In the Heart of Kauai, Great Location, Steps from the Beach and Shops

We had a wonderful time staying in Kapa'a. We were close to the beach, walking trails, shopping centers and restaurants. The place was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Communication with the owner was fantastic and everything went smoothly. We would highly recommend staying here while enjoying the beauty of this island.

Everything great

Good location to access the entire island, very quiet neighborhood, close to stores and the beach. Beach supplies provided came in handy. Very nice condo, loved the beach decor.

We booked this condo in paradise for 3 weeks. Upon arrival we found burnt out light bulbs, and a non-flushing toilet. We’re a low-maintenance bunch and spend entire summers in a 450 sq ft cabin so… we bought and replaced lightbulbs, zip-tied the toilet so it would flush and went to bed. The next morning when neither the coffee pot nor Keurig functioned properly, we bought a pour over coffee system and contacted the management company listed offering to fix the toilet and replace coffee machine if we provided receipts for reimbursement. We received no response. Later on, we noticed water coming from under the sink. We discovered a leak in the garbage disposal. We cleaned up the mess and left a bucket to catch future drips.We unpacked our underwear and clothing into the dresser full of game components and bedding (there was 1 empty drawer in the dresser), shared the 2 butter knives, bought stemware so we could each had our own glass. We checked VRBO pricing in the area. We paid the going rate for similar accommodations.The mattresses in the twin bed room are quite cheap and uncomfortable. The shower and bathrooms have been updated, although there is no where to hang a towel in 2nd bathroom, the beach walk is nice, parking is a breeze and Kauai was wonderful.For reference, we have never left a remotely bad review and have traveled extensively.

Convenient location, walking distance from the beach and Safeway. The unit itself is a bit older than I expected.The flush in the main bathroom needed a nudge once in a way to refill, which is probably quite easy to repair. Also, there were amenities missing in the bathroom. Plenty of parking; overall, it was a pleasant stay.

The coffee pot was broken and host didn't seem to worried about getting a new one during our stay.

Clean, great island location. The description needs to identify that the AC is only sufficient for the bedrooms. The AC is not powered prior to arrival and takes 24hrs to catch-up. Bring a sleep mask if you need darkness as the 'blinds' provide limited value.

This place has A/C and TV's in every room. You are located walking distance from the beach, Safeway, Starbucks, restaurants, and Ice Cream with Dole Whip. Parking is convenient with plenty of spots. Jennie is available anytime you need anything. I will definitely stay here again!! 10/10 for us!

We had a great time while there. Close and convenient to beach restaurants and shops. The condo was perfect for our needs. We asked for clean towels and had them later that day!

everything is as listed on the app except for the fact, they left us free chocolate!

This was a great location and lovely condo with room for our family. They had provided some nice snacks and drinks which was wonderful and the extra niceties like the boogie boards, snorkel sets, cooler, umbrellas, etc were great adds. So wonderful. It was unbelievably hot, even with the swamp coolers and fans. There were swamp coolers in each bedroom so those rooms cooled off but the living room was uncomfortably hot. Luckily it was nice outdoors and this place had a small patio we could hang out in. I would recommend this place for sure and would stay here again. Communication with the host was a breeze. Access was a breeze. The bathroom was up to date and lovely. I appreciated the shampoo and conditioner they provided. It made my hair so soft and got tangled out with ease. I loved that we didn’t have to fight to find a parking space. The location was within walking distance to the restaurants, drug store, grocery, food trucks. Great location. Thanks for a great stay.

Kapa’a is wonderful! Condo was adorable, had everything we needed! Connor Jenni was very nice and easy to communicate with. The outside of the condo was older the back porch looks out to a big fence:( however I would rent it again, it’s fixed up really cute on the inside!

Overall good

This place was cute. I little small for four adults, but we weren’t there much for it to affect our stay. We enjoyed the chickens outside our patio and the convenience of the location. There were many extras that we used like the beach chairs. It would be nice to have more bath towels for the rental.

Great neighborhood. Closer to beach. Host is very friendly. However kitchen and bathrooms could be better equipped with essentials such as providing extra utensils, Tupperware, better pots and pans, and food packaging items. Some items such as scissors and coolers were too old and not working properly. The fridge has no water dispenser. So proving a counter top water filter would help with drinking water. Bathroom can use floor rugs as they get wet to prevent slipping. There is no dishwasher and should have been explicitly called out in the property description. Some door knobs, handles etc are loose and need to be checked. Otherwise a good, clean and quiet place for families.

Nice place! It was me and my two teen daughters. It was very clean, plenty of towels and good soap, shampoo, etc type supplies which is super helpful since we all have to fly there and can't really bring that stuff.. There was also a nice set of beach towels and snorkel items. Located in at "3 o'clock" on the island it was ideal for checking out northern and southern destinations. We also took advantage of the beach just a few hundred yards away in the mornings. Easy enough to get to the trail heading north for one of the most picturesque runs you will ever go on. The condo is also right next to a safeway which was super convenient. Jennie was great with her communications. I would highly recommend this place.

The apartment was really great. There was a cooler, beach chairs, beach towels , enough space for 4 people to fit comfortably even 5. We really appreciated how clean the place was and all the amenities offered. Highly recommend

This condo is in a perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants, and also centrally located on the island. It had everything we needed for a day on the beach and gave us the ability to some of our meals. When I had questions, I got a super quick response.We would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at this condo was a wonderful experience. The location is close to a bakery and our favorite breakfast restaurant, "Waipuoli Deli and Restaurant." We enjoyed coffee on the back patio. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. I highly recommend this condo. We will reserve it again in the furture. Aloha

Excellent location, can easily walk to the ocean and dining nearby. Relatively short drives to hiking trails in Hiena State park. Also not too far to viWamea Canyon. Enjoyed our week, would recommend the place to anybody.recommen

We loved how close to a beach this was and that it was in the middle of everything. The coconut water from the Thai food truck at the entrance was great. We loved the walking path and there was a pizza place across the street that was a take away and was very good! The place over all was nice, the extra 1/2 bath was nice for me, my husband and 3 kids! There was significant dust but for the most part clean. The beach toys and chairs were great. There is no dish washer in the place and you have to use an off site clothes washing machine. But overall we enjoyed the area of town and the place!

Had all the basics! Loved that it was centrally located to all that we wanted to do. Absolutely no issues, and we had a great time.

The place is just as pictured, very clean, we had no issues or complaints about our stay. It’s super close to the beach, which made it better than 5 stars if I could go higher!

We had a flight that came in around 10:30 PM local time by the time we got our car it was getting close to 11 o’clock when we pulled in the parking lot. The only thing that would’ve been a little nicer would be better marking on all of the condo locations, especially when it’s dark. It was very hard to locate from the vehicle. Otherwise, quick communication with the owner for the door code was much appreciated. We were welcome by a clean condo with everything as described. We didn’t spend a lot of time other than sleep and meal prep so this was perfect for us And it was a great Central location on the island for all of our day. Excursions. We would definitely stay at this location again.!

The home was clean and comfortable. All the amenities of home. We were walking distance from lots of options for food and other needs. As an added bonus We had chickens that visited us each morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was the perfect place to stay. Easy check in. Directions and location. You have everything around you that you need. Safeway and shopping center for gifts and good restaurant around and food trucks. Jennie was such a great host. Great communication. She leave beach towels, snorking gear, beach chairs etc. that really helps a lot for the stay. Very clean when we arrived. I would highly recommend and definitely come back again!

We really enjoyed the central location of this unit, making it easy to enjoy all parts of the island. The unit itself is clean and comfortable, air conditioning in the bedrooms is appreciated. Kitchen is decently stocked, beach gear was nice to have. A quick 4 minute walk to the beach for incredible sunrises every day.

Overall, a good place to stay. Clean comfortable beds. Close to both the north and south coast. Air conditioning could use improvement.

The Condo had everything we needed and we loved the central location. We could not get the main area of the condo cooled down. Even with the fans and the windows open in the evening we could not get it to a comfortable temperature. When we would return in the evening the condo was 90 degrees. The air conditioners in the bedrooms allowed us to cool down the rooms enough to sleep. Host was quick to respond and will to take care of our requests.

The pictures don’t do this condo justice—it’s even cuter and cleaner than expected! It’s a fantastic value for such a lovely place, conveniently located in between the north and southwest sides of the island. There's a Safeway right across the street, making shopping a breeze. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The condo was equipped with everything we needed for our trip, including snorkels, spaddleboard, chairs, and more. I would absolutely book this place again! My friend and I had a wonderful stay here. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect home for our family of 3's stay! The location was close to everything we wanted to do. We started each morning at the beach (5 minute walk) to watch the sunrise. It had all the amenities we needed, down to snorkeling gear and boogie boards! The beds were comfortable. They had a book with activity suggestions that was very helpful. Overall it truly enhanced our stay. We would stay again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfectly located in the center of Kaua’i! You’re literally smack dab in the middle and can get to the North and South shore easily. 3min walking distance from the beach and shops/restaurants. Clean apartment, easy check in, good communication, easy check out. We would recommend staying here and hope to stay here again! Mahalo for sharing your home with us!

Away from the big resorts, very easy access to Kapaa and Lihue. Very cost effective. Super clean, great towels and bed linen, very comfy bed. Bonus beach amenities (snorkel gear, cooler, chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards.) We would stay again ❤️

This is a great little condo in the heart of Kapaa. There is AC in the bedrooms which is nice but the living and kitchen areas were a bit warm during our stay. This condo is walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the beach. It had lots of beach gear that had been well loved.

Neat little place in a great central location on the island. A/C in bedrooms were great. The living room and kitchen got a little warm, but the breeze kept it tolerable. Everything was provided and the beach supplies were great. The welcome treats were wonderful. The bathroom door in the twin room was broken, which we were made aware of. Was told it would be fixed within the week. Jennie was a responsive host. Would recommend Jennie's place and would stay again.

We arrived late and it was raining so very tough to find. I would suggest asking for detailed directions . Also, property manager could turn on AC, which are only room AC. Tough to cool the whole place down. Not much room for suitcases.... Location is central to the island. Easy in/out with stop light...

My kids and I visit Kauai regularly because we have many relatives there. I booked this condo due to the location and reviews about cleanliness. The main areas, bedding, and towels were clean but other areas were clearly overlooked. For example, the shower curtain was yellow and mildewy at the bottom, the vent in the bathroom had a thick layer of dust, and the toothbrush holder still had toothpaste residue on and inside of the cup. There was dust/sand in corners of the bedrooms and dresser drawers, crumbs in the kitchen drawers, and sand in the futon when laid flat. The tv in the twin bedroom never worked during our stay. The owners said to call the cable company to have it fixed but I would rather not deal with a cable company on vacation. They gave me a $100 refund for it not working. There was a bug trap left in the open in the living room area when we checked in, so I was concerned, but we only saw one cockroach during the entire stay. The complex is quiet, convenient to get to, and the a/c in the bedrooms are nice. There is no a/c in the main area. The kitchen is well stocked with flatware and cookware. The beach items and some of the furniture were well used, and one of the dressers was missing a handle. I understand everyone has their own definition of clean, but was disappointed in the condition of the unit compared to photos and reviews.

Close to beach, Safeway, and downtown Kapaa and restaurants: we have stayed here twice because it covers all our needs.

Condo was as described. We arrived after dark and had difficulty finding the exact condo due to lack of outdoor lighting. Walking up to the units with cellphone light attempting to find unit felt a little much. Condo was clean, beds comfy, although queen squeaked a lot. Kitchen had all that was needed.

The condo was in a good central location so we could travel to North Shore and Waimea Canyon on different days. There are no views from the condo, but we didn’t care as we were out and about until after dark both nights. The cute condo was clean and well-stocked. A/C units in the bedrooms, but not the living room/kitchen. This was not an issue for us as the weather was not hot while we were there. The unit is on the ground floor but we didn’t have any problems with bugs. There is just one condo above it. The residents/renters in the unit above us were quiet. Jennie left us a guide for all the local restaurants, hikes, parks, beaches, etc. She was great with communication. I’d recommend the condo and would stay here again.

This is a great place to stay. The price is right for the accommodations. The kitchen was very functional and well equipped. Being centrally located and on the ocean side is a huge plus. There are many places close by within walking distance. We had a blast.

The condo is decent for the price. It is in a central location, but the actual complex it's in felt a bit sketchy. Positives: - Price. Great price for a trip on a budget. - Linens and towels were good quality. We slept pretty well. - Walking distance to beaches. I wouldn't classify them as swimmable, but nice to go on walks. - Beach gear was nice, some random snorkel gear, 2 boogie boards, umbrella. Chairs were beat up so we didn't use those. The prior guests did not clean them up at all, so there was sand spilling everywhere in the storage closet. - Close to stores and restaurants. Negatives: - Main room did not have an AC unit like in the pictures. It was hot most of the day and night. The AC unit in the main bedroom kept disconnecting from the window and would fill the room with hot air. I had to reconnect it several times. - Apartment was very small. We had very little space to store our luggage and store/prepare food. Overall, it was okay, but if we could do it again, I would pay more for a larger, more updated place.

Pros: walking distance to many shops and restaurants (recommend Kenji Burger), good communication with host, shower very nice, right next to La Hikina Luau. Cons: pre-dawn rooster wake up call (recommend keep on A/C unit to drown out the noise), squeaky bed. Overall it’s comfy place to crash, reenergize before going out. Everything is as advertised.

Great condo close to the ocean, old Kapaa, and between the north and south shores of the island. A great home base for exploring the whole island.

Everything was great! Loved the proximity to the markets and the nearby restaurants.

This couldn't have been an easier or nicer stay. Management was friendly and accommodating, replying quickly to all inquiries. The condo is conveniently located for beach and town access and has every amenity you could want, including thoughtful touches. We'll stay again when in Kapa'a!

Well placed for exploring island. Compact but all need for pleasant stay. One thing would say is stayed here before and thought there were coasters and place mats but none this time.so had to use kitchen roll when using table for meals to try and protect wood surface.
