Our beautiful home has been featured in Hawaii Home Magazine and has received a best in class award from the Hawaii Builders Association. The home is within a 2 minute walk to Kailua Beach Park, the Kalapawai Market and Buzz's Steak house. There is ocean, mountain and canal views and a modern open floor plan.
This property is ideal for two couples with children. There is an outdoor bar, outdoor hot water shower, and a hot tub. We rent our home only on occasion and therefore there are only a few reviews.

This house was perfect for our family of 5. The house was very well kept and had everything we could have possibly wanted. We have 3 children who enjoyed everything from the hot tub in the back yard to playing basketball out front. As a family we spent everyday exploring the island, however on most of those day we wished we would have stay back at the house to enjoy the beach right outside the back gate. The home owner was also very accommodating and easy to reach. This is a Great location and is highly recommended.

Tom and Kara have a beautiful home in Kailua. Just a few minutes walk to the beach and close to all other amenities. The home is on a quiet culdesac. The beds and linens were comfortable and everything you might need was available including dishes, towels, cookware, full sized washer/dryer and beach chairs. Tom and Kara were very responsive during the booking process, and checked in to make sure everything was going well. Visiting other parts of the island by car was easy from this location. I highly recommended this beautiful home!
Wow, paradise in Kailua. Thank you Tom and Kara for opening your home to us over the holidays. Location was perfect and conveniently located just a 5 minute walk to the aqua blue water and power sand of Kailua Beach. Your large fenced in back yard was perfect for our children to play while we enjoyed drinks at the bar and a dip in the hot tub after a busy day of shopping in Kailua town. When we didn't eat at home it was so convenient to walk across the bridge to Buzz's Steakhouse a tiki hut-style restaurant or into Kailua town that offers many nice places to eat. The second floor living area offered an outstanding view of the mountains while enjoying our morning coffee. The awesome view from the family room overlooking your lush green tropical landscaping will remain in our thoughts when we reminisce about our Hawaii "home away from home". To put it "in a nut shell" this is our idea of an enjoyable, restful vacation with our family even though Honolulu is just 45 minutes away for those seeking a touristy vacation. Thank you again Tom and Kara, we would love to return again one day if the opportunity arises. Bill and Donna
