The yard has many tropical fruit trees including Lychee, Bananas, Longons, Coconuts, Breadfruit, Mulberries, Tangerines & Soursop (Guanabana). You're wlecome to pick them when in season.
Papaaloa Country Store & Cafe is just down the road & great for basic necessities. Cafe & Bar has great local hot food, drinks & Live Music (Please check their open hours online as they change frequently)

☀︎ The property is set in tropical nature so expect to occasionally spot little bugs or critters. Hawaii does not have any poisonous creatures not even snakes! So please do not worry if you see something you've never seen before, like the Madagascar Day Gecko :) They're very beautiful, friendly and only eat bugs.
☀︎ Wild chickens are a real thing and roosters crowing or sounds of coqui frogs at night is quite common on the coast.

Needed a stop over closer to my final destination.
Cute cabin had everything I needed. Comfortable, great view, bonus farm animals hanging around!
Only one night, over from Kona side. Quiet and dark and peaceful. We will come back to this place for an extended stay.
A nice calm, quiet location (except for the neighbour's constantly barking dog) with a great ocean view. Contact with the owners was minimal and only electronic. Unfortunately there were a couple issues that were not shared with us when we arrived...missing keys and a stove that didn't work and at the best was dangerous to use.
This was beautiful, a great location and a perfect little suite to stay in.
