Nihilani 18B is in a lovely plantation style 2 story town-home located in a private and tranquil environment. This convenient Princeville location is walking distance to the golf course, and near beaches, tennis courts, walking paths, shops, and restaurants.
This spacious plantation style town-home has a 1874 square foot floor plan with 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, with a two car garage, and can easily accommodate up to 6 people in style. The living room is tastefully decorated with a comfortable sectional and an efficient open floor plan. The lanai that is attached to the living room has lots of seating for relaxing, playing games or just enjoying the surrounding tropical plants.
The fully equipped kitchen with all granite counter tops has all the amenities of home. Stay in and create your own meal to enjoy on the lanai or have a sit down dinner at the large dining table that seats 6 adults comfortably. Check out the local Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to complete your culinary creations.
There are 3 beautifully decorated bedrooms and a den with a desk upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed, a large chest of drawers, comfy reading nook, a lanai and full bath with shower and separate sunken tub. The second bedroom has a queen bed with an attached lanai and the third bedroom also has a queen bed. The second and third bedrooms both connect to a full bathroom.
The plantation style complex offers a newly tiled swimming pool and hot tub. If you enjoy grilling, the barbecue area is nearby and close to the swimming pool.
Though air conditioning is available, it is not even necessary. Just open the doors and sliders, and the ceiling fans and breezy trade winds provide natural cooling.
An attached two car garage offers convenient direct access to the condo.
Nearby activities include seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, fishing, surfing, windsurfing, hiking, horseback riding, zip lining, shopping, tennis and golf.

The pool area and BBQ area is beautiful, and always clean. The Condo had everything that we needed. Chairs, coolers and boogie boards for the beach, and even a drying rack in the garage for wet suits. The Kitchen was well equipped with everything that we could need!!

The condo was easy to find even in the rain. Parking was the only issue. The garage is only big enough for two small to mid size vehicles. We did not know that and had upgraded to large SUV's. So one car did not fit in the garage. You need to park in a vistior parking spot a short walk away. By the weekend those were always full so we had to park one car at the pool. Other than that the condo was beautiful and well equipped. Beds were comfy and the unit was very quiet and clean.We would have preferred to have one room have twin beds so one of us slept on the couch. A short drive to little towns , great beaches and lots of great places to eat or just get coffee. After long days we relaxed by the pool. The pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The condo provided a great supply of beach gear so we kept our cars loaded up for daily trips. There was a hose right outside to wash off sand which was great. I would highly recommend this location if you want to experience the north shore and all it has to offer. There were five adults and other than the beds, the condo accomadated us all very comfortably. The main porch, sitting area was large and private. Also there were balcony sitting areas off two of the bedrooms that we really enjoyed to relax on private.Overall a great place and we would rent again if we visit in the future.
Very Comfortable house. We enjoyed AC, family couch, balcony for morning coffee. Close proximity to Anini & tunnels. Would prefer lockbox to pick up key. The hot tub at pool was great after snorkeling in rain. House didn’t have shampoo, body wash, or spices. Lots of towels ! Property Management left coffee & cookies. spices Lots of towels

The condo was spacious, clean and well maintained and the process with the rental company was seamless. The location was central with a scenic walking path down to the 1 Hotel where we would enjoy the beach from time to time. The condo was accomodating and well stocked. The pool area was also quite nice and we made good use of the grills. The AC was necessary in August when it could be quite hot and humid. We would definitely recommend and rent again.

The unit had air conditioning for when we needed to cool off, but we didn’t need it all the time. The pool was awesome- nice pool, hot tub and brand new Weber grills that we used several times. The unit had everything we needed- kitchen supplies, beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, coolers. Beds were very comfortable. We will stay here when we come back. Additionally, the staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals were all helpful and very friendly. Just an overall amazing experience with this rental. Thank you all so much!!

We are used to staying closer to the airport, so this seemed a bit far away from things we were familiar with, but it was a lot of fun exploring things closer to Princeville. Our tme there passed way to quickly!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Five friends came to Kauai to hike, snorkel, and kayak the beautiful shores and hills of Kauai. This location was good for us. Our highlight was kayaking the Napali coast and Princeville was just 15 minutes away from our day long journey. The facilities in and out of the home were awesome. Pool for families, pathways for walks, and a grocery store five minutes away. My only complaint is all the bedrooms are upstairs and as a bilateral amputee I prefer not climbing stairs to the bedrooms. A washer and dryer is also available in the home. The dishwasher did not work, but we enjoyed washing our dishes by hand. Great kitchen and beautiful home.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Before COVID we made annual visits to Hawaii and usually stayed in Princeville at Nihilani. Makani is a great floor plan. However we would not stay in 18B again. The owners locked off the MBR closet for their personal storage, leaving nowhere to hang clothes. At least a wardrobe should have been provided. None of the 3 BRs had a TV, although there was one in the small upstairs alcove. There was no remote garage door opener making entry and exit very inconvenient. Prominently displaying bikes and surfboard in garage and then declaring them offlimits to tenants is at the least rude.
We were looking for something in a nearby town but all properties for our group size were sold out. This vacation home was not exactly our style but it was completely sufficient for our stay.
