Ocean view from the Ilikai

We loved the location next to the HHV. My daughter loved walking over to swim and relax. I liked being a little away from the crazy. The view was wonderful, nice kitchen and bathroom. I would love to stay there again. The only thing was the elevators get really crowded and one was broken. Thank god for the bathers elevator.

Unfortunately the weather was terrible so missed out on the evening entertainment and fireworks but this was unavoidable and an unusual weather event. I’d advise anyone to check if there are going to be any ongoing maintenance around your apartment as we had over a week of drilling ect that sounded like they were replacing the tile floor upstairs. If I had known about this I wouldn’t have stayed there.

Clean safe/secure building. Stunning view every day, clean new upgraded condo. TV was great-especially during the Olympics, Air conditioner was amazing. We have stayed at the Ilikai numerous times and love it there.Thank you!

We had everything we needed, and the view was absolutely amazing. The staff we very friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The Hotel is an icon, and we absolutely love staying there. It is close to everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it. Thank you for the great experience.

Very nice , clean, comfortable, updated apartment. Great location for walking about Waikiki. Host had excellent communication. Enjoyed the view from the balcony. Kitchen equipped with necessary tools for light cooking. My only suggestion is to add basic spices like salt & pepper. Overall I give 5 stars

Everything was wonderful. Studio very clean beautiful view. My only negative was the bathroom towels were stained and washcloth’s look like someone had cleaned their shoes. May benefit from some bleach or new towels. Only one hand towel for 8 days. Also no shower soap. Had to go out and purchase but otherwise a wonderful comfortable place to stay. Thank you.

It reeked like paint first 5 or 6 days but the place was great. Nice design, nice furniture. Everything you need.

Beautiful view. Close to a few good restaurants and bars with affordable Happy Hour menus. Clean condo. Lovely pool area. Close to the beach at Waikiki.

We stayed for 5 nites and really liked the location, the hotel and employees. The unit we stayed in needed quite a bit of attention. The bathroom sink cabinet was falling a part corners totally exposing the pressboard and bottom was also worn down. Light switch when you first walk in dither had reside or was softof melded would only cost less than 5.00 thewas

The Condo was clean. We had a Wonderful stay here & would do it again! the balcony had beautiful views of the boat harbor & Ocean.The Sunsets were Spectacular!The Condo does need some updates.Like furniture & pots & pans. But the bed was comfortable for the 2 weeks that we were there.

A coat of paint won’t be enough to fix the run down condition of this condo. Time for a reno. Pictures don’t accurately show the poor condition here.

This place suited our needs, especially for its location. It would have been nice to have a table we could eat at and a dish drainer for drying washed dishes. Also the lanai had of old bird poop on it and we usually like to eat our breakfast out there.

This is a large studio apartment, with the ability to separate the bedroom and living area. It is a little dated, but who cares, it is clean and the location is perfect. The balcony is large and has beautiful views of Marina, ocean and sunset. It is just a short walk to the beach, lagoon, Ala Moana Park and the mall. The little coffee shop on site offers delicious coffee and breakfasts, for those who don’t want to cook. We look forward to return stays here.

However, the unit is very outdated. There hasn't been an update in decades. Stained bedding, sheets washed so many times it was it was thin and pilled, no bed skirt. Bed slides around on tile floor. Blue couch had body odor, brown hue. Kitchen cabinets had the smell of old press board due to age, so did the night stands. Stove burners didn't fit right. Cooking was dangerous really. Laughed at the comment in the owner's book asking guests not to hit the walls with their luggage so it doesn't damage the paint. Paint isn't going to fix these problems. 80's wall paper pealing, stained. It's really a shame. It wouldn't take much of an investment to fix these items. Overall feel I paid way too much when looking at similar units in the building. Would not recommend.

It was very clean, looked as good as in the photos and was very comfortable for our family of three. The Ilikai is in a great location on the pink trolley line, a short walk to the Ala Moana Center, and also has excellent amenities.

Small issue. The number three on the door touchpad is a little wonky and occasionally I would have to enter the door code 4 or five times.

Like the overall location because everything you need and want is in walkable distant. Safe area to be in since it’s mostly tourists there and that it’s beachfront. Easy access to ride share pick up and drop off.

The place is abit outdated ( esp the kitchen) stove from the 70’s but then again, it did work .. especially since we cooked majority of meals in room .Well stocked with utensils/ cooking pots/pans.Bathroom very outdated , shower tiles need to be changed .Our biggest issue was the air conditioner, too small for the unit, very old and has a water tray which we had to empty 2-3 times a day or it would overflow. Overall, it’s truly the view that we enjoyed the most.

The location and communication with the property manager were great, and having the little kitchen made travelling with kids so much easier. It took us a while to figure out the temperature calibration in the shower, and we were missing a few odds and ends in the kitchen, but overall, we were happy with our stay.

Condo is in desperate need of updates and deep clean. The bed and sheets should be replaced and the stains on the bathroom wallpaper are very off putting. The restaurant at the roof top is fantastic as well as the coffee shop down stairs. Another Waikiki condo relying on the location and view. The elevator was broken a few days and I had to take the stairs 10 flights.

Very clean and worked amazing while accommodating a bridal party getting ready in it.

Was there for business. The hotel is awesome and has a wonderful view and coffee/breakfast place. The room is below par. The wall paper in the bathroom is dirty and stained. The bed is poor and the bedding is even cheaper. Is need of a good deep cleaning. Unfortunately the elevator was broken and i had take the stairs multiple times. The resturante at the roof top is awesome with a wonderful bar menu.

Valet parking was convenient but pricey. Great location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Kitchen was a little small and could use some upgrades and the vents throughout the condo need to be cleaned thoroughly, but does work fine for a short stay. The manager was great, answered any questions via email very promptly.

Beautiful views, great sunsets! Property manager was prompt on returning any questions via email. The only downfall is valet parking which is very expensive, $45 a day

Good and beautiful location

Had a wonderful stay at this property! It is dated but it’s clean and very well stocked with everything you will need BUT the view is why you will want to stay here.. The location of the hotel is great, close to everything but just far enough away from busy Waikiki!! The Food Pantry is 2-3 blocks away with a fresh deli for all your food/drink needs!! The property managers are wonderful and communication with them is great!!

The property is dated but large and clean and the view is so soothing and spectacular that it makes you forget the rest. The rental agency was super helpful when we locked ourselves out. The location is great close to the beach, park, mall, restaurants.
