Easy check in, great view and location, kitchen is well stocked, host is very responsive

Beautiful view, easy check in and out, nice location to beach and town.

Location was amazing. Deck and railing were very dirtyDeck only had one chair that was semi comfortable. Hammock is useless get rid of it. Only had one beach chair Couch was very uncomfortable The listing showed pics of gym which I as misleading as we didn’t get access to it.

Power was out the first night and when it did come on the shower was backed up and flooded with black water. Had a Plummer come by while we were in the room in the evening to fix it. He worked for 2 hours pounding away in and out and making noise and couldn’t fix it. After 2 days of no showers they decided to move us to another one of their apartments. When they did move us there was pounding on the floor above us. So much for a relaxing stress free vacation in Hawaii. Very disappointing!

The sunset view was great. A lot of noise from the harbor (one boat specifically) and someone was smoking on the balcony of a nearby unit so it was a little stinky at times. The closest beach was very rocky not exactly related to our stay but something we noticed. Bring your own beach towels and look into beach chair rentals because this unit only has one and the carry straps are damaged. We didn’t have any intention of cooking for ourselves but this unit also had a limited variety of cooking utensils. The ac unit is dated and extremely loud, we would leave it one when we weren’t in the room and that seemed to work good enough for us. Overall, it functioned just fine as a place to sleep. We don’t typically visit Honolulu but if we do again we will likely look for somewhere more central on Waikiki beach.

The view was amazing! Place was cute. Had to email property manager because they didnt send chwck in information. Ac wasnt turned on prior to our check in and it is in direct sun. The shower was dirty and there were 2 bikinis on the deck. Also after 2 showers the shower was clogged, ended up showering in ankle deep water. Definitely need some upgrades but still enjoyed the location.

First, I love the Ilikai Hotel - it has great amenities. Great location. This time I appreciated being higher up, on the 16th floor with a terrific view of the Ala Moana marina, the ocean, and hotel grounds below. There was a minor glitch checking in - the instructions for unlocking the door on the keypad were not entirely correct, but I called Hawaii Lei Realty and someone came to fix the situation.Overall, I enjoyed staying in the unit. One thing that would have been helpful is instructions on how to use the two TV remotes. I'm not tech savvy but I managed to figure it out - for the future: hit the power on the Spectrum remote, then hit the on-off button on the Spectrum unit, wait for it to display 2d, then back to the time, then turn on the power on the TV remote. I don't know how I figured this out but I did!

We didnt spend much time at the vrbo as we were off adventuring. The location was wonderful. The bed was comfy, but the couch definitely could use an upgrade. Anytime we did want to stop and sit while we figured out plans, we only ever sat on the bed because the couch was so uncomfortable.

My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon. Beautiful view. Clean room. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to visiting again.

The view was excellent, as was the location. There were some beach things left from previous guests which was nice but that was the extent of the good. My friend and I stayed here, and the advertised couch was different. It was barely a twin and my friend's feet hung off. We ended up buying an air mattress which we left for future guests. The hammock had dry rot and broke while i was laying on it. There was a drainage problem which backed up the shower (which they knew and gave the option of fixing while we were there) and the bottom of the toilet leaked. We tightened down the toilet for them. The air conditioner doesnt work well and is too small for the room. The TV speakers are blown so that sucked. And whomever does their cleaning does a terrible job. The vent in the shower is disgusting, there was red residue on the edges of the toilet (assuming blood), and shower tiles need deep cleaning. Oh, and they forbid you from wearing shoes inside.. I messaged the owners a few times with problems. They were slow to reply with a basic "thanks for letting us know" with zero attempts to correct. We ended up staying a few extra days and paying more for the hotel was worth it. 3/10 dont recommend. Vrbo was great and compensated us some for the trouble.

We had a fabulous time in Honolulu and this location was excellent - we were able to walk most places we needed to go and Uber was a viable option. The hotel has a few stores and some food options. Note that valet parking is now $45/day not the $28/day other reviewers had indicated. The place really does need a deep cleaning, the cupboards had food on them the was not wiped off, the shower was very slow to drain and all the walls had many layers of hand/fingerprints on them. The lanai is also very dirty - and the table and chairs are very flimsy with a 1/2 broken hammock - it was not a place we could really sit and enjoy the view. There are absolutely no extras - common cooking items, no beach towels, chairs, or umbrella. It felt very safe and the bedding was clean. But the AC is not able to provide enough cool air for the space - it was very hot sleeping! Overall, it did not detract from our stays enjoyment, but would be even better if a few things were addressed.

We chose Ilikai to be close to the finish line for a big canoe race. The rental company sent me so many emails about the stay ahead of time to make check-in easy. When I checked in 15 minutes after the contracted time, the unit had not been clean. No one had called or emailed me. After I attempted to call, and email, the cleaner arrived and told me the unit would be ready an hour and half later. The host had sent a message thru VRBO 15-20 minutes after check in informing me that the unit was not clean yet. They did not offer to compensate me in any way for the inconvenience or respond to my email explaining how overwhelming and disruptive the experience was. The unit was cute with decor, but oudated and could use updates. A/C was very loud with no way to quiet and keep cool. Shower drain is slow causing water to pool, the vent in the bathroom were dirty. The unit could use a deep clean and new pillows for the couch wich do not appear to be washed between guests. I would not stay here again or rent from Lei Hawaii Realty again. The location is great, which many rental companies exploit by not offering better service because guests will settle for less, paying more just to be in this location.

Me and my husband loved this place! It was so beautiful and in the perfect location for all the activities we had planned.

Spectacular view, very clean, comfy bed. Great location to walkable Waikiki! Wish there had been more comfortable seating inside and out. Would have made sitting on the balcony and the view more enjoyable. Two cushioned wicker chairs would do the trick! Very good value.

The place had a nice view. Best I can say. A very hot full sun room. Decorated in a very cheap way. No Aloha sprit at all. And BEWARE this unit says it sleeps 3! NOT EVEN TRUE the sofa bed they are using is plastic and doesn’t even come close to being a bed. I will not stay here again.

While there were issues with cleaning, management communicated with us and eventually solved the problem in addition to refunding us a portion of the bill. The view was beautiful, and the bed was super comfy. We were happy with the location. The Hula the Ilikai offers on Fridays was better than we expected. As it ended, we could see the fireworks from the Hilton as well. We would stay here again. As someone who cooks, I wish there had been a few more staples in the kitchen. There were coffee filters and paper towels and salt and pepper and we appreciated those. We left a small bottle of olive oil and honey for the next guests. A dish towel for the kitchen would have been helpful.

The Ilikai in Waikiki is the perfect beach location. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and this condo worked perfectly for me for a quick relaxing beach vacation! Thank you.

The property was in a good location if you’re wanting to be in a busier area. Lots of restaurants and walkable to the beach. Parking was 12-$30 a day so be prepared for that as there is no free street parking . The actual condo was nice , and had a great view of the harbor which is why we booked it. The vent in the shower is covered in dust and it’s eye level so it’s hard to miss while you’re showering as you are directly looking at it . Communication with the property is not the easiest as it’s a property management company and they take a bit to respond . Our checking directions were never delivered (the have receipts on their end but it never went through to our email) so when we tried to contact someone as to how to get in the property no one answered for about 2 hours with Vrbo calling the property + emailing the property. Also with the deposit they kept charging the wrong card and it took them 2 days to change the card number as they continued to try and process the cancelled card multiple times a day .

The room is awesome. We stayed for 5 nights. The view is beautiful, watch the sunset over the water. It was nice having a kitchen, we didn’t have any problems. We would stay there again, highly recommend

This is a cozy functional space for two or three people with the most beautiful view of the marina and Waikiki Beach to the left of the marina. We loved it! Easy directions make this a perfect stay in Honolulu!

Great stay! Great view! Wish there was sugar for coffee but overall everything we needed for our week stay. They have beach chairs which was very nice. Elevator stopped working on our final day which made it difficult to get our luggage down but this is not the owners fault. I would recommend an upgrade to the shower.

Loved the location, the room was perfect for the two of us, bed was really comfortable. I didn’t like the stove every time I would get into the cupboard I’d turn on the burner but other than that I loved my stay.😉
