Comfortable accommodations in a great location! A/C kept us comfortable, kitchen was really well stocked, many beach, shopping and dining choices nearby. Especially loved the water view and bird watching from the lanai. Would definitely stay here again.

Totally Awesome. Great location and super nice. We stayed 11 days. Nice extras beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, and snorkeling stuff. View watching the surfing is nice with early am coffee on the deck. Can’t say enough.

I was here in April 2025, with my three teenage and adult sons. It was an absolute perfect place to stay for us.The location is perfect for almost anything you'd want to do. Walking distance to magic sands, 5 minutes to Kahalu'u, 10 minutes to Kailua-Kona restaurants, and 10 minutes to the Keahou bay and all the expeditions there. This is a fantastic place if you plan on exploring almost everywhere. If you do want to take longer trips it's not bad - an hour to Hapuna, 30 min to two-step - but you're in a place where you can just do things on a whim without any concerns. The property is great for a small family. In particular they are wondefully stocked for trips out. Boogie boards, snorkels, beach towels, beach mats, chairs, coolers - it makes it so easy to do anything. The kitchen is well supplied and nicely laid out. The rooms and TV are nice and modern. The lanai has a gorgeous view and is great for meals while you watch surfers on Lyman's point. Everything is well-labeled and easy to find. Owners are exceptionally communicative and prepared, with clear guidelines on expectations and rules. I do recommend bringing sleep masks, as it can bring in a lot of light in the morning.

Being so close to the main road can be loud with traffic noise.

We had a lovely stay at this home! The deck was a great place to have coffee in the morning and hang out in the evening with great ocean views and the peaceful sounds of birds from the nearby sanctuary. The host went above and beyond, leaving us fresh pineapple, mangos, and papaya, which was such a thoughtful touch. A couple things to keep in mind: The Jack and Jill bathroom is nice to have for the two vanity spaces, but it is connected through the shower, which means it’s not completely private between the two vanity/toilet areas. It worked fine for us, but something to note if you’re looking for total privacy. The bedrooms are on the street side, so there was some noise from passing cars. It didn’t bother us too much, but keep in mind if you are a light sleeper. Overall, we had a great time and really appreciated the host’s attention to detail, responsiveness and care. This place has so much old Hawaiian charm, especially with that view! Thank you!!

The location on Ali’i Drive is amazing, easy access to everything in Kona. The property has everything you need, very comfortable for a family of five. The lanai was our favorite, it has views of Lyman’s surf spot and plenty of room for everyone to hang out for meals or to enjoy sunsets.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very much appreciated the air conditioners. Location was good. A little too close to the main street sometimes it was hard to sleep due to the traffic.

We love this home! It truly is a water-lover’s paradise. You cannot really get a better location, on Ali’i drive but just south of the most busy areas. Lots of nearby surfing and snorkeling. Next to a preserve filled will birds, plants and wildlife. Amazing grocery and food options at Keahou shopping center just a few minutes away, and local spots for poke and a mini mart within walking distance. It’s worth it just for the view from the lanai, which looks directly into an undeveloped woodland and the breaking waves of Lyman’s surf spot. But to top it off it feels like a hotel, with the comfy air conditioned bedrooms. Ali’i drive, which is right behind the house, can get busy at times, but this is the happy tradeoff one makes for being right on the water, next to a park, in Kona. The beds are perfectly firm and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to make amazing meals, with attention to detail and all possible appliances and kitchenware you could want. The Lanai has a nice grill, seating and a fan. We enjoyed logging into our streaming accounts from the huge smart TV and watching movies on the comfy leather sofas. The host was friendly and welcoming and gave us a list of places to check out. My favorite island, now my favorite bay and my favorite home away from home. The only reason this place is not constantly booked is that it is a new rental! Get in while you can, soon I am sure there will rarely be openings. We will be back soon!

This house is perfect! It has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. It was very comfortable for the four adults who stayed here. Lots of extras to make our packing light including beach towels and beach chairs. There is an undeveloped park that is loaded with trees, bushes, and birds on one side that gives you a great sense of privacy as we relaxed on the lanai after a long day of exploring the many places on the island. The view of the ocean is also very nice. We all loved our stay here and hope to return.

This is definitely in the top 3 of all time vacation rentals. Great location, great view. Property was pristine, spacious, well stocked. I would stay here for an extended amount of time. It was just gorgeous here.

We loved our stay! The house is charming and well stocked. So nice to be in a place that is obviously well loved and not just a cookie cutter corporate rental. The view from the lanai is amazing and between watching the ocean and the birds, it was hard to leave! It’s great location to explore from, so it’s worth tearing yourself away. The only thing missing for us was laundry and quiet bedrooms. The rooms are on the street side and Ali’i is a very busy road, so lots of traffic noise. If you can pretend it’s the ocean, then it’s a dream house!
