We loved our stay at Hapuna Sunsets. The condo was super clean, kitchen was well stocked, beds were very comfortable and the view was outstanding!! The "A" unit is very convenient, as it is the closest building to the Westin resort, which we took advantage of. We would definitely stay here again.

There is a chronic black mold infestation in the master bedroom, surrounding the air conditioning unit. The hosts were rude and unhelpful in acknowledging and addressing it

We love Hapuna, this was a special treat for us to stay on property.

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely unit. We were happily surprised by how well equipped the unit was. Had everything we could possibly need. The communication between the property managers was outstanding. I needed clarification on a few things and they responded quickly with the information I needed.The unit is in the perfect location. Beautiful beach in front and the Westin just steps away. Will be very happy to stay again...hopefully...sometime soon!

Property was amazing! Best Location on Hapuna Beach in Building A closest to pool, beach and restaurants. The condo was clean, comfortable, and well appointed with everything you would need. We were a family of 6 with an age range from 14 to 72. The Lanai had an amazing unobstructed view of the beach. We never turned on a TV over 9 days! The Condo/Big Island guide was great. Cannot recommend this place enough! 5 out of 5 Stars.

This property is exactly how described. Beautiful!! Clean, perfect location. A paradise of a view. We loved it!!!

Better than the pictures! Amazing place that feels brand new. Had a little trouble parking and finding the front door and one of the balcony lounge chairs was missing a seat cushion. Other than that this could be the most perfect place we have rented! Luxury finishes, amazing view and perfect location.

Condo is incredibly well designed and laid out. We are a family of 4. The availability of 3 separate bedrooms made for a great stay. My wife and I loved the privacy of having our own room. Each of our kids also liked having their own dedicated bedroom space. The listing indicates the property is near the Westin, but it is essentially on the Westin property. I think we were closer to the Westin pool and beach than people who stayed at the Westin. Access to the Westin and Mauna Kea resorts made this a best-of-both worlds rental. We had the privacy and accomodations of our own condo with all the amenities you could ever want from two fantastic resorts. Highly highly recommend!

Everything about the property is amazing and met all of our needs. The only thing that was a trouble for us was that a company had rented out the entire hotel and so almost all of the food options, etc. were closed to us. There was also a loud concert that we couldn't do anything about since the residences do not have any control over the goings on of the hotel.

We had an incredible family vacation at this property. We have been coming to Big Island for 15 years, stayed at every resort and many different condo communities, and nothing comes close to comparing to the Residences at Mauna Kea. You are steps away from all the amenities of the resort and the ocean. Amazing to be beachfront with a kitchen. I have no complaints with the unit, beds were great, view is amazing, quiet community, unit was clean and well appointed. On our last day, we booked our stay for next year. Book this unit. You have found one of the best properties on the Big Island.
