Overall a beautiful unit and resort. No real problems to report. Loved the large lanai and view.
The condo was large and so was the lanai. It had everything we needed except for a pizza pan and pizza cutter. Things to consider that could affect your decision to stay here: 1. There is only an air conditioner in the bedroom. It was REALLY hot in the rest of the condo during out stay. We kept all the windows open and the ceiling fans on but still really hot. 2. You cannot access the ocean from the resort. The closes swimming beach is a few miles away so we drove which is no big deal but it would have been nice to have a pedestrian path down to the ocean at the resort to watch the sunset. Everything was great but next time I will go with a fully air conditioned unit with ocean access.
We loved our stay! We loved going to the coffee shop by Magic Sands Beach (just 2 miles away)! You can watch the sunset from the living room, and we saw several rainbows from the balcony! 🌈
We loved our stay at this property—plenty of space, nice furnishings, and an amazing ocean view out the balcony. We enjoyed the live music at the pool and the proximity to snorkeling beaches and the grocery store. My suggestions for improvement are very minor: a pepper grinder, olive oil, and for whatever reason, I couldn't get the shower temperature above lukewarm but it wasn't a big deal. Great spot!
The condo was clean, spacious, and well-stocked (even laundry soap). The lanai was huge and with a view of the ocean over the roofs of the other buildings. Nice location not too far from the center of Kailua. The family pool was a nice size. As others have noted, driving app doesn't get you to the right spot. It wants to take you to the front of the building, but the way in is at the back. You have to make a left immediately after entering the complex (before the roundabout), and it's the first building on the right. Would stay here again.
The condo was very nice and spacious. The amenities were great and we played tennis everyday and used the pool. We enjoyed our stay very much and would come back again. I should mention that there are a couple of things that need attention. One is the ice maker in the freezer did not work. We mentioned to the property manager Leslie who said she would look for some ice trays as she may have some in her garage but if she didn’t return with them shortly that meant she didn’t have any. We purchased a bag of ice and then went to Target and purchased 4 ice trays so we would have ice. We left the ice trays for the next guest. Second is the faucet handle that turns the shower on/off was loose and we could not turn it on. We advised Leslie and was told that the previous guest had the same issue and that if you push it in and then turn it works. We were able to get it to turn on. Leslie said she would have a handyman come by to take a look but that didn’t happen. We were able to operate the shower ok with the loose knob. Other than these two minor inconveniences we were very happy with the condo.
Super clean, updated property, peaceful setting, beautiful view. Could not ask for anything more. You will enjoy your stay.
We have owned/managed hotel properties for over 30 years. If you are looking at this property listing; look no further! Within 20 minutes of the Kona Airport, walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, daily fresh fruit and fish stands, great snorkeling within walking distance, and located off Alii Drive/ the location is perfect. The condo is immaculate, well appointed, and has EVERYTHING you might need- nothing is left to chance.. Check -in was problem free and communication was timely and flawless. No stairs! The lanai (w/bbq and ocean view) is large enough to have its own zip code! The only issue we had was that they couldn’t accommodate our request to stay longer. We will be back! Thanks for a great stay.
This is a great place to stay if you’re wanting to be in the Kona area. The complex is quiet, easy to access, and the unit itself is very nice and has a beautiful view. It does only have AC in the bedroom which was fine for us but worth noting. Also the buildings aren’t all well marked. When you pull into the complex this unit is accessed by the first road on the left.
There is a supermarket nearby. And a lot of places to eat. Very convenient!
Very roomy condo with access to pool and other and other amenities. It was clean and stocked with everything a person may need.
LOVED: Our 10-day stay. My husband and I LOVED that we could enjoy the "quiet" pool over the larger and louder "family" pool with restaurant and bar. We LOVED being able to do laundry mid-stay. We LOVED that there were things like beach chairs and towels, umbrella, and cooler available for us to use. We LOVED having the option to enjoy the sunset from the lanai. Easy parking. Easy *walkable* access to grocery store and restaurants, and local vendors. AWESOME! WISH: The check-out instructions online and on site matched. They didn't. My husband and I got into short argument on the last day about whether we were to wash beddings or not. The online version says "leave all slept-in beds unmade" which is what we did. My husband argued that he thought they were to be laundered. We found as we were walking out the door on the last day that it was stated otherwise on site. No big deal, but there are other minor discrepancies. Nevertheless, Contact Leslie got back to us ASAP upon being summoned, and we had a WONDERFUL time. Highly recommend! WISH: Directions to property were better. We and another couple were down the road at the wrong property trying to find this place. It's at the corner of Ali'i and Ali'i. Yes I said that right. It's confusing. It's right across from the main entrance of the shopping center and Siri cannot get you there with the address. Small hiccup but resolved thanks to friendly locals with good old fashioned directions.
We loved our stay. Great place and property.
the apartment was very clean and roomy. it has a nice lay out and wonderful balcony. it was well stocked. the location was pretty and quiet. i wish there was beach access though, but we found we were able to walk to close by beaches. unfortunately the state park next door was closed for renovation and regrowth/spawning of coral. overall we had a wonderful stay and would certainly recommend this apartment to anyone.
