms were tolerable, I question that during the summer warm months. The kitchen has been entirely nicely updated and had everything you need as in your own home. There were ants however so you have to clean thoroughly and use some ant spray where they intruded. Overall, a great vrbo.
