Premier Ocean Bluff Condo with Spectacular Surf and Sunset Views

This is a lovely condo with amazing views. If I could give it a 4.8, I would. The only reason it wasn’t a 5.0 is we had to have the master bath clean completed after we arrived, and the dishwasher wouldn’t work twice during our stay. The response to the issues was very prompt! The condo is even more spacious than it appears from the photos. Everything needed in the kitchen was there - very well stocked. The bed was comfortable, and the sitting areas were relaxing. The real bonus was all of the beach equipment. We didn't need to buy or rent anything - chairs, cooler, snorkels, beach towels, even binoculars. We would definitely stay here again!

It was our 15th year and my husbands first time ever to Hawaii and we get to come with my sister and her husband and it was absolutely amazing would absolutely stay again.

Peaceful beach and wonderful views

Beautiful condo with stunning views. Very easy walks to the beach and very close to the pool. We loved the open layout and loved the patio. Just a few minute drive to Hanalei Bay and a great area to walk around. About a 20 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Queens Bath. Just a fantastic experience with great communication with our Host.

Gorgeous ocean view! Quiet serene community. We walked to 1 Hotel for late night cocktails and appetizers on the 4th of July. We were able to watch fireworks from the restaurant which had an open terrace. The condo was clean and well maintained. My family and I enjoyed relaxing on the lanai daily. Check in/out was easy. We will definitely come back!

The condo was perfectly stocked with everything you’d need for your stay and the views off the balcony are wonderful! Communication with the owners was prompt and they have all the things you’d need for the beach! We didn’t have to buy anything extra for our stay and we loved every minute! We even grilled dinner with the propane grill provided.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! This condo was everything we had hoped for and more. It was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home.One of the things we appreciated most was how well-stocked it was—every little detail had been thought of. The kitchen had all the essentials (and then some), the linens and towels were plush and plentiful, and there were even thoughtful extras like beach gear and bathroom essentials. The location was perfect too—peaceful and relaxing, yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We truly had everything we needed for a stress-free and enjoyable stay.

The location and views from this property are wonderful. The location was great, with convenient access to two different beaches and a pool. The unit itself is quite functionally laid-out for a family our size (we have 3 adult children) and stunning views of the ocean. The only minor frustration was a slight plumbing issue, but it is easily remedied.Hanalei Bay and Princeville are absolutely beautiful and this property is ideal for enjoying all the area has to offer!

This is the perfect place to stay on the water. We watched whales every morning. It is a short drive to Princeville or Hanalei. It is a short walk to puu poa beach or restaurants next door at 1 Hotel. The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will be back!

Kauai is becoming our favorite place to avoid some of our winter. The PuaPoa complex is a wonderful Princeville location. The north end of the island feels less crowded and low key. There are many nearby beaches but three are in walking distance. This condo is on the second floor. Whale watching is easy from the lanai. We loved leaving the ocean side windows ajar to hear the surf. The condo was clean and well maintained.

This is a spacious condo with amazing views. Leave the windows open and listen to the waves all day and night! Also saw a whale from balcony this morning. Heated pool with ocean views is lovely and there is a beach just below, if you are up for a bit of a hike. We loved our stay!

As indicated from my rating we found that this property meet all our needs. While it is always a bit risky with the weather in the Princeville area we were fortunate on this occasion. The manager of the property, Lauren, was very responsive and helpful.

The condo was amazing. The pictures in VRBO don’t do the views or condo justice we enjoyed watching whales while sitting on the deck, sleeping with the windows open and hearing the ocean waves all night. The owner was very responsive to so very minor issues and even delivered a new grill for us! Can’t recommend this place strongly enough!

Felt like we were in heaven....gorgeous, beautifully appointed condo with stunning sea views, access to hiking, beaches, pool, etc. We had a lovely lovely time.

A great location with easy access to the beach if you are in good shape. The home was beautiful and the host was quick to respond and answer questions. We would definitely stay again and happy we chose this place over the nearby overpriced resort (can still walk there for dinner and coffee).

What a stunning location and amazing place to stay! We really wish we could stay longer. We absolutely loved sitting inside the air conditioning and being able to see the most beautiful ocean and pool outside through the expansive windows. We also enjoyed the outside balcony/deck with the giant umbrella, opened to shade us from the sun while we sipped wine and watched the beautiful surroundings. This condo is equipped with everything! From dish soap to body soap, hair, shampoo, and conditioner, all the toilet products and paper towels, linens, and towels in the bathrooms. The beds are super comfortable with nice pillows for a great nights sleep! Beautiful showers with great water pressure! No problems with noise here at all! Also, I read the reviews about the stove being worn off, but it didn’t bother us at all. It was pretty simple to figure out which was which. They even had a rice cooker here which was great. Being so close to Hanalei Bay (which is really fun for shopping and eating, just park your car and walk around) made it convenient for our Na’Pali boat tour. Except for using a pool towel during our stay, we never got a chance to take advantage of all of the other amenities this place offers. We really enjoyed the hike down to Hideaway Beach. Other people drive here and park in a small parking lot, but all you have to do here is walk out your door and over to the path down to the beach. It is steep, but there are rope handrails to hang onto. This place is A+

The unit had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. Better than the pictures even. Good area for walking and close drive to Hanalei.

Overall our experience was fantastic! We loved the condo and its location. The only real issue we had was with the kitchen stove. As indicated in a previous review the dial information was worn off so we just looked it up on line. However, the oven wouldn't heat up to the temperature selected and the burner sometimes didn't work. I wouldn't let that stop us from staying there again, but it is probably time to replace the stove/oven.

I hesitated on giving a review; however, I wish that I would have read a truthful review before I booked as I would not have booked this particular unit. Pros: - Spacious condo - close proximity to the pool (but access is sown steps and an incline) - heated pool, never crowded - ocean front (but not a view of Bali Hai) Cons: - 25 steps to get from parking lot to condo ( was told it was five steps) - extremely noisy due to being the last condo right next to a parking lot which is cleaned very early and daily by a Zamboni like machine - appliances need replacing: stove top control markings have been scrubbed off making it a guessing game for heat settings; refrigerator filter leaking inside fridge wetting some of our food ( property manager addressing this) - microwave has rust stains all over it - outside grill is rusty and dirty ( unable to use) - dishwasher starts if you brush up against it - kitchen amenities lacking, I.e. no steak knives, only 3 wine glasses (glass)..etc - bath towels and cloths need to be replaced as they are rags - cleaning not up to par even after coming a second time to “ refresh” Part of the problem may be a lack of good supplies - sheets smelled - sofas extremely uncomfortable ( not the sofa n love seat pictured when I initially booked). Ended up with back pain after two weeks here - lanai filthy This unit needs to be refurbished!

My husband and I have been visiting Kauai since the ‘90s, when we brought our teenaged kids on a special Xmas break vacation and stayed at the Princeville Hotel. At the time, the Princeville hotel was a gorgeous, luxurious hotel with the most breathtaking views of Kauai’s Napali Coast that I have ever seen. We stayed there a few times, but the price kept going up and eventually it was simply out of reach…also, the hotel underwent various renovations and changes of ownership that, sadly, were not really improvements. So we wanted to find a condo nearby that would over similar views. In 2016 we stayed at Pu’U Poa for the 1st time, in a unit on an upper floor that did, indeed have very similar views to those of the hotel…elegant unit not available now. This visit was our 1st time back since that one, and since the pandemic we always prefer condos to hotels, where we have more privacy and where dining in our unit during the day is even more important to us. This unit is roomy and comfortable…good to have AC, even tho I didn’t need to use it this trip! Temps were on cooler side. It is well supplied, & a small plumbing issue was resolved very quickly & easily. The view of the ocean from the lanai is great & we saw whales 2 out of the 3 days, binoculars r in unit. Nice. I would recommend this unit! Outside stairs going up & down as one approaches entrance make no sense. Bad architectural choice, a hassle w luggage. Otherwise, nice.

Beautiful condo. Clean, nicely furnished. Furnished items above and beyond expectations. Owner and maintenance very responsive. Bed very comfortable. Would recommend this unit and owner.

It was a joy to step into this living space. The view is fabulous, and the condo had everything we needed. The master bedroom is not exactly private with louvered doors to the main living area. There was also noise on the glass roof when it rained which might bother someone on the sofa bed. The marble step up from the living area could be difficult for some moving babies. There is a public parking lot that you can see from the kitchen. On the whole the location is very good.
