Kamaole Sands Remodeled 1 Bed 2 bathroom, Split AC, king bed

We enjoyed our stay in Kihei and this condo had a prime location with easy access to some of the best beaches. Easy drive into both Kihei and Wailea for restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed having access to the beach chairs, towels, and umbrella. Also having in unit washer & dryer was super valuable to us. Our only issue was a lack of hot water-there wasn’t enough hot water to last one person a 10 minute shower. Host was very responsive. While check in ended up being easy, it wasn’t super clear to us that we had to stop at the Kamaole Sands concierge desk before heading to the unit.

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We appreciated having the beach towels, chairs and boogie boards available. One thing that could be improved was the check in process with the property. We stopped in after a long travel day to pay the AOA fee and the process took almost an hour (which included waiting in line). I understand we may have just hit it at a bad time, but all of the check in details (and even payment) could have been collected electronically. I know this has nothing to do with the owner (and is specific to how the property does business) and we will absolutely recommend this spot to friends and family!

Awesome place! There's great a/c, comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, a laundry center, clean bathrooms, and even some beach items. I spent a few days here, and it was nice to come back to this home after long days, or just stay in and lounge around. It was also CLEAN in every part, and felt like home. Beach is right across the street, and food places and stores are not too far away. Would definitely stay here again and again.

Great location, the host was always kind and helpful with any questions we had! Amazing grounds and beautiful place. Some kitchen appliances that were needed were not provided but that was no problem. Overall we had an amazing time and hope to be back soon!

The location was awesome, Kamaole Sands grounds were beautiful and well maintained, and the condo is really nice. The communication with the host was great, with quick responses. We were able to extend our stay by one day, which we appreciated.Apartment was beautifully renovated and well stocked, the only thing we did not find in the kitchen was tongs. It was mostly clean, with just a few spots missed; for example, we found some dirty spoons that were obviously used and just put back in a kitchen drawer without being washed (most likely by the previous guests), or some hair that was not ours in the main bathroom. The owner provided a beach umbrella, chairs and a boogie board, which was appreciated. Some of the chairs and the umbrella will need to be replaced soon. These things are minor and did not deter from our stay. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back.The only thing I did not like was receiving at least 2 messages asking for a 5-star review before we even arrived. The condo speaks for itself, so this was not necessary. As an analyst and a researcher, I know asking for 5-star review upfront may actually deter people from rating the place in the first place. :)

Everything was perfect and beautiful. I had 2 safety issues though. The jealousy turn knob does not fully close the window and can just be pulled right off. We wete ok but maybe that should be fixed to ensure no one can break in. Also the glass Tupperware in the drawer apparently was cracked and i didnt notice that so when i washed it it sliced my finger and i was bleeding pretty bad. I looked in the firat aid kit in the drawer only to find that thwre was nothi g but 2 pairs of gloves. I had ro stop the bleeding witb paper towels and tied a cut tshirt around my finger to use as a bandaid. Those should be replaced. Byt other thank that everything else was perfecr and we will stay again

The condo was clean and had all of the items we needed for an Aloha experience. The kitchen was our favorite! The grounds were beautiful, and the pool and bbq areas were immaculate. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great communication from the owners as well! Mahalo, Joe.

We had such a wonderful time at this unit. It was in a great location for enjoying the beaches of Wailea and Kihei. The kids loved the pool and the property was beautiful. The unit is nicely updated! Very quiet considering not an end unit or top floor unit. Our host was quick to respond to a few inquiries we had at the beginning of our stay. We can’t wait to come back again soon

We absolutely loved our stay here--it was a great start to our wonderful Maui vacation! The location in the heart of Kihei was great--near the beach, restaurants, and shops. The unit is beautifully decorated in a calming and relaxing style. The kitchen felt brand new, and was stocked with everything we needed to cook or prepare a meal. Beach chairs, towels, and snorkel equipment were also a great unexpected benefit. We loved eating breakfast on the lanai, and had a great view from there of the Kamaole Sands' complex.

We could not emphasize enough how great our stay was at Joe’s place. We frequently enjoyed the morning breeze on the lanai, equipped with a couple chairs and a table. If we wanted to have breakfast or any meal, Joe’s place had all of the necessary items such as cups, plates, pans, pots, utensils, etc. Ultimately, we felt right at home. Not to mention, there were beginning supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and much more so we did not have to make a trip to the groceries which we highly appreciate. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Maui, please do not hesitate to book Joe’s place as it really has everything you would need as a home base while providing ample comfort. We also appreciate Joe’s response time and always being willing to help. Additionally, the property has a pool, hot tub, and tennis/pickleball courts (must reserve time slots). We also really loved the location, as it was walkable to the local areas and a short 5-10 minute drive to the Wailea areas. Overall, we would 100% come back to Joe’s and can’t wait to be back!

We had a wonderful stay with my family at Joe's place. The listing is accurate and the place has been recently beautifully remodeled. Spacious bedroom, baths and big living area with pullout sofa. Very clean, and stocked with utensils even some food items like spices, coffee etc.The place had everything we needed for our stay. 4 mins walk to the beach. Joe was super responsive anytime we had a question. As we go to Maui almost every Thanksgiving, I'll be looking for this property again, no doubt.

Stayed here with 2 friends for 6 nights. Lovely accommodation very close to the beach. Everything you need, especially a very well equipped kitchen in case you love to cook. Would book it again.

We had a lovely stay at Joe’s condo! We were both pleasantly surprised by how spacious and well appointed the condo was. We had everything we needed for time at the beach (ie chairs, towels, snorkel gear) and if we had chosen to cook, we would have also had absolutely anything that we needed. The bed was quite comfortable and we had excellent sleeps with the AC. The location was perfect for exploring the island and would definitely return/recommend this spot!

We had such a great stay! The apartment was spacious and very clean with a nice view of the grounds. It was recently remodeled and a great location across from our favorite beach (kamaole III). I would recommend the apartment without hesitation!

My husband and I booked this property for our trip and it is exactly as described and pictured. The condo had everything we needed and was beautifully renovated. The view from the patio allowed us to watch the sunset every night. The beach chairs and umbrella and towels were perfect for our beach adventures. A/C was great with one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. The bed was so comfortable, we both slept very well which generally isn’t common for us. The property had everything we needed, the pool was perfect for a late night swim or when the wind got crazy on the beach with shade provided by umbrellas if desired. The property also had a concierge who you could rent paddle boards, chairs, etc from if you needed. We didn’t have a card but the parking spot was close to the entrance. I would definitely recommend this place to stay and will definitely stay there again when we go back. .

We had a great stay. The property had everything you could need from kitchen utensils to beach supplies (snorkeling gear, umbrella, chairs, cooler). We slept great, used the pool and pickleball courts, and had the condo serve as a home base for many adventures.

We stayed here for 6 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday and enjoy a Maui vacation. The property is clean and well maintained, with lots of thoughtful touches to make a beach stay relaxing and enjoyable. We walked to the beach daily (less than 5 mins) and had easy acess to downtown Kihei and Wailea. Highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in South Maui!

Property was very clean and well furnished and cozy. All of the locals said that the location was the best for getting the most experience out of Maui while not paying resort prices in Wailea. Was able to see the a lot of the island and also enjoyed the resort at the Kamaole Sands. Check in was easy and one time resort fee of $40 was very reasonable as it included parking for the duration of the stay.

A very well designed space, great layout and finishes. The professionally designed space really brought out the best in this place from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the decor. Everything was well organized and clean. Kitchen fully stocked with everything needed to cook a meal. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. AC kept the entire apartment cold. Also provided were beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and more. Everything needed for a fun Maui day! Will definitely stay here again.

Our stay at this Maui condo was absolutely fantastic! The location couldn't have been more ideal for exploring everything Maui has to offer. It was incredibly easy to access the park, beach, grocery store, local eateries, bars, and shopping spots—all within a short drive or even walking distance. Don't miss out on the food trucks nearby—they're a hidden gem! Parking was stress-free with a convenient gated lot, and the office staff were exceptionally kind and helpful throughout our stay. The condo itself had an updated and modern feel, making it a pleasure to relax in after a day of adventures. The kitchen was fully stocked with clean appliances and top-notch cooking pots and utensils from name brands, which made cooking meals a breeze. Communication with Joe, the host, was prompt and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The highlight for us was the clean pool and multiple jacuzzis on site—perfect for unwinding, especially with live entertainment on Wednesdays! They even provided additional supplies for the pool and beach, including life vests, towels, a beach umbrella, and chairs, which made beach days carefree and enjoyable. Overall, this condo had everything we needed to feel right at home in Maui. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in paradise!

This was one of the best vacation rentals we have stayed in. Most places there are cons to consider, but this space checks all the boxes. The space is even bigger in person than in the photos. For a couple, it is quite spacious due to the massive kitchen with open concept living room. You can easily have a family stay here with kids sleeping on the pull out (the latter we did not use). We noticed the high quality appliances, fixtures and tools, with excellent upkeep of the space. We searched to find a spot that was modern and relaxing, and this space is it. Parking was very easily and its an excellent location to get around the island. We went out every day to a new beach/spot to see Maui. Alternatively - you can walk across the street to a great family friendly beach (Kam 3). I would return and recommend to family/friends

We came over from Big Island for our anniversary. This country no was perfect and had everything we could possibly need including an adult hot tub near the pool! Can’t wait to stay here again ❤️

We couldn't have asked for a better home base in Maui for the week. Our family of 3 (my husband, our 10-year-old daughter, and me) were so comfortable, and the location and view from this condo can't be beat! The condo was well-equipped, and everything was a short drive or walk away, including the beach park, food trucks, Foodland, and shops. It was nice to have A/C and a washer/dryer on site. We will definitely look to stay here the next time we visit! =)

We really enjoyed our stay in Kihei at Joe's place. The apartment is equipped with everything you might need to explore the area, then come home and fix a meal if you'd like. The property is clean, homey, and Joe was very responsive when the AC didn't seem to be cooling enough. He sent someone right away who took care of it that same morning. I would recommend staying here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stayi in this bright, comfortable condo. We loved the decor, the well equipped kitchen, the view, the privacy and location within the complex.

We had a great time at Kamole Sands and really appreciated the renovated suite. It was well equipped with beach extras (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, child floatie and kids toys). Joe was very responsive to questions and check in was easy (note there is a $40ish dollar condo fee that has to be paid at the office ASAP). Overall, a nice stay and the Kamaole Sands property is meticulously maintained. That being said, the main property doesn't seem to have enough amenities for the 400 or so units it has and it appeared to be at least 90% occupied when we were there. We ended up waiting for barbeques - some not working great, and pool was on the small side for how busy the place was so we didn't use it much, however, the access to Kam beaches II and III made up for it. There isn't great views of the ocean, however, the green space and distance from the busy road made up for it and would still recommend the property overall when seeing what other buildings in the vicinity were exposed to with street noise etc.

We had a wonderful time at Kamaole Sands, the condo was better than the pictures. Close (walking distance) to beaches, restaurants, etc. The condo was well stocked and had everything we needed on hand. We would definitely stay at Joes place again!

I have been to Maui a few times now, and this place is a true 5 star experience. Everything is there if you want to go to the beach, also all the amenities are great. I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend.
