Shells At Poipu, lovely home, short walk to beach

Home was beautiful. It’s nestles in a quiet neighborhood with easy access via paths to 2 beaches.

Any question I had prior to our trip was answered quickly and warmly. The neighbors were also so friendly, sharing their tomatoes with my daughter and checking on us. An incredible stay, would not hesitate to book this home again, it was hard to leave. Mahalo!!

Spectacular well stocked home, not just a short term rental. Plenty of beach gear and games and books. Great location to walk to the beach or restaurants or pool (pool is a little farther away than expected but not a problem since we used the wagon that was in the garage). House was spotless. Parking was right at the house. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great location to Shipwreck beach. I had a meeting at the Hyatt and it was a short easy 5 min walk there on a paved path. Laundry was great to have available. Beds were clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities of home that you’d want. Clean. Nice big living room. Master sweet was a separate wing from the other 2 bedrooms. We didn’t find directions to the pool and had to call to get them but that was easy and they gave good directions. Pools about 10 min walk away. Garage had a cooler, 6 beach chairs, 3 boogie boards and 2 umbrellas you just stick in the sand. Grill and great comfy covered patio. Don’t miss seeing the sea turtles come to Poipu beach for their nightly sleep!!!

The kitchen was well-stocked with all the equipment, dishes, etc, we needed for meal prep.The boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, and carrying cart were a big plus. The walk to the pool was a little longer than I would have liked, and it took us a while to find it. (It's located behind Kalapaki Joe's Restaurant) But the pool and hot tub were both clean, and the kids really enjoyed them. The house was also stocked with a great variety of books, DVDs, and games.The outside BBQ/lanai area was comfortable and a wonderful hangout spot. Would highly recommend Kauai Vacation Rentals.

Super comfortable for my family of 5. It’s next door to the Grand Hyatt so convenient for a conference or to enjoy the pool area there as a guest. The beach is a short walk away with great sunsets and perfect waves for boogie boarding. We had such a fantastic time!

The rental was a perfect fit for our family. Easy access to a pool, walking distance to perfect snorkeling beach where we saw a monk seal, turtles, a variety of fish and dolphins further out. The home was spacious, clean and well equipped for our family needs. We loved the little secluded patio and hope to return to the same house as a family tradition moving forward.
