1 week great beaches near by. Good restaurants. Pool and service was great
This unit is in a one of the nicest communities for families at Waikoloa and includes a fabulous common area, including a restaurant, bar, fitness center, and pool, all with super views, particularly at sunset. The unit itself is a bit of a walk (10 minutes) from the common area, but is in a quiet location on the top floor (which we recommend for better views, decks, and an expansive living area). The kitchen is one of the best equipped we have encountered in years of experience at rental homes, and all living spaces are large and well appointed. Included a BBQ, which was key for us. We also had access to the garage which contained an great assortment and quantity of all the equipment you could want. If you hope to park in the garage, you may want to confirm that it will be empty (owner's car was stored there during our visit). There is other parking not too far away. Has good A/C, and other than the car in the garage, the description matched the listing very well. We hosted our family with 5 adults and enjoyed our stay very much. If it meets your needs, we highly recommend it!
We enjoyed our week in this unit. It was well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated the extra supplies in the garage with made our beach visits and excursions easy- we usually have to rent beach chairs and boogie boards. Our kids had the best time staying in this home! Thank you for a beautiful place to stay during our vacation. We will return!
Very functional and spacious two story appartement. Awesome to have access to snorkeling gears and bodyboards. The complex amenities are great too but small deception that the pool/jacuzzi area closes at 8pm.
Everything about this place was amazing. The cleanliness and amount of space was amazing. The pool was incredible as well.
We were glad we selected this condo, the pool and restaurant being in this area made our stay much enjoyable.
We loved our most recent stay at Hali'i Kai. Everything went very smoothly! All info and communications were great with property manager. This is our 4 or 5th stay in this complex. Loved all of the beach equipment available for our use! Highly recommend this property!

We stayed at this property with our teens and grandparents. I have stayed in Wailea in Maui numerous times and this place met every expectation. It was clean, very well stocked and had the perfect amount of space. The pool is a club house. The staff are wonderful. This complex is the combination of condo living with a private restaurant and bar. It was so nice to walk down to fresh towels, nice loungers with cushions and a full service. You can bring snacks down or cook on the bbq at the pool. You can not bring in alcoholic beverages but they have happy hour in the afternoon with very reasonable prices. They do have a fresh ice cold water stand. On the weekends they have live music, food specials and at sunset the blow the conch with a Hawaiian tribute. There were lots of smaller kids playing with no issues. Pool temperature and hot tub were spot on. For bugs, just do not leave your screen doors open. There is the odd bug and yes cockroaches are on the big island. There were no bug issues in the condo. The grounds are immaculate and as long as you keep the screens closed the bugs and geckos will stay outside. The location of the condo is convenient. 10 minute walk to the shops, 5 min walk to the Hilton for Kona coffee or restaurants and 15 minute walk to black sand beach. This complex is 5 star. All the amenities you could want. We will be back!
I have stayed at Halii Kai for 15+ years, at multiple condos, and this one was the best! The unit has been updated with ‘hardwood’ floors and a new washer/dryer. The kitchen is well stocked, even for picky chefs. There is also a lot of beach equipment included…usually we end up buying it and leaving it there, so it was a nice addition. The process was seamless from start to finish. The pool at Halii Kai is fantastic in location (albeit a bit busy). It was a great stay for 6 adults.

We were very excited as we drove up to the property. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The unit itself looked clean, however, when I walked into the kitchen on the very first morning, there were multiple roaches! I called Korby and he assured me that the property had pest control maintenance and this was the first time anyone had complained ... I'm not sure I believe that because there were already roach traps in a cabinet in the unit's laundry room. We used those traps and, throughout the remainder of our stay, 'caught' MANY roaches of various sizes. My husband took and emailed pictures to Korby on the day of our check out; we never heard any response.
The property was lovely and our family of 6 enjoyed our vacation thoroughly. Thank you for a lovely experience.
