Property Overview
Beach Villas at Kahalu’u is one of the newest condo complexes built along the lush Kona Coast on Alii Drive. It is located directly across the street from historic Kahalu’u Beach Park. Hawaiian people once fished and surfed here, and chieftains bathed in pools that are preserved on site. Today Kahalu’u Beach Park is a destination for all who love the sea, especially snorkelers, scuba divers and surfers! You will be amazed at the spectacular array of fish waiting below the waves, and of course, the renowned green sea turtles! Consider this “your own backyard” while visiting the Big Island -- it’s only steps away from your lovely condo offering great views of the beach and sunsets, right from your own private lanai!
This fabulous second floor condo has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is accessible by elevator or stairway from the parking lot. The condo is beautifully furnished with tropical decor that is reminiscent of the rich natural environment that characterizes Hawai’i. The kitchen features granite counter-tops and a convenient breakfast bar. All appliances, microwave, stove, fridge, coffee maker, rice maker are provided. Sliding doors with screens from the kitchen lead directly onto the lanai where you will likely spend many hours admiring the view, reading, drinking cocktails and dining with friends and family.
The living room has comfortable seating and a large screen television with cable reception. The main area is open-concept so you can interact with one another whether seated on the sofa or cooking in the kitchen. The floors are large format ceramic tile in the common areas and bathrooms. The bedrooms are carpeted. Wi-Fi with high speed internet connection is also provided, free of charge.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, closet, television, ceiling fan and sliding door to the lanai with screens. There are attractive and substantial window/door coverings to shade the room. The master bathroom is connected to the bedroom and has a large shower.
The guest bedroom is on the opposite side of the living room and is furnished with two twin beds. There is a small tv, dresser, closet and ceiling fan. Across the hallway is the guest bathroom that has a shower. In the hallway area there is a brand new stacked washer-dryer for your convenience.
Our condo has central air-conditioning, but most visitors prefer to enjoy the ocean breezes.
There is a beautiful infinity pool and hot tub on the property for guests to enjoy. Please use the outdoor shower to rinse off after your visits to Kahalu’u Beach Park across the street.

Wonderful stay! Enjoyed the location and the condo was perfect for my family.
Just right for 2
Everything we could ask for. Perfect location across from Kahalu'u Beach Park. Snorkeled there numerous times during our stay. Just right distance from Kailua-Kona area. Near enough to shop, sightsee, etc., yet far enough away from constant busyness of the area. Close to many other snorkeling and sight-seeing areas as well. Condo in excellent condition and great amenities. We sat and ate on the lanai every day. Made frequent use of beach towels, chairs, and umbrella. Master bedroom comfortable and bathrooms excellent. Washer and dryer useful as well. Only small suggestions would be to add a cutting board and a pizza cutter. Outside of those, we found everything we needed.
The property was just as described! It had a great oceanfront view from the lanai and the master bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beach across the street was great for snorkeling, especially in the morning! Bring water shoes as entry at the beach is rocky but the snorkeling was fun. We went out every morning.
The property was perfectly clean on arrival. The most well equipped vrbo we have ever stayed in. King bed in the master was very comfortable. The lanai view looking across the bay with your coffee in the morning is as good as it gets. Your shower after a day in the ocean is wonderful in either of the two bathrooms, plenty of pressure and space. Location was our sweet spot. Really nice pool and hot tub. Dan

Location, location, location... this condo is located across from one of the best snorkeling spots on the island, near grocery, restaurants, parks, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kauila-Kona, but close enough to visit. Every morning my my family walked across the road and went straight to the beach to snorkel. What an experience! It is about 25-30 minutes from Two Step, close enough that we went there twice, and about 15 minutes from the wonderful South Kona Fruit Stand where we got our fruit and smoothies for our stay. The condo is exactly as shown in photos, clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Owners were responsive and property manager was available when we needed her. I can highly recommend this place and would definitely return!
Awesome place to stay, with Ocean view and easy access to the beach park. You do need a car to get groceries though.
Clean and great location
Great location. Comfortable and well maintained. Great snorkeling beach across the street. Night snorkel with manta rays a must do.
The upscale tropical furnishings are a plus. Convenient to a delightful park for snorkeling, swimming. Relaxing and sunset views. Easy to drive to South Point, coffee farms and shops.
Perfect location for west Hawaii!
