Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect for exploring the island! The condo itself was exactly as described, what they don't talk about how amazing the waves crashing along the rocky shore are for sleeping. We also saw whales out front 3 different mornings. The are multiple sized coolers for your excursions, beach chairs, towels, everything you need to enjoy your time at the resort and out and about. The hot tub and pool are clean and functional. They also noted our late evening flight and offered late check out for an additional fee - which made our last day much more enjoyable! Highly, highly recommend!!Only complaint (but it was beyond the control of the hosts or owners) is the first couple of nights the guests inthe unit above only knew how to stomp when walking and cleaned their sandy shoes off their lanai which blew onto ours while we were eating. Chalk that up to lack of courtesy rather than issues with the property.

We really enjoyed the stay at this location. It had everything we needed. The ocean was directly in front of us and we saw whales at a distance. The pool and hot tub were very close, along with groceries, restaurants and walking paths. The bedroom is air conditioned and the breeze from the patio door cooled off the rest of the condo.

We loved our stay at the condo! It was clean, quiet, convenient and private. Loved our mornings on the lanai watching the ocean. Such a wonderful location! The only downside is that the carpets are a bit worn and needed a cleaning.

Nice sunrises from our deck and even nicer if we walked the bike bath! Condo was well furnished, and we appreciated having beach chairs, an umbrella, as well as a cooler. Concierge was very helpful in lining up activities.

We would definitely stay in this unit again. It was perfect for the two of us. Coffee in the morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean was lovely.

Great condo, feel lucky we found it. As advertised it is corner end unit ocean front. Very clean fully stocked unit. We appriciated the extra supplies like dishwasher and laundry tabs as well as cleaning supplies so we could keep the kitchen clean. NO bugs whatsoever, took the rubbish out each day. The comfortable bed. We were happy there was the portable AC in the bedroom and used it at night.

Great little condo in a great location with beautiful sunrises! Halfway between Ha'ena State Park and Waimea Canyon, it was a great spot to see both sides of the island without moving mid trip. Good restaurants in walking distance and a grocery store very close. Note the AC is only on the bedroom and the beach is not for swimming.

First of all, Garden Isle Properties is great to work with! They were friendly, quick to respond to all my questions and I ended up installing their app which made things even better! Mahalo! This unit is great! It’s quiet, clean and very comfortable. The breezes when the windows are open are wonderful! It also had all the necessities we needed for the week. Chose it for the A/C (so it would be quiet at night)(was worried about the roosters…but ended up enjoying them and te nlise wasn't an issue after all...this place is very quiet), the washer and dryer (it was our second week of vacation) and the recliner (because my husband needs one sometimes for his neck and back issues). This place far exceeded our expectations and I sure wish I could book it again now for next year! :) They also keep the grounds impeccably well…including the grills which we used a couple of times. The fact that it was oceanfront was the icing on the cake! We enjoyed the balcony so much…between drinking our coffee, eating meals, playing games and just enjoying the ocean. The miles long walking/bike path actually starts at this location and we took several memorable walks/bike rides on it. First time in Hawaii/Kauai and this is the perfect location to explore the whole island (whether we were heading north, west or south on any particular day) which we did all week and had an absolutely fabulous time…made memories that will last a lifetime! Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was perfectly located for us. It was easy to get to either the Princeville & Hanalei areas or Poipu & Waimea. There were plenty of restaurants, food trucks & grocery stores located nearby. The local shopping opportunities are great. The bed and living room furniture was comfortable. The entire condo, including the kitchen was well stocked. The condo was clean and well cared for. While there is a rock shelf in front of the grounds making it not swimmable, Lydgate Beach is a short drive and is a wonderful park and great beach with calm waters for little kids or adults who don’t appreciate waves. There is a nice pool and hot tub at the condo. The other two things I would mention are that this unit is on the second floor and there is no elevator. For anyone who has trouble with stairs, that would be an issue. There was a room air conditioner in the bedroom that kept the bedroom very comfortable. There was a big fan in the living room and you can get cross ventilation. We closed the big curtains in the day when we were out exploring and that kept the unit from overheating. A small fan in the bathroom would have been very nice as with the door shut, it gets very warm in the bathroom, even with the exhaust fan on, since there is no window in the bathroom. We would definitely stay in this condo again. Making reservations was easy and any questions we had were answered quickly.

Location was convenient to restaurants, bike path and centrally located for traveling around island. There is no beach in front of this property but there is a great view of the ocean. Property management provided clear, ongoing information, communication. We enjoyed hiking all around the island. Recommend hiking boots in winter! Expect Mud. If it's raining north could be sunny south. Nice bike ride along the ocean for morning. Rented from Boss Frog's. Great lunch at the Fish Deli and Tiki's tacos in Kapaa. Nice dinner at Duke's.
