Island Oasis Villa: Waikoloa Luxury Home with Lap Pool & Miniature Golf Course

We love staying here. The cleanliness, comfortable, activities to do at the house, privacy, conveniently located, the pool, the floor plan, the fruit trees, a/c, and so much more. Always an amazing time.

We recently stayed here for a family staycation. The home itself is absolutely beautiful, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The amenities, pool area, and overall setup really do make it feel like a luxury property.Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by how heavily monitored we felt throughout the stay. Although only 8 guests stayed overnight (which followed the occupancy rules), we had local family and friends stop by for lunches and dinners. The owner repeatedly monitored the cameras and screenshots of our guests were sent to the property manager, which felt very invasive and uncomfortable.There were also Ring spotlight cameras near the pool area, and knowing cameras were actively being watched while our children were walking around in bathing suits made us uneasy. What was most surprising was that nowhere in the Vrbo listing did we notice clear disclosure regarding the extent of the surveillance or monitoring.Another small detail that took away from the luxury feel were signs placed around the home listing the replacement costs of furniture if damaged, which felt a bit tacky for a high-end rental experience.The property manager herself was kind, understanding, and professional throughout our stay, and the home truly is gorgeous. We just feel future guests should be aware of the level of surveillance and lack of privacy we experienced.

We had a wonderful holiday in this Ainamalu home. Loved the location, the back yard was so relaxing. Our kids enjoyed spending a lot of time in the heated pool and hot tub. The house is very well furnished with everything you could need. I must also mention how great the Property Manager is to deal with. From pre planning and having everything ready for us with grocery pre stock, and always answering txts or questions while we were in the home. 5* service! Thanks for a great holiday, we will be back. We were 7 people, 4 adults and 3 kids and we had plenty of space!

We absolutely LOVED our stay. Everything was perfect from beginning to end. We had a small AC problem when we first arrived, but they were prompt and fixed it immediately with no issues. Definitely a five star stay!

This property is amazing. The home is beautiful, clean, and full of amenities (from pool, outdoor activities, and beach supplies). We loved the edible garden too. While the property is not waterfront, you can see the ocean from the kitchen and the backyard sunrise and mountain views are spectacular. One improvement - we would suggest a simple coffee maker (for volume) to not rely solely on the fancier machines (we are coffee novices).

We have a larger family consisting of 3 teens and a 9 year old, my mother and my husband and I, and everyone LOVED our stay here. The home was beautiful and even more than we expected. We arrived later at night and were welcomed with a serene ambiance - a softly lit home and mellow music playing (as its very dark at night)- which is everything to our family as we are all about setting the mood with good vibes, a goody basket, water and even wine :) We had everything we needed and only left for groceries and beach days. We bbq'd and played in the pool throughout the day and would end our evenings in the hot tub looking out at the stars and the moon. No other way to spend your vacation than to have peaceful days where you can truly sit back and cherish this island and the memories you create with your loved ones.

Everything was beautiful and it was a wonderful vacation.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent the week here with our family (6 younger kids). The house itself is nice and has several amenities. The putting green was fun, the pool was nice to have, and the hot tub was great and heated up pretty quick. It made for a nice relaxing way to end each day. The open layout of the house is great as well, giving enough space for everyone to relax and feel comfortable, without feeling like we are on top of each other. The kitchen was good sized and had everything we needed to make a few meals. The outdoor shower was a great touch and got some good use as well. Overall the house was beautiful, the open layout was great, and it was very clean and tidy. The furniture was nice and it was equipped with lots of electronics, which we didn't really need or use, but I am sure that could be nice for others. The garage was stocked with coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, boogie boards, and sand toys, which made it very convenient to go to the beach. The hosts were helpful and quick to respond to questions when we had them, which is appreciated. Location - that is basically the only reason it wasn't a 5 star review. This was our first time on the big island, so we weren't sure what to expect in terms of location and what we would find around the house. There are tons of great beaches closeby, but we didn't feel there were a ton of restaurants. This is located about 10 minutes away from Waikoloa Village, which has a grocery store and a couple of smaller restaurants (Mexican, Pizza, and Thia) and 7 minutes from a couple of nice malls, with some restaurants. The food we did eat was good, but there weren't very many options outside of that and no fast food if you needed something quick. If you need a Walmart or Costco, those are both a good 30 minutes away. If you are looking for shops (outside of the mall) the best spot we found was Holualoa, 50 minutes away.Overall the house was great and we had a great time.
