For the best oceanfront shopping and dining, head .5 miles down to Ali'i Drive. Shopping, you'll find anything you need from "slippahs" (flip-flops) to board shorts, to jewelry. Dining you can have a wide range of experiences from breakfast at Lava Java to a happy hour at Laverne's, Huggo's, or even mainland favorite Outback Steakhouse. Spacious, clean
Clean but a little outdated. Close t o dining & shopping .

It was nice to stay at an establishment that lived up to its high rating. We enjoyed our stay very very much. Everything was great
This property was adequate for our needs however there were several disappointing items. There were many stairs at this property and no elevator that was not clearly disclosed, difficult for people with mobility issues. The parking space was far from the unit. The condo was a little tired. The description claimed it had been recently updated but the only thing we saw was newer flooring in the bedroom and living room. The bath tub was dirty and stained. The A/C in the living room was not adequate to cool the entire unit, had the temperature been higher it would have been very uncomfortable. We would not rent this unit again.
Some reviews claimed it was dated. The place isn’t bad at all. A fan in the bathroom would be my only comment. The rest of the place was great. You’re only a 8 minutes walk to the main stretch of restaurants, beaches, cafe etc A ten minute drive from the airport. We’d loved our stay here.
Property was as described and communication was easy. Good location for our needs. Was hard to locate where to put garbage at end of stay. Would book again.
Clean, contact was easy when code wasn’t working. All amenities were in condo. Pool very nice.
Nice location, close to downtown
Close to downtown Kona. There was no hot tub as advertised, no hair dryer as advertised, smoke/CO2 alarm started chirping midway through our visit as battery was old so have we did not have protection, very little furniture, bed was way too high off the ground and shower did not have a safety grab bar which was needed and kitchen was minimally stocked, ie no pitcher for water. I would not return to this unit or recommend to anyone.
AC worked great, everything was clean and comfortable (newer shower head was nice), condo completed had quiet neighbors. Right around the corner from Safeway.
