Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home was perfect in every way possible. Plenty of space for our large family, and every possible amenity you can ask for, from kitchen utensils, to life jackets, boogie boards, sand toys, flashlights, etc. The list can go on and on. Management was very professional and also checked up on us several times during our stay. The only suggestion I could make is the signs warning about locking your valuables because of possible crime in the area is in every room of the house, and can give the feeling of anxiety rather than relaxation. Lawyers are not in the vacation rental home business and sometimes protecting yourself legally can have adverse affects on the guests. Let me stress that I ALWAYS felt safe in the area and never experienced any crime whatsoever. We look forward to coming back here many times. Thank you!

This home is beautiful and spacious, all the bedrooms have their own bathroom and there was plenty of space both inside and outside for our group. We especially enjoyed the wall of windows in the living room and dining room. Since we were coming from the Central Time Zone and up early, we really enjoyed watching the sun come up from those rooms. The beach is just a short walk from the house and both the neighborhood and the beach are in a quiet and safe area. There is a grocery store and Starbucks very close and Kailua Town is close also and easy to get to. We very much enjoyed our stay in Place in Paradise.

What a perfect location! On a peaceful, quiet street just steps from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! The house is laid out perfectly with plenty of common areas for gathering and dedicated bathrooms for each of the well-appointed bedrooms. All the cooking utensils you could ever need for the kitchen, and plenty of recreational beach equipment in the garage. Communication with property management was easy and accommodating, with any questions we had answered immediately. This property is a real gem!

This is a great property, absolutely beautiful! It sits on a beautiful, quiet beach. The house is clean and in excellent condition, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed; beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coolers. It was perfect for our family to include our grandkids. Check in was easy and the management was accessible, knowledgeable, and helpful. We would definitely rent this beach house again and highly recommend it to any family looking for a great get away that accommodates a large family and/or friends.

We are a family of 12 three generations and made wonderful memories as we enjoyed the beach, the pool and the surrounding areas.Growing up on the East Coast I frequented the New Jersey shore every summer. Though I still remember Width fondness, my time there, it cannot compare to the exquisite scenery and inviting Waters of this site.The home is well maintained with comfortable bedding, more than enough towels, ready, laundry facility, and room enough for everyone to have their own space. Each of the 5 bedrooms has its own full bath. The kitchen is well stocked and with a family room and living room there is space for our 5 grandsons to have their own space for games while others can enjoy the view while sitting in the living room with it wall of windows looking out on the beach. The private athletic club down the street is another super feature with the grandsons playing basketball, pickle ball and swimming. But the best part of the property is the gorgeous “backyard” beach. Everyone enjoys that the most! The only suggestion we have for the house is to update some of the furniture and other lesser items hence the four stars on the property’s general condition. The property management team is great and very responsive. We have stayed here for the past four summers and treasure all the wonderful memories we have been able to create. We hope to be able to continue to make this home our annual gathering place!

A perfect family trip & visit back home in the Islsnds. Kailua VRBO was a super spot to enjoy paradise. Our Property manager was outstanding.

We were very happy with our family vacation at Place in Paradise. The house was just as it was represented by the online photos. It was clean, well cared for, easy access to beach, pool and tennis court. Our party of 10 had lots of room to spread out as well as all be together in one room. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very helpful. Outside breezes, especially in the morning were lovely. Tropical afternoons were managed with fans or more outside time. The beach was very nice, and even though it was not private it was very comfortable for our party, never crowded. Location was perfect for our family with our variety of ages. Sunrise views from the balconies were especially stunning! Would highly recommend Place in Paradise.

All the kids and grandkids had a fantastic time learning about the island and how our Ohana came in the early 1800's. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 6 adults and 7 kids. The views - breath taking, the beach - perfection. The bedrooms - gorgeous. The Kitchen - perfection. We even had a private chef come in and she was IMPRESSED. Kid frienly, tons of room, CLEAN, nothing was broken, private, outddor space, indoor space was exceptional. Parking was perfect. The enighbors, super friendly. All in all a wonderful stay.

I took my family to Kailua for my Mom’s 80th birthday. The property was perfect! The house was ocean front which afforded us the ease of getting her and my Dad to the beach even with their mobility issues. The house is well equipped for an 8 day stay. I did have to purchase was a bath chair bc the downstairs bathrooms did not have a seat or hand rail in any of the showers.

The rental experience through the property managers was seamless, timely and highly professional. The location is stunning and convenient to everything we needed, and the home elf was perfectly appointed, right down to sharp kitchen knives. Plenty of beach chairs, boards, towels and outdoor seating. The home is very well maintained, and all of the appliances and HVAC worked perfectly. It’s just a lovely home in a wonderful community.

House is just off the beach. It was exactly what qI was looking for our family vacation. Communication with property manager is top notch. They had a nice welcome basket filled with goodies. Air conditioning in bedrooms only. Main part of house has ceiling fans but is warm.instruction folder give tips on where to go and all property policy.

We took our coffee to the beach to watch the sunrise each morning. Great location for kids - easy to go back and forth to the house for supplies and for naps. We grilled each night. Loved that AC was not central, as we like to invite the Hawaiian breezes in. People could keep their bedrooms cool at night with AC or with fans. Super clean on arrival and very helpful property manager. We’ll be back!

We rented the place for a 5 couple retreat to celebrate our 40th birthdays. It had everything we could have asked for and was perfect for us! We really enjoyed being away from the main Waikiki area and would visit again.

Most ideal setting with the beach, pool, and pickle ball courts just steps away, and so much space in the home that has beautiful furniture. Our combined families loved it! Everyone had comfortable bedrooms, really nice to have extra fridg/freezers, and double washing machines was great, too. Great attention to detail without being over the top. Delivers what you want in a vacation rental(plenty of beach towels, well equipped kitchen, tasteful decor, very comfortable). We stayed with family and friends- immediately felt at home. Location is made for daily beach walk(or two). Town a close drive, and walkable grocery, restaurant and takeout places too. Local Hawaii strip mall places- with killer poke, musubi, garlic shrimp . . . Very professionally managed property. Everything you need. Fun basket of local goods upon arrival. Thank you!

Due to recent storm and flooding the shore water was contaminated and brown the entire week we were there. Otherwise everything else was as advertised.

Place in Paradise was far beyond any of the many vacation rental we've ever stayed. We came to celebrate our 50th anniversary by bringing our 2 daughters, their husbands and our 2 teen grandchildren.This home provided the perfect backdrop to make and share forever memories. Alia (prop mgr) met us at the home and introduced us all to the property. She presented us with a huge Hawaiian-themed food basket, which we worked on for several days! She also gave us her cell # to text for anything, and was quick to answer our questions. Alia was such a pro! With her recommendation, we had our 1st meal prepared and served by a great personal chef. What a great assist she was. It was a fabulous way to settle in! A small brick sitting wall is all that separated the white sand beach from the back yard. We all spent hours on the beach enjoying the water as we swam and played with all the of beach equipment (boogy boards, chairs, umbrellas, etc). The home itself was big enough that everyone had their own room and bathroom for privacy. And the 2 large family rooms and outdoor patio areas gave space for time together. The spacious kitchen allowed several "cooks in the kitchen" and was stocked with great equipment and supplies. Even the knives were sharp! Both the indoor and outdoor dining furniture had plenty of size and seating for us all to sit, eat and laugh together. We set out to make and share memories at Place in Paradise...and it was one for the books! Everyone should be so lucky.

The layout allows each family to have their own space and we gather every evening for family dinner at the large dining room table. It provides easy access to the beach and all the equipment is available to use. We played pickle ball and used the pool some but mostly enjoyed the beach and the waves. Although it was windier than usual, we walked the beach and rode the waves everyday. Alia and Lisa took care of all our needs quickly. We would love to come back again!
