New Heated Swim Spa! Enjoy our brand-new heated swim spa, measuring 16 ft long × 7.5 ft wide × 5 ft deep, fully covered under the roof for comfortable, all-weather use. One end features jetted seating for up to three, while the swim side offers a strong current ideal for swimming in place or low-impact workouts—even for taller swimmers. A skylight above the spa end fills the space with natural light, creating a relaxing yet functional retreat day or night.
Upon entering the gated property, you’ll be enveloped in a tranquil oasis of rare tropical foliage and soothing ocean breezes. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, the property provides maximum privacy and security, with sculpted rock walls, exterior lighting, and a security system with cameras.
The home’s open-concept layout features a chef’s kitchen with premium appliances, flowing seamlessly into the dining and living areas — all oriented to frame the panoramic ocean views. Both bedrooms in the main house offer queens bed, air conditioning, Roku Smart TVs, ceiling fans, and spectacular views of the Pacific.
Additional features include:
Two separate studio units (one with a Queen bed, the other with a California King), each with its own bathroom, ceiling fan, kitchenette, and TV. (Please note: parties of 2 will not have access to the loft studio.)

Nature Note: This sea-cliff home is in a very natural area of Hawaiʻi. As with most island homes, you may occasionally see small, harmless creatures like geckos (a local symbol of good luck) or insects. We recommend keeping screen doors closed, especially in the evenings.

We loved this house and will be back! It is much more beautiful than the pictures decribe. Every room has an ocean view. The beds and furniture are comfortable. We saw wales from the deck!
Our family visited the Big Island to see our son and his family ( residence of the Puna District). Our 2 adult daughters and their partners stayed with us at Kehena house. Wonderful accommodations and great location. Well appointed kitchen, great views from every room and easy access to the beach. House.

This place was magical! Very clean but does need some upgrading done. We would definitely stay again, especially if there was AC! Owners and caretakers are top-notch! It's like a little paradise!
We were two couples celebrating our 70th birthdays in beautiful Hawaii. The beach house was an incredible highlight to our trip! The views are breathtaking!! The house has a unique floor plan which actually makes it feel even larger than it is. There are so many extra touches, like the hot tub and fire table. The owner made it very easy to communicate and to check in and out. We hated to leave!
It’s beautiful. Truly a paradise. Gorgeous vistas from every angle except the clothing optional beach. Not the best with teens The cold showers the last day were a bit uncomfortable. Aside from that and the forced damage insurance and higher than normal fees, it was a very spacious home. Mahalo
Breathtaking views. My wife still (after 10 days) can't stop talking about viewing the sunrise from this house. We also saw wild dolphins swim in the ocean. The property offers some of the most excellent views we have ever seen of the ocean. The drive to this property feels a little remote (about 12 minutes on 130 and 6 minutes on 137), but that's the price you pay for experiencing nature so up close.
Fantastic place to get away from it all. Overlooks the ocean, great sunrise. Not for those who want the action of someplace like Waikiki or Kona.
Our family of 6 had a wonderful 5 night stay at this immaculate home on the big island’s wild and rugged side. The house is amazing. If you enjoy sleeping to the sound of crashing waves, this property is going to be a dream for you. Though it sits on a high cliff, the huge waves below relentlessly crash against the lava rock coastline, and the ambiance is spectacular. Everything you want in a 5 star house is there as expected, and it’s clean and super comfortable. One note that should be known is that there is no AC in this house. However, you open all the screened windows, get the breeze going, and the sound of the waves, and it’s perfect. We were there in July, so it did get stuffy a few times, but we used fans in the bedrooms to solve that issue. I would guess at most times of the year even no fans would be needed. The location is remote and quite an experience. The closet town is Pāhoa, which is about a 15-20 min drive. There you’ll find everything you need such as a wonderful grocery store, many food options, and what I personally feel is the best breakfast place I’ve ever eaten at - Pele’s Grill. Trust me on that one, you must go and experience the love in their food. It’s amazing. Joy and Freedom are the hosts. We were graciously greeted on arrival, had our questions answered, and then they left us alone. If we needed anything we could call, but we never did. It was a good experience. Great experience!
