Kana'i A Nalu is located in the heart of Ma'alaea. This four-story resort sits on 3 acres of manicured grounds. Sugar Beach is the longest beach on Maui and is perfect for a long beach stroll. This sandy shoreline stretches for about 2.5 miles (4 km), from Haycraft Park in Ma'alaea all the way to north Kihei.
Nearby you'll find many attractions, shops and restaurants. Walk to Maui Ocean Center (Aquarium), take a sunset sail or whale watching tour from the nearby harbor, play miniature golf and more at Maui Golf & Sports Park, or shop at the Maui Harbor Shops. Ma'alaea is located in central Maui, bringing you closer to many excursions such as Hana or Haleakala. The resort is about 15 minutes away from the Kahului airport and 30 minutes to Lahaina.

Lovely unit, great location and everything was in good condition. The only drawback was it was very warm in the one bedroom that lacked an a/c unit. Otherwise, the unit and the rental company were great and I would use them again.
Absolutely loved our stay!!
We had to call MyPerfect Stays to address problems with these items from day one to day 7 (we stayed 21 days): insufficient number of towels, incorrect instructions for TVs and dead batteries in remotes, and still frustrating to get the local channels. Then the dryer had an issue and made an insane noise-- that required a few calls to coordinate a tech....vacuum was in different pieces and didn't function. The bathroom sink in the master has mold in the caulking around the drain and faucet.... that grew as we were there. No cleaning wipes or spray available.... so the first 7 days were very stressful dealing with these things. Our 85 tear old mom has come to this island for 59 years... this was quite disappointing.
This was an excellent place to stay. Great central location, and very near a public beach access.
Only a quick walk to harbor and local beach made for happy kids and hassle free access to the aquatic center and harbor excursions. The condo property was amazing. Beautiful grass area for picnics and bbq. Amazing pool! The residents were kind and engaging. The location was central to almost every activity on the island. A bunch of beach and snorkel gear, chairs, cooler, and an umbrella were in the second bedroom. The property has a wash off station so you can rinse sand off. The in-condo laundry was a time saver! It was quiet enough to run while we slept. The beds were super comfy! The patio furniture was also comfortable. The condo is on the middle section of the property so we didn’t get early morning or late afternoon direct sun. That meant when we were at home we could enjoy the views from the patio. With kids, the glass top tables were nerve wracking. The beach shown in the photo had washed away. We weren’t sure if this was due to recent storms or a winter beach profile. There was a sandy beach adjacent to the property though so it worked out ok. The cleaners do an ok job, but not great. Guests are directed to keep all food in airtight containers but none are provided. We used the microwave as a cabinet. The coffee table was in the way. But it worked well as a behind the sofa table. Half of both bedroom closets are storage. Useable closet space is limited.
We had a great stay there, the place is in overall good condition and the view from the Lani is perfect for whale watching! Just down the street is the harbor with lots to offer in the way of tours and great restaurants! In particular Tante's fish market! They offer great food at a reasonable price! The steak and lobster is great as well as the Ahi!
The facilities are as comfortable as home, and they try to provide help quickly when there is a problem. The location is also the best for traveling around the entire island of Maui. I highly recommend this condo.

I stayed here for a week with my friend and we had an incredible time! The condo was absolutely lovely and incredibly clean. We had everything we needed, from regular amenities, to beach supplies and snorkel gear! There was also a very lovely basket greeting us when we arrived to welcome us. The view from the second story balcony in the room is stellar. I spent every morning out there with my coffee, and finished the day by taking in the sea breezes and the sounds of waves in the evenings. It is right on the beach, which goes on forever, so if you are like me and you are all about the beach walks, this is your spot! The condo was also conveniently located. You are right by the aquarium, and the harbor nearby has tons of snorkel tours that leave from the bay. Kihei is a short 15/20 minute drive south, and Lahaina is only about 25 minutes north. I was able to access all corners of the island pretty easily in my rental car from this centralized spot. I highly recommend this condo. Next time I hope to stay for more than a week!
