Dreamy Beachfront Studio! 1BR

Suggestion for items to have in the room would be beach towels, insulated mugs/cups to keep coffee warm and cold drinks cold, and a small cooler to be able to put snacks in as people explore the island. I recommend people taking a screenshot of arrival instructions for parking, how to find the unit, and gate code because service can be bad and VRBO app doesn’t always load well until you’re on WiFi. I used this unit as a place to shower and sleep as it was a great location to go all over the island. This location definitely has a the best sunrise view. But the beach is full of debris (plastic mechanical parts, lighters, clothing, bedding, etc) and it is rocky. There really isn’t a good spot to swim. Plus with the massive whale sandbags stacked, the beach right there was an eyesore. Other nearby properties had cleaner beaches so not sure if it’s this specific property that just doesn’t clean up their beach area well. Because it’s one of the only units that doesn’t have AC you’re at the mercy of others volume level. The other people staying there were not always quiet and at 1am it gets irritating. So use this place with the understanding it’s a comfortable to place to shower, regroup after lots of island touring, and see the sunrise. Not necessarily to relax on the beach. I still had a great price point for the location and did a lot around Kauai-that I wouldn’t change at all. I truly loved my time seeing the island. These are all things I, or the owner, could not control.

Nice, clean condo; easy beach access

Overall the room was fine. It was moderately clean but not as clean as I prefer. The kitchen area was very small and really wasn't useable or very clean. The bed was comfortable, the room stayed a nice temperature and the bathroom was very large and nice. The windows are kind of an open style for airflow-it's great for this purpose, however it's really not great for any privacy. We felt a little uncomfortable. People would be walking two feet away from you go to the bathroom, it was just a little odd. Directions to find the room are tricky-but the host does as good of a job as possible directing you to the right room. Parking was simple and have the beach accessible just a short walk away was great. I personally wouldn't stay again, but I think it could be great depending on what you're looking to spend your money on.

This was a great location, central to restaurant's and beaches. The host was easy to communicate with. Easy check in and out! The condo had everything you needed for a week stay. I would recommend!

We had an amazing stay! Loved walking out the door each morning and watching the sunrise. Nothing fancy but met all our needs. Centrally located on the island.

Room was small but had a large comfy clean bed. Room was clean, bathroom clean. Location was perfect.

Great Location!

Great place overall. Convenient location, beach access, easy parking, microwave and utensils, comfortable stay. The WiFi was spotty and difficult to connect at times, but it wasn't a problem because we were out most of the time and wanted a break from internet anyway. Enjoyed watching the sunrise from right outside the unit.

The room was perfect for what I needed. Host was super responsive e and great to work with.

Unfortunately, this property was not as we expected in a couple ways.1. The bathroom window, which is pictured and is large with no curtains and directly across from the toilet, is immediately onto the main walkway of the complex, which we were not expecting. This had heavy traffic, and while the window is frosted, it was more transparent than we expected, allowing some visibility into the bathroom for passerby’s, especially at night. This lack of privacy on the toilet and in the bathroom was problematic for us.2. While we stayed there, the trade winds were not aligned with the windows of the unit, resulting in poor airflow through the unit. The host heavily advertised these trade winds to cool down the unit and eliminate the need for AC. The temperature in the unit was 80 degrees according to the gauges on the provided fans at 10 PM despite leaving the entire place aired out for 5 hours prior. We also had a bad experience because rowdy guests shot off fireworks outside our unit (it was New Year’s Eve) and our open windows resulted in smoke entering the unit and us needing to vacate the unit. This portion is completely outside of the hosts control, however, the exaggeration about airflow and the unexpected privacy were still problematic.To top it all off, the hosts were very unsympathetic and unwilling to provide a partial refund for any of the remaining nights of our stay after we vacated the property on night 1 of 4.

Host was very quick to respond when automated lock failed. Check in and out process was very simple and directions for parking were easy to navigate.

This beachfront studio was a great location to stay in the Kapa'a area, with direct access to a beach and ability to watch sunrises every morning. The unit itself was clean, with the king-sized bed taking up most of the main space as well. It was also nice to have beach chairs available within the unit to use during our stay.Communication with Dave was great during our time there, with detailed check-in and check-out instructions provided. There is also a shopping plaza conveniently located across the street, with a Safeway along with other shops as well. Would definitely recommend this property to others!

Well kept grounds. Quiet complex. Clean and adequate swimming pool. Great communication from host. Exactly as described. Great place for a single or a couple to crash at the end of a day of sight seeing. Nothing exotic…basically a large hotel room…but that’s what we expected for the price and that’s what we wanted. Would rent again.

No ice was available or coffee for the first morning. Parking was on the grass. It was clean and safe feeling.

I was pleased with the accommodations. The property was very quiet. The shower head was strong. The bed was comfortable. There were beach chairs and fins in the condo, which was much appreciated. The property is centrally located, so you can spend time on the North and South side of the island without having to drive too far. As a healthy eater, I was able to find some good options but it did take some research and at times, luck. My only complaint is that it did get a little too warm at night.

I have T-Mobile and had no service inside the unit and it was spotty by the window. Place is as described no A/C but good cross wind and 4 tower fans to put where you like and a ceiling fan. Be sure you're aware of proximity of window to bed and toilet if you're shy. Beach is closer to the front door than the parking lot which was great.

The fact that we could stay ON the beach with a really nice room for this price was so great. If you don't need to cook your food this is a great place for you and your partner to rent for your vacation.

Loved this little place with the jalousie windows! It was beautiful here and perfect for the two of us!

Great little condo, everything is listed as stated. We went in April and we were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open and fans going. The location is great for getting around the island. The bed was comfortable, and just what we needed when we were out and about all day.

This vacation was about doing and exploring for us, so we really just needed a clean place to lay our heads each night and shower etc. We got that and more! Such a beautiful view of the ocean outside the condo and to fall asleep listening to the waves was so calming. No kitchenette, but has all the basics we needed!

Facility was better than expected. As a frequent traveler I take the marketing and photo impressions with a grain of salt. Many are overrated by a star or two but this condo complex was superb. It’s smaller than most but centrally located for easy shopping (making small meal and snack prep easy. Neighbor noise was noticeable but not overwhelming and the staff cleaned communal areas daily with a beautiful pool. beach and handy rec room. Grills were clean and easy to use. As a cyclist i enjoyed easy access to the bike/hike trail.and local bus with bike rack a short walk from the condo. Rates are reasonable for the stay

It has a gear centrality. Easy access to the entire island and many stores.Clean room. Detailed instruction. Easy parking. Comfortable bed.

We had great stay.

Love the apartment and location but few things that were not mentioned in the listing was the lack of an AC unit and also lack of privacy due to the window in the bathroom had no blinds nor curtains. It was so hot even with the fans. I could see and hear people walking by while in the bathroom as it was the main walkway for a lot of the units in.

I traveled by myself, and this stay was exactly what I needed! Location was great, parking was easy, the studio was clean and well organized. I loved that the complex has a pool right next to the beach, and the beach was very convenient to relax. Thank you David!

This studio is just what you need. Big and comfy bed, spacious and clean restroom. Everything you need when in Kauai. I liked this unit very much, a few steps from the beach. Can’t go wrong staying here
