Wake to Hanalei Bay from your lanai, make breakfast in the full kitchen, and let the rest of the day stay loose. This air-conditioned, two-bedroom, two-bath condo at Hanalei Bay Resort sleeps four, with a king bed and private bath in each bedroom. It is an easy setup for two couples or a small family who appreciates real privacy at the end of the day. The living and dining areas give you room to gather, while the in-home washer and dryer saves the usual beach-towel shuffle. Outside, the 22-acre resort offers two pools and eight tennis courts before you even make it down to the white sand below. Head into Hanalei for food trucks, dinner, and small-town browsing, or make a calmer-water day of nearby Anini Beach. This is a gracious North Shore base for guests who want the scenery of Hanalei Bay with the ease of a well-laid-out condo.
The Space:
Both bedrooms have king beds and their own en suite bath, giving the two-bedroom layout a welcome sense of privacy. Air conditioning, a full kitchen, comfortable living and dining areas, private lanais, and an in-home washer and dryer make it easy to settle in. Hanalei Bay views carry through the space and out to the lanai.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to Hanalei Bay Resort's shared outdoor pool and hot tub. Paid parking is listed among the resort amenities. Some facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Princeville sits above Hanalei Bay on Kauai’s green North Shore, where mountain ridges, waterfalls, and the Pacific set the pace. Pick up groceries or coffee at Princeville Center, snorkel at Anini Beach, then drive down to Hanalei for beach time, local shops, and dinner. It is an easy base for a Na Pali Coast outing or a slower day watching the light change on Bali Hai. This is Kauai for families and couples who want scenery without a rushed itinerary.
Getting Around:
A rental car is recommended for exploring Princeville, Hanalei, North Shore beaches, and trailheads at your own pace. Princeville Center offers nearby groceries and dining. Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Paid parking is listed at Hanalei Bay Resort.
Other Things to Note:
Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors and sounds may be audible between connecting doors. Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. Unit 4204: air conditioning, king bed, full bathroom with tub and shower, TV, mini fridge, coffee maker, private entrance and lanai. Unit 4205: air conditioning in the bedroom and living room area, king bed, full bath with walk-in shower, TV, full kitchen, dishwasher, washer/dryer, private lanai and entrance. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations. This is a privately owned unit in a resort, so hotel style daily housekeeping is not offered.

This is was our second stay at Hanalei Bay Resort and our first stay in this unit that is managed by Vacasa. We love the north shore location of HBR. The main pool, tennis, pickleball, hot tub, grounds, and of course the fabulous views are hard to beat. There are 2 on-site restaurants, as well.This second floor unit is very spacious (2 bedroom, 2 bath). Looks just like the photos. I do wish there was a 2 twin option that converted to a king for a family of 4, but I understand they do have the option to rent each bedroom separately as a lock-off. The third part of this unit was rented to very loud people staying a few of our 7/nt stay (so not sure how thick the walls are between each lock-off). As for the management company, they promptly replied to all of my questions before and during my stay. However, some of their answers about this specific unit were incorrect. I was told no washer/dryer, no hair dryers, no beach chairs. All were in the unit. Washer/dryer question was confirmed to be in the unit by a different rep., thankfully (because that is a must for us). We had a conversation about the hair dryers (being a vacation rental owner myself, I thought this it was very odd to not supply them in HI due to having to fly to HI). We show up, there are hair dryers in both bathrooms and beach chairs in closet. Upon arrival tv remotes were all mixed up/batteries low/dead. Management said they would drop off batteries, but never showed up. Best part-balcony w/gorgeous views!
Family of 4, our second week- long stay in this resort. Located in Hanalei Bay Resort on the north shore of Kauai, this second floor 2 bed/2 bath condo was as described in listing and photos. Views are better than photos show. :) You do have to climb stairs, but I think people on ground level had some issues with mosquitoes. Personally, we like the third floor better(high ceilings, no one walking above you, but still better than ground floor). Vacasa was very prompt in their replies to my questions before and during our stay. However, they did give some incorrect info (saying no washer/dryer, hair dryers, or beach chairs). The condo had all upon our arrival. They definitely should confirm things like this before discussing with future guests. The condo is located in one of the best buildings in the complex, IMO. It’s not too far from parking and has wonderful views from inside and from the balconies. The condo does have a lot of furniture-might clear out a few things to make it more updated and even more spacious. The walls are not very thick between this condo and the lock-off next door (heard every word of very loud guests’ early morning and late night conversations during my part of our stay). The resort itself charged high resort fees and daily parking. But, they keep the grounds in pristine condition and provide golf cart rides to and from your condo if needed (great for moving luggage). The main pool, hot tub, tennis and pickleball courts, fire pits, sunset and mountain views and overall feel of the resort are wonderful! I do wish owners would provide (cheap) tennis rackets, but you can rent them onsite. There are 2 onsite restaurants-spent our first night on island/22nd anniversary at Happy Talk. :) All in all it was a great stay in this condo. We love Hanalei Bay Resort and hope to return again in the near future.
