HBR Family Condo 7202, Ocean View, Quiet Location, Add'l Resort Fees

The condo was exactly as described. It’s located on the far side of HBR, along a greenbelt, so all you hear are the birds! We definitely will be back.

Absolutely Beautiful Property - Actually bigger than it looks in the pictures. Amazing View, Staff, Restaurant on site. You can call for the Golf Cart to come pick you up from your room and take you to the private beach shared with the new One Hotel

Our stay was perfect! Photos do not do it justice. The views from balcony were INSANE especially at sunset. Stop looking and book this place/ unit!!HBR overall was amazing resort, great location and amenities and shared beach with 1 Hanalei was very nice. Resort has a ton of golf carts ready if you do not want to walk the hilly property Cannot wait to come back!!

The view was exceptional! This place was inviting, very spacious, and had everything we could have needed for beach, kitchen, laundry, toiletries, etc. The host was easily available and left a nice little welcome box of goodies that we enjoyed! The beds and furniture were comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and blankets for cool mornings on the lanai. HBR is amazing- good onsite restaurants, walk to a great beach and 1Hotel, plus golf carts that will take you anywhere. Definitely recommend and would be back!

Clean condo, good AC. Needs a little updating to match the price of the place.

HBR is the perfect location in Hanalei. Beware there are a lot of hills on property and requires a decent amount of walking.

We loved the view. That was the main highlight for us. The room was ok. The room felt like it needed some maintenance, updating and deep cleaning. We had a lot of ants in the kitchen and the phone there also didn’t work for the front desk which was concerning because our 7 yr old got sick there in the middle of night. It would be good to mention for future guest you can’t park near the unit and golf carts are used to move your luggage in and out of the place. Overall we were happy to stay and it’s a lovely location.

We had a major an issue in the kitchen due to someone leaving sugar open in a cabinet.They came and wiped the kitchen down, but we still dealt with them the whole time.We also emailed about the TV in the master bedroom, not working but did not get a response pertaining to the TVThe view of the mountains was fantastic!They had all the beach supply he could want, which was especially helpful!The master king size bed was very comfortable!

The unit was nice and spacious. The view was spectacular. The only thing needing attention was the dusting and floors. We loved the property and management was amazing!

Can’t say enough about the view from this condo! It also was larger than it seemed from the pics. Resort grounds were amazing as well. Only reason I’m giving 5 stars vs 6 is because the vacation property management company was not responsive at all when we reported 2 minor issues.

The condo was absolutely perfect. Very clean, spacious, and the beds exceptionally comfortable. All the amenities you could need for a stay, and the view was hands-down the best feature. This is our fourth time on the island and by far one of our favorite stays.Will definitely come back and stay here again.

The condo was great and exactly as listed. Only room for improvement would be the trundle bed mattress was definitely worn out for an adult sleeper. Otherwise the views and unit couldn’t be better. Thank you so much!

Unit was great, very roomy for just the two of us. Although at the very end of the property the view was fabulous and really enjoyed the lounge chairs on the balcony.

Beautiful setting next to green belt. Roomy unit. Beautiful view and comfortable lounge chairs on Lanai, but high stools at table are hard to get onto an uncomfortable (all your weight is on your thighs. Pillows too soft for me. Nice kitchen and accessories. Not sure why there was another refrigerator in the living room.

Very nice property with excellent views

We loved this property. The units were amazing and the owners thought of everything. The Hanalei Bay Resort (HBR) is so beautiful. The views are majestical and could not get over it everywhere you look. The staff are great as well! Thank you for everything. We will be staying here again and will recommend to everyone we know!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Many additional charges including an advertising cut that want party of invoice. Threat of reducing damage deposit: required shower before bed, towel placed on furniture before sitting down, wash feet before entry (though no get wash station at door.) Unit at far end of complex away from parking. Noise of neighbors travels thru ceiling and walls.

Loved our stay the property is beautiful the condo was lovely. The only complaint is that in the VRBO listing it was NOT clearly mentioned about the resort daily fees and the parking fees. Which ended up being an extra 300 dollars.

The accommodations were somewhat dated and the dishwasher leaked. Otherwise, very nice. The bed was excellent. And the view off the lanai was “Worth the price of admission “

We had a great time! The views were amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and more than enough room for just two people. :) Mahalo for a great vacation home!

I rarely write reviews and do not want to sound negative, but I want to mention a few things that I would have liked to of read prior to our visit.. Unit is generally nice, has pretty views and is very private. We met the cleaner just as it was getting ready for us to start our stay, about 20 minutes before 4:00. Unit seemed "quick-cleaned." It was mostly clean; the tile floors were dusty/crunchy in some common areas and really dirty under some of the furniture. The recliner chair in the front room was super dusty; we put a comforter over it during our stay. My daughter found a couple used Band-Aids in the roll out bed, not sure if they were left by previous guests on purpose but kinda gross. The master bedroom mattress was very comfortable. The fitted sheet did not fit but the mattress was good quality. The fan in the only bathroom never worked. It was looked at and a "part" was ordered but it never functioned during our week. This made the bathroom essentially a closet. The unit had chairs, boogie boards, and snorkel gear that we appreciated. Some of the furniture in the unit, like the bedroom furniture, is light weight and just lower quality. I don't want to beat this place up, it's decent, but unlike places we have stayed in the past this unit appears to be a full time rental and not frequented by any owner. It's just a little banged up like rentals can get. I would recommend it in a pinch, it works, but for the money I would consider other options as well.

The resort and view from the balcony are both stunning. Great location. Condo was clean and comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Condo was as described, no surprises. Floors were sticky, probably due to the cleaning products. Bathroom fan wasn't working, unfortunately. ACs in both rooms did a good job of cooling us off. Condo is well stocked and ready for you to cook if you desire. This end of the island is absolutely beautiful! The perfect first half of our 10 days on Kauai. Mahalo!!

Fabulous property with gorgeous vistas. Hanalei bay Beach was beautiful. Nice snorkeling and swimming. Room was very spacious and kitchen large and clean. Highly recommend and would come back here next time we come to Kauai. Loved it!!
