Such a wonderful location, great place! Just exactly what we hoped for. Delighted!!
The location was perfect right next to downtown Kona and many shops are within walking distance. The area itself is somewhat sketchy but if you are coming from any major U.S. city it's like a lower income area (homelessness, loud noises by the street at night, etc.) but relatively safe compared to the mainland. It seems to be a perfect location if you do not plan to have a rental car. There are no parking spots available after 6pm and you have to search for street parking which may or may not be within walking distance from the property. Unit 147 was clean and well maintained and felt like home away from home. Would stay again if visiting Kona with my wife but would not bring children to the location.
The location was excellent for walking around and great access to eating locations. Beaches were not the best for being sandy, soothing on the feet, and refreshing. Too rocky. Loved being able to find things to do. I would do it again but have access to a car to find beaches with more sand.
Loved the location in Kona! We were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to go and we loved sitting on the patio early in the morning, sipping coffee and listening to the waves crashing on the beach!
This was a fantastic room that is right by the ocean! The center of the complex is a botanical garden. There are flowers that line the walk-way and torches that are lit at dusk. This room could have managed four people, but we didn’t mind the extra space. It served as a great home-base as we toured the island. There is a closet full of everything you may need for a day at the beach or a journey through the forest. We made very good use of the cooler, beach chairs, and snorkeling equipment. Here’s a side note to help your vacation planning: -Hit up Hapuna Beach early in the morning. Bring the snorkel gear. We saw a sea turtle! -Maunakea is amazing. Go to the visitor center… and perhaps rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle. Our Nissan Kicks barely made it. -Go to Black Sands! -The ‘O’oma trail was also fun and nearby!
View was great, WiFi worked well. Room was nice but so many ants in the kitchen
The property was just as described. Great location. Bathroom seemed remodeled. Only issue was there were tiny ants in the kitchen and a couple on the bed. Besides that nice propety overall. The best partcwas the location. Close to the water. Water view. Very close to food & shops.
Could not be happier
We loved the convenience of the location. Patio was nice. Had what we needed.

Access to the beach and walking to all the restaurants, bars and shops was great.
